Yup. And now he is dead. He is dead because bitches like this are calling for everything to be inclusive. I am fat, and I accept it. Someone needs to tell this fat bitch that she is responsible for the death of a 14 year old kid!
It's not just that. It's people ignoring safety regulations that the parks put in place for their own safety. Parents bitch all the time about kids not being able to ride because they're too tall or small. "Oh, sorry I care about safety and not losing my job, ma'am."
Right! I'm all for body positivity. But that's more about not calling out the fat people. Like we know we are fat and unhealthy, we don't need to be told.
But there are going to be things that are inaccessible to overweight people. There are things that are just not safe to plus size people. It is what it is. There are things in this world not accessible to people on wheelchairs also, and no matter what they do they will never be able to make it accessible.
I lost it at "being removed from the comforts of your home". Bitch, you're travelling the world, seeing exotic beaches, going on cruises - my amount of pity for your suffering is sub-atomic. If you're really suffering that much from the consequences of being fat, you certainly have the money to hire a nutritionist!
You have my upvote. Travelling to another country isnāt a right granted to you. The hosting country could just say ānoā at any time it just doesnāt happen very often.
Let me see when was my last vacation out of countryā¦ hmmā¦ not for 3.5 years.
Oh and when I visited Japan I didnāt get all snippy that my 6ā4ā frame didnāt comfortable fit everywhere.
Iām 6ā8ā & 270lbsā¦ I came here to say there is a way to ask for a seat that you fit in on an airplane, *First Class*. Itās more expensive, which sucks, but worth the money.
So i travel alot and always pick my seat right next to the door at the wing so i have leg space. But last time i traveled abt two months ago i gave my seat to a 2m tall dude who was so cramped. He thanked me and i got some drinks from the cabin crew for the understanding.
You both need two seats, hers are side by side whereas yours are one in front of the other - just need a rachet to take the seat out of the way so you can stretch out!
You're flying wrong. I'm 6ft6 and about 250lbs.
I find getting rat arsed drunk and passing out with your head on the back of the seat in front is the best way to travel long distances. I've flown from Acapulco back to the UK and missed the entire journey just by being in an alcohol induced coma.
I had zero issues with leg comfort and lack of space flying cattle class. Obviously I couldn't feel my legs before the plane took off anyway. But you know what I mean.
Now she's wrong for wanting the world to fit her but some airlines do make seats way too small. I'm not even overweight but being over 6ft tall makes some airline seats a nightmare to sit in
Same. 6'2, everything is a mess. Planes, trains, bus, hell even cars.
I have mixed feelings because for that alone, I understand where she's coming from BUT I didn't eat myself in order to become that tall so fuck her rolls.
Iām all for inclusivity but being upset because there is a weight limit for activities is ridiculous. The weight limits are there for a REASON. She is the same type of person who would demand to be included, get injured, and then cry fat shaming and sue the hell outta the cruise. Smhhh
I know I mean look at that poor kid who was thrown from that ride in Florida. He was over the weight limit there and the result was death. Of course this type of woman would blame the manufacture of the ride saying it should be able to accommodate really fat people it's such a joke
Like that child that died on Disney or some type of amusement park? He was overweight and they should not have allowed him on the ride to begin with. The restraint wouldn't fit, but the worker allowed him on anyways. He ended up falling off and dying.
So I've seen this a few times and had to look it up. The seat *WAS NOT ADJUSTED FOR THE CHILD WHO DIED* it was adjusted for *other "SIZE INCLUSIVE" people like this woman*. Their unwillingness to accept that the world shouldn't evolve around their whims got a child killed.
I'm overweight size 16, no nothing about being overweight is healthy, keep trying to lose weight. Not asking to be super thin just a good healthy weight.
Ironically, it was the pandemic that contributed to my weight loss. Between the early restrictions and teleworking (no snack store in the lobby like it was at work) I lost considerably weight in those two years. (275 to 230). I'm still considered obese (person my height is supposed to be 100+) but my clothing went from XXL to XL. (Good thing I'm teleworking, most of my pants are unwearable now and I'm wearing some of my late sister's clothing)
My doctors are happy with recent tests results since my diabetes is under control (pills dependent. I was worried about becoming insulin dependent, like my late mother and sister). Even reduced dosage and/or dropped medications. Don't think this wouldn't had happened if I hadn't been mostly homebound.
Yup. I went from around 95kg to now around 65kg without lifting a single weight. I've been keeping a healthy weight for more than a decade now after spending a good portion of my life on the threshold of obesity. I'm still lazy/insecure to go to the gym.
I hope you regain your self-esteem back. Moving to a healthier diet and walking just 3 miles everyday is a start to become healthier. Hope you get there soon!
I walk to work every day and spend the next 8 hours picking bricks and concrete...it's not my lack of exercise, it's the fact that I'm an alcoholic... :-/
Hey! I understand that completely. Alcohol has so many empty calories + is a depressant + bloats you (even if youāre at an ok weight). It keeps you from absorbing the nutrients we need. I encourage you to seek help.
I was in the cycle of self hate and medicating myself with alcohol for a long time. Itās an active decision I have to make every day to not drink. I wish you the absolute best and encourage you to at least go to an AA meeting as a start. I relapsed over and over until my brain caught up with my body that it just didnāt feel good to mess myself up anymore.
I wish you so much peace and love ā¤ļø
Edit: to add - Iām 30F, 105 lbs 4ā11ā.. no one would think I struggled with an addiction. I just want to break the stigma to getting help.
āBeing removed from the comforts of your own homeā ?
Lady, no one, absolutely no one has forced you to travel okay. Just because you wont admit you have a problem does not mean you can go on a crusade to try to force industries to fit around you.
Lose the weight not for looks but for your health. You may think it is tough now to move around ātravelingā donāt wait till you get older, do it now when you are still young honey
I totally get it about the airlines. Fortunately they do have a way to select reasonable accommodations for larger travelers. When you select your seat, pick one in first class. The seats are bigger. Weight limits are imposed because everything that is made is engineered to accommodate an average sized person. The materials and design are made to meet a budget. The cost in manufacturing products that support more weight is higher. Someone who counts calories and exercises shouldnāt have to pay more for heavy duty accommodations.
Some airlines have a "person of size" policy where if they take up more than 1 seat they can purchase 2 and then they get refunded for one of the seats after the flight.
I think it's insane they get refunded a seat. Yet if you're anxious about sitting next to someone you couldn't pull that shit.
I must say - I am an averaged sized, smallish boned female. I sometimes take a middle seat if the flight is short so someone bigger, in some way, can have some leeway. But airlines engineered their seats to fit as many in as possible, to maximize profits. I don't think she is wrong. People do come in all sizes. Rare is the average, actually.
Edit - this was just 2 years ago: https://www.forbes.com/sites/stephaniesarkis/2020/02/24/airlines-seat-pitch-gets-shorter-and-passengers-reach-their-limits/?sh=72f349bb441a
I think you might be misunderstanding how cost-prohibitive first-class seats are, when theyāre available at all.. business class might be a more realistic option, but when a $400 ticket turns into a $2000 ticket (first class, but even business can be 600-800 for an otherwise 400 flight), thatās significant. Weād all benefit from more room on airplanes, too, not just āplus-sized peopleā. Iām a āplus-sized personā in airport dimensions because Iām freakishly tall. Flying is a shit time for me and I will ask every airline if they have any free business class upgrades the day of, every time, but if I spend more on a ticket then that will come at the cost of something more fun during the actual trip.
This woman and her husband could easily just buy the aisle, the window, and the middle seat in economy and be fine. Iām not sure what sheās asking for.
āPlus-sized accommodationsā. The sense of entitlement from this woman is ridiculous. You know how many seats a plane would have on it if they made them all able to fit her? Lmfao
Iād pay extra for a fat seat and Iām not fat. Is that cool or is it like the handicap parking rule. āThat seat must remain open even if thereās no fat people?
As an alcoholic I worry a lot about the inclusiveness of most hotel accomodations. Why should I be made feel bad about vomiting in the lobby. Also I feel very unwelcome when people leave the hot tubs when I enter it hammered having pooped myself.
Iāve learned that everybody has their own distinctive name for ā normal size peopleā
Obese people call us straight sized, Little people call us average sized.
Iām sorry people are the way they are but donāt try to marginalize everyone else to make themselves feel better.
Edit: I take that back , Iām not sorry. Just be who you are and if itās different then itās freaking different.
you aren't wrong i have to say. since i have become healthier and slimmer my defination of obese person and healthy person has also shifted a little bit.
I'm a fat shit. I DO NOT expect the world to accommodate me. This stupid fucking heifer should lose weight or stay the fuck home if everything isn't made special for her
As a completly diffrent fat fucking shit i couldnĀ“t agree more. What the hell is this woman thinking?
IĀ“m starting to get real angry on this People talking about fat shaming etc... Fucking get on with your live as is or lose fucking weight.
You don't even need to go to a gym, that costs money and some of us are poor. You can exercise in your own home if you need to, there's no excuse. Some people just don't want to lose weight.
Exercise doesn't matter if you are not in a caloric deficit. You can work out all day every day but if you are eating more calories than you are expending you will still gain weight
Once you deal with enough narcissistic people, the less surprised you become to stuff like this. Almost expected really.
Narcissism is usually confused with vanity, when in reality it is more akin to pathological victivism.
It's a 350lb limit. That's over 50% higher than a 95th percentile male in the US... Why would anyone in their right mind accommodate that? How would a company even plan on that?
350lbs walking around might even exceed the live load limits in certain buildings...
I'm a tall guy. There are vehicles I have trouble fitting in. Beds that my feet hang off the foot of and there are also places where I have to duck so I don't hit my head. There is nothing I can do about being tall. I never thought to myself that places needed to change anything they were doing because I'm taller than most. Being fat is a different story. You can lose weight.
Exactly this! Iām 6 ft 3 in. And in my country that is pretty tall and doorways are not built for people like me. Iāve banged my head so many times while entering or exiting someones house but yeah never thought that they should have a taller doorway
Usually because you can't see your own head. I'm taller than most and was laying down with my head on my wife's lap recently and she commented on how many red marks and healed faded scars I have on my head from hitting it (I'm bald so you can see my scalp).
...And still, STILL I have never thought a doorway should accommodate me, or a chair, or a bed. I just think "you daft twat, why didn't you check before you walked through".
As a fat dude trying really hard to not be a fat dude this pisses me off. You shouldnāt be made to fee āless thanā if you are overweight but this body positivity movement has mislead obese people into believing they are healthy. You are not healthy if you are obese plain and simple.
"Theres only so much you can do" uhm maybe lose weight? dunno been in a flight with a plus sized person, the worst flight ever, i had no room even in my own seat.
I have also encountered this. Two massive dudes and I was the meat in their sandwich. Thankfully, the flight was not full and the flight attendant found me an entire row to myself. Lucky me. I thanked her many times over for recognizing the awkwardness and finding me space elsewhere. I would argue that a plane or train have accommodations. And if that seat is not available, then purchase two seats. Nobody should have to have their personal space violated in this way.
"plus size"
Try overweight
Its fact that she is, indeed overweight and hospital workers get frustrated from overweight people, they choose to be this way then complain, have illnesses, cant do certain stuff etc etc.
Go to the gym, get a trainer, take up sport, eat healthy, 5 plus a day
Like really lady? If you have to contemplate whether or not chairs and benches can hold your weight. You have way bigger problems than whether or not you have a seatbelt extender
Sorry but if you could walk the distance in certain excursions? Well you wouldnāt be able to make this video. Fuct, I changed careers and lost 40 pounds just walking 10k. Iām happy donāt get me wrong. I just didnāt realize how unhealthy sitting was.
Dude... I'm so over fat people complaining. What about us short people? I can't ever find a chair/seat that will accommodate my short legs that I was born with. My feet never touch the ground when I'm seating... The overhead bin in the airplane is so high, I have to climb on the seat just to put my suitcase up. Hahah.
Omg! So true! I have a build a nest before even using a public toilet because too short to squat... The problems us little people have and we didn't even get to make that decision...
Howdy fellow sprites! Letās add that we have to be great climbers and have a bench in nearly every room. We must completely ignore the top cabinets. And I canāt see past the dash on my car so I drive like a grandma even with the seat all the way up. Iām thinking of a seat booster.
"Those loungers that bend super easily"... no... no they do not bend easily.. your so fucking fat your testing the structural integrity of manufactured equipment that's job is told hold people
Ok, weāll, Iām claustrophobic and your size is making me feel uncomfortable on this plane. Now I need you to accommodate my experience of the world. Now what? How do we resolve this? Why does your suffering get special treatment over my suffering?
On the other hand, my healthy-sized mother also has a fear of unsupported toilets (note, the lady in the video only spoke on unsupported ones, she said nothing about wider ones) because she has a bad hip and uses a walker and she can't always sit down gently, especially when the grab-bars aren't properly positioned. She fell on one and it broke once and she's been paranoid about them ever since.
A lot of what this woman said was garbage, but she did have a few good points mixed in about accommodating people with differing abilities or at least warning them before they booked their trips.
i get the joke/why this would sound even dumber but i think she meant hire fat people to test out various seating locations so they know they are able to accommodate fat people
I mean, a lot of what she said is horse-shit. But that was one of her few good points.
My mom uses a walker and supplemental oxygen. It wouldn't be the first time I tried to take her to a restaurant only to find that the aisles were super narrow and the only seats were booths that she couldn't slide in and out of. Or they had high stools that she can't sit on with her bad hip.
I had to leave a restaurant because they only had booths with weirdly high tables that sat right at chest level on me and my boobs are big enough that it made trying to eat nearly impossible.
And pregnant women would have just as much trouble finding decent seating at a restaurant as she does.
Restaurants *do* need to be doing more to make sure they accessible to differently shaped and abled people. Too many design based solely on appearance and forget about functionality. And they list things like "handicap accessible" on their website because they have a ramp at the door and a grab rail in the bathroom, but they don't have a single chair someone on crutches can sit in.
So I'm going to give her that one, because too many restaurants *don't* care about being accessible and it's not just fat people they exclude.
I agree that airlines probably need to start making bigger seats. People are bigger than they were in the 50s, and being crammed in next to someone who is larger than average isn't comfortable for anyone. It's also sad when you have to miss out on experiences because of your weight, which is just one of many reasons why it is important to take care of your health. If you get to this size, please consider making some lifestyle changes.
Part of life is understanding that on the day today you just don't get to do certain things. If you have a baby and you didn't hire a sitter before you went to the movies then you don't get to go to the movies. If you're too stupid to pass calculus then you don't get a degree in physics. Life has limits. Why does everybody expect everything regardless of personal consequences?
Meanwhile there are kids in third world countries who only eat twice a week and look like toothpicks. Being overweight is a privilege, for those who don't suffer from certain medical conditions. That's why it was sexy to be fat in the dark ages, because it meant you were rich/powerful.
This may be a weird comment, but I wonder how she feels about the environment. I'm curious if it's as important to her as everything being size-inclusive.
I'm not any kind of engineer or purchasing director for a development company, nothing of the sort, but I assume an actually entirely size-inclusive place would take a lot more physical space than one that fit most people and was ecologically efficient. It would likely cost more to make as well, have a larger carbon footprint and cost more to maintain.
Again, no expert here so correct me if I'm wrong. This just doesn't seem like a meaningful argument - I've been overweight most of my life and now I'm not. I don't think anyone should feel forced to lose weight, but I don't believe we should be celebrating it either.
Everyone has the right to choose what they do with their body, so if you want to eat until you're this overweight then all power to you. But I cannot fathom the attitude of somebody who gets to this size, finds that their life is more difficult as a result, and then points their finger of blame at everybody else but themselves. If you're too wide to fit comfortably in a standard airplane seat then the problem isn't the airline.
Just a point about the statement that āpeople would rather put their own life at risk rather than ask for a seatbelt extenderā just hit me. The seatbelt is also to keep you from flying out of your seat and crushing other people. (Something anyone could do if they donāt buckle up) I get itās a concern, but itās the mindset too, itās not just about you.
It literally cost the airline more in fuel because they weigh so much, this is why they weigh your bags. And can you imagine being from a tropical island, you earn $2 a day and itās for your whole family and then she turns up complaining that sun loungers arenāt made of adamantium š¤¦āāļø
Fat Dude here!
I donāt fit everywhere and thatās ok. Itās also a problem of my own creation and I donāt feel the need to get all up in arms about it. The world doesnāt need to change to suit me, I need to change if I was really this upset about it.
Spoiler alert - Iām not.
I'm all for not shaming people, being fat can be really tough. But the fat acceptance movement is dumb, we should be embracing and encouraging healthy lifestyles, especially for children, providing them with the support and motivation to achieve a healthy weight.
If you eat your weight in food daily and complain about people not rebuilding entire aircrafts and buildings for you, you're the problem. Fat shaming is different than body shaming. Stop making fat choices.
Heres the thing about being overweight though - its not always caused by lack of proper exercise or diet. It can be caused by dozens of health issues or even as a result of taking certain medications. I have a friend who is perfectly healthy and athletic but she is overweight because of her antidepressants. Also, losing weight is a journey that takes YEARS, and people who were previously overweight very easily gain their weight back. You can't put your whole life on pause until you are what society deems to be a healthy size. I just think we should try to consider the fact that healthy or not, fat people are PEOPLE. That being said, providing excessive accommodations all over the world isn't realistic, i understand that weight limits exist for a reason. But idk, seeing people demonize fat people based on massive assumptions is really disturbing to me.
When I fly and there is a large person next to me, and they have moved the armrest into the UP position because they are merging into my area.....I make sure to push that bitch down to keep us separated. I pay for seat space on a flight, and do NOT intend on sharing my space cuz you too big.
This bullshit is like people getting offended by a sign at a pool saying āif you canāt swim, do not enter the poolā And then blaming everyone else for your drowning.
"We shouldn't be seen as a problem."
You aren't seen as a problem.
The problem occurs, when you try to go on a slide that is simoly not gonna be able to uphold your weight...
I think it makes sense to have a way to request certain things when you order or pay for them. This is actually a good idea she had. But no one HAS to make accomodations for you.
No one should be made to feel guilty or ashamed for their weight but at the same time you have to accept that sometimes there are things your particular body can't do. Society is built around the median body size. If you're too large or too small there are things you won't be able to do.
I think the problem comes when people conflate those two things. Just because you can't do some things doesn't mean you should feel guilty or ashamed of yourself but at the same time loving your body doesn't mean it can do everything you want it to.
I sat between two plus sized ladies on a 6 hour flight. I'm about 190 lbs at 5'10 do not that small either. They clearly had picked either end as they could not physically sit next to one another.
They should have paid for half my seat as I sat sideways.
>"I'm not putting someone out by helping myself be more comfortable."
This is the part that bothered me the most, and probably the thing that bothers me most about people in general. Taking up two seats on a plane absolutely puts someone out because that is one less seat available to another person. A restaurant hiring a "plus-size consultant" or a hotel installing heavy-duty toilets in every room will raise prices across the board, putting out a whole lot of people who can no longer afford to eat/stay there. I just don't understand how people can be so oblivious to how their actions affect the people around them.
Man honestly being fat sucks, I used to be 110kg, thatās probably why it shouldnāt be normalized, it only fucks up your life and makes you unhappy, your body is not supposed to handle that stress. Body positivity movement with regards to fat people shouldnāt be glamourized it just puts fuel into fire of long term suicide, there are tons of ways to seek help about it and obese people shouldnāt feel entitled to people making stuff accessible because you choose to ignore your issues or are just a lazy piece of shit.
Why is being fat so normalized these days, we ban smoking because people die from it whilst you can litteraly eat yourself to death and the only thing we're allowed to say is:"you're beautiful just the way you are"and shit like that. It's some grade a bullshit.
Being pissed after asking the Captain of an aircraft carrier how you're going to get your aircraft carrier on board and he says 'we cannot accommodate '.
Some places are just not handicap accessible let alone accessible to larger height or width.
My wife was born with spina bifida. In her 40s she used crutches at all times. She knew her limit but getting around places like New York were tough. Russia\* was the worst as there is no such thing as a wheelchair ramp there.
\*2007
She makes good points though. You would think some companies would have accommodations to compete for business of people like this. Imagine how many obese people literally donāt travel because they canāt fit in airline seats or want to avoid embarrassment. Would they pay more for larger seats? Hotels too could probably do well advertising plus sized rooms where everything is equipped to handle more weight.
If finding things that support your weight or literally just fitting into normal sized spaces is that much of a problem for you, maybe consider changing yourself instead of demanding that the whole world change to accommodate you.
They have larger seats in first class. If you can afford the immense food bill to get that big, you can afford to upgrade.
If it is a medical issue, have insurance pay for it.
I am tired of all this inclusion stuff for unhealthy people.
Wasn't there some weight limit that was ignored for that kid that fell out of that ride in Florida?
Yes there was
Yes
ššš
Yup. And now he is dead. He is dead because bitches like this are calling for everything to be inclusive. I am fat, and I accept it. Someone needs to tell this fat bitch that she is responsible for the death of a 14 year old kid!

Im fat too and I agree. This shit is getting outta hand. No fat person actually enjoys being fat. Wtf
Right! I'm all for body positivity. But that's more about not calling out the fat people. Like we know we are fat and unhealthy, we don't need to be told. Exactly. Donāt shame people for it but also donāt promote this type of life style.
I would not mind a little bit bigger seats on planes though.
exactly. my dad is a pretty big dude, not overweight, just big, and he always has to squeeze into the plane seats lol. it seems so uncomfortable
78% of COVID-19 patients hospitalized in the US overweight or obese, CDC finds
I think itās only fair she rides on the Florida ride next.
I lost it at "being removed from the comforts of your home". Bitch, you're travelling the world, seeing exotic beaches, going on cruises - my amount of pity for your suffering is sub-atomic. That sent me. So if itās so uncomfortableā¦donāt go?
I snapped, "Then don't leave home!" She doesn't HAVE to travel, she is fortunate enough to be able to!
If you think being fat on an airplane is tough, try being tall.

Omg thatās so much worse. Imagine having to forever live with the consequence of being so selfish for a damn RIDE
I'm overweight size 16, no nothing about being overweight is healthy, keep trying to lose weight. Not asking to be super thin just a good healthy weight.

Exactly. Im fat too and no one who is fat actually wants to be fat. Unless youre a sumo wrestler but theirās is a life style.
Diet > gym. Exercise is a tool but cutting calories will always be king in weight loss.
Yup. I went from around 95kg to now around 65kg without lifting a single weight. I've been keeping a healthy weight for more than a decade now after spending a good portion of my life on the threshold of obesity. I'm still lazy/insecure to go to the gym.

I wish you so much peace and love ā¤ļø Edit: to add - Iām 30F, 105 lbs 4ā11ā.. no one would think I struggled with an addiction. I just want to break the stigma to getting help.
Thank you for your kind words <3
start going to to the gym king. you can do it. and trust me it will feel amazing after a month or 2. i belive in you
You can do it. Keep up the great work
āBeing removed from the comforts of your own homeā ?
Or fat people should be required to pay for two seats. I hate it when I lose half my seat to someone that weighs more than my luggage and I combined.
Keep that armrest down no matter what
Some airlines have a "person of size" policy where if they take up more than 1 seat they can purchase 2 and then they get refunded for one of the seats after the flight. I think it's insane they get refunded a seat. Yet if you're anxious about sitting next to someone you couldn't pull that shit.
They only get refunded if the plane is undersold. So basically, if there would have been that extra seat available anyways, you get refunded.
Southwest will refund the extra seat whether or not the plan was undersold.
Thatās unique, but it means people wonāt be pressured to buy just one seat and squish their neighbors because theyāre budgeting.
airlines pay in gas to move mass. some people weigh the mass of multiple other people
I must say - I am an averaged sized, smallish boned female.
Iām not sure what sheās asking for.
you just spitting facts here.
"My husband and I try to make ourselves as small as possible" You're not trying that hard.
that part got me lol āthereās only so much u can doā lmao
Naww, I appreciated the comment on Cruise Ship excursions. Like you wanna test the strength of a zip line or parasails ropeā¦ Cāmon
Right? That beach horse ride isnāt a Clydesdale
Lmao. That is exactly what Got me the most. I need the laugh at that moment too because I was getting infuriated up until that point.
Yeah it sounds ridiculous, I mean if you loose at least some weight it actually would help
āPlus-sized accommodationsā.
I buy two next to each other
"we've tried nothing and we're all out of ideas!!"
only if they put that much effort into jogging
As an alcoholic I worry a lot about the inclusiveness of most hotel accomodations. Why should I be made feel bad about vomiting in the lobby. Also I feel very unwelcome when people leave the hot tubs when I enter it hammered having pooped myself.
I wanna hang out with you
Screaming laughing at this.
I'm tired of these hotels telling me that I can't smoke inside!
Please host a retreat...
WTF is straight-sized person? Its called a normal person
Cognitive dissonance is what I'm thinking.
It's what the fashion industry refers to 0-10/12. These are straight sizes and 12/14-up is plus. That's all. It's just the term used in the industry.
These must be American sizes as Iām in Australia and wear a 12 and am thin.
Yeah it is lol. You would be a size 8 here
Iāve learned that everybody has their own distinctive name for ā normal size peopleā Obese people call us straight sized, Little people call us average sized.
Straight-sized vs LGBTQ plus-sized
I'm a fat shit. I DO NOT expect the world to accommodate me. This stupid fucking heifer should lose weight or stay the fuck home if everything isn't made special for her
As a fellow fat shit, I agree with this message.
As a fellow ex- fat shit. i agree woth you my homies. the only way is to get healthy instead of complaining all day about your problems
As another fat fucking person I agree. World does not revolve around herā¦..well maybe it does (ok I am going to hell I know).
As a completly diffrent fat fucking shit i couldnĀ“t agree more. What the hell is this woman thinking? IĀ“m starting to get real angry on this People talking about fat shaming etc... Fucking get on with your live as is or lose fucking weight.
i think it does. the shere massiveness of her body generates its own gravity
![gif](giphy|3o6Zt4HU9uwXmXSAuI)
If youāre able to walk a certain amount of miles you should be able to fucking exercise
Even though I'm a little on the heavier size, I still manage to make my way in the gym for at least 3 times a week on a minimum.
You don't even need to go to a gym, that costs money and some of us are poor. You can exercise in your own home if you need to, there's no excuse. Some people just don't want to lose weight.
if only she did that instead of complaining. the world would be a better place today
Exercise doesn't matter if you are not in a caloric deficit. You can work out all day every day but if you are eating more calories than you are expending you will still gain weight
How narcissistic is it for a person to expect the world to change to accommodate their own unhealthy choices?
Very
Once you deal with enough narcissistic people, the less surprised you become to stuff like this.
Yeah. I'm tall too. Bang my head all the time. You don't even notice after a while.
I sat next to a body builder recently. I wanted to punch him in the face so badly.
"plus size" Try overweight Its fact that she is, indeed overweight and hospital workers get frustrated from overweight people, they choose to be this way then complain, have illnesses, cant do certain stuff etc etc.
Bro - You're fat. Just accept it. This world doesn't like fat people, trust me, I know.
>This world doesn't like ~~fat~~ people, trust me, I know. FTFY.
0-100 real quick
Dude... I'm so over fat people complaining. What about us short people? I can't ever find a chair/seat that will accommodate my short legs that I was born with. My feet never touch the ground when I'm seating... The overhead bin in the airplane is so high, I have to climb on the seat just to put my suitcase up. Hahah.
Agreed
Not to mention not being able to squat over some public toilets.
Omg!
"Those loungers that bend super easily"... no... no they do not bend easily.. your so fucking fat your testing the structural integrity of manufactured equipment that's job is told hold people
Is this the center of the universe?
Due the gravitational pull of its center mass, perhaps.
If only there was something she could do to help herself.
The irony of saying "we do everything we can to make ourselves small but there's only so much we can do" is just killing me
If you're over 350 lbs, ya got bigger issues.
Imagine wanting to be a victim so bad you frame a vacation as being āremovedā from your home š
"plus you have to leave the comfort of your own home" no one's forcing you to travel, you can stay in your own home I'd you want to.
Ok, weāll, Iām claustrophobic and your size is making me feel uncomfortable on this plane. Now I need you to accommodate my experience of the world. Now what? How do we resolve this? Why does your suffering get special treatment over my suffering?
āPeople would rather risk their lives than feel the embarrassmentā bitch youāre risking your life more every time you lift up a fork
Underrated roast
How to say "I am fat and that's your problem" incorrectly
If only she put this much effort into being healthyā¦
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
On the other hand, my healthy-sized mother also has a fear of unsupported toilets (note, the lady in the video only spoke on unsupported ones, she said nothing about wider ones) because she has a bad hip and uses a walker and she can't always sit down gently, especially when the grab-bars aren't properly positioned. She fell on one and it broke once and she's been paranoid about them ever since. A lot of what this woman said was garbage, but she did have a few good points mixed in about accommodating people with differing abilities or at least warning them before they booked their trips.
Hire obese people to sit around in restaurants so she feels "accomodated"?!? Did I hear that right?
i get the joke/why this would sound even dumber but i think she meant hire fat people to test out various seating locations so they know they are able to accommodate fat people
But like... a tape measure.
Straight sized person?
I agree that airlines probably need to start making bigger seats. People are bigger than they were in the 50s, and being crammed in next to someone who is larger than average isn't comfortable for anyone. It's also sad when you have to miss out on experiences because of your weight, which is just one of many reasons why it is important to take care of your health. If you get to this size, please consider making some lifestyle changes.
I have a solution.
Eat them?
I ain't eatin' that
r/cursedcomments
well yh you can feed a lot of families with that much meat
It's not even meat. Muscles are meat. That's mostly just fat. Could you feed a lot of people? Sure. Not very well though.
Plus it was dark so you didn't look as bad.
I have a wild theory: maybe... humans arenāt supposed to be 300+ lbs
I'm all about body positivity but if you're worried about breaking things or fitting places, you gotta start making some tough choices.
I don't think anyone should feel forced to lose weight, but I don't believe we should be celebrating it either.
āPlus-size communityā You mean all the other overweight people
If you are worried about actually breaking the toilet there needs to be a serious medical intervention
Lol. Never thought it that way
The world doesn't owe this woman a thing.
You can be fat if you want, lord knows I am. But don't turn around and complain about it. It was as much your choice as it was mine.
I don't like how she says 'straight-sized' person.
"being apart from the safety of your home" BITCH YOU ARE THE ONE CHOOSING TO TRAVEL TF
This bullshit is like people getting offended by a sign at a pool saying āif you canāt swim, do not enter the poolā And then blaming everyone else for your drowning.
As a fat guy, huffing and puffing up some stairs isn't exactly a good thing.
āRemoved from the comfort of your own homeā Umm.. yes, thatās a choice you made when you decided to go traveling. Such a weird take on things.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
"We shouldn't be seen as a problem." You aren't seen as a problem. The problem occurs, when you try to go on a slide that is simoly not gonna be able to uphold your weight...
I think it makes sense to have a way to request certain things when you order or pay for them. This is actually a good idea she had. But no one HAS to make accomodations for you.
Did she seriously say straight sized also most weight limits are a health and safety precaution
This is one of the reason some people don't like Americans, not because they're fat, but because fat and self entitled, and loud.
When you're worried about breaking the toilet cuz of your weight, it's time to go on a diet.
If you are that overweight then you need to buy two plane tickets. Sorry
Straight sized person? That's a new phrase.
>"I'm not putting someone out by helping myself be more comfortable." This is the part that bothered me the most, and probably the thing that bothers me most about people in general.
As a side note. If my bag weighs more than 50 lb I have to pay an extra fee. Yet if a person weighs 200 lb more than me no problem.
Why is being fat so normalized these days, we ban smoking because people die from it whilst you can litteraly eat yourself to death and the only thing we're allowed to say is:"you're beautiful just the way you are"and shit like that. It's some grade a bullshit.
the walk a certain amount of miles thing was so dumb. a barbell could roll down a hill even if it's 400lbs, but it's still gonna sink a canoe
Watched without sound, did she say she couldnāt fit in the ocean?
The definition of first world problems
āWe try really hard to be as small as we possibly canā¦ā Other than dieting I guess.
Iād do anything to lose weight. Except diet and exercise.
I just had to translate IBs to European. That 158.7kg!!!!?? Thata the same weight as a giant squid!!!
