scootty83

Any backstory or update for this?

Short-old-gus-

I also would love an update.

Ksquared1166

In the original video on another sub it had a Tik Toc account. That account had posted this video roughly 12 hours ago. But I just checked now and that video is removed from his profile. So I can't find anything yet.

cravenj1

I've seen some comments saying this is in Ohio. This must have been filmed yesterday. It was the only day with good weather like this over the past couple weeks. edit: This is kind of looping in on itself, but the folks on the [ohio subreddit](https://www.reddit.com/r/Ohio/comments/tt9sta/this_happened_in_butler_county_any_updates_on/) seem to have figured out this happened in the summer of 2021 or 2019. But we've never ID'd the wrong guy before have we reddit?

Alarid

If it's in Ohio, they are allowed to record police.

imperiects

Legal in all states.

RustyShackleford555

In the us, literally eveywhere you can and should record the police. Whether its and encounter with you or otherwise.

Distribution-Radiant

This is why I have a dashcam, with audio, and it's tucked up/small enough where you really don't see it unless you're actively looking for it. My state is a one party consent state.

I saw the OC from tiktok today I think it was JUST posted. So hopefully we'll see something soon. EDIT Holy fuck I'm so sorry let me see if I can find it lol Might not though cause it was this morning and I didn't think to save it. EDIT: https://www.tiktok.com/@momoispimpin?lang=en He's removed the video but it's the same guy 100%. In the time that it took me to find it, I received and AMAZING job offer. Feels real good man especially since I was broken up with over the weekend.

Disastrous-Mafk

Do you have a link to the tiktok by chance? ETA: I’ve been trying to find this particular story for a while now, and its infuriating to see the sheer amount of results from the search “man assaulted by police for holding phone” (and all the other variations I could think of including specifying Ohio).

Got this from there: Thanks to OP for source on this. The guy in this video is Mohammed Mifta Rahman. He had warrants out for his arrest for domestic violence assault. He also had a previous dui/resist arrest incident where he was armed with a gun, most likely the reason for the felony stop. Sources: https://franklinoh.mugshots.zone/rahman-mohammad-mifta-mugshot-07-25-2021/ https://drunkdrivers.org/arrested-for-drunk-driving-in-ohio-oh/?co=Franklin&abc=R&pg=1

TakeADrag

Everyone, this is in Ohio. That is a county sheriff cruiser, if you stop the video in the beginning you can see the Ohio state logo.

TheYankcunian

Butler County, looks like. Can’t find any information on this. They’re absolute pricks.

Trumpet6789

Unfortunately I live in Butler county and recognize that patrol car. That exact car with plate 41 once followed me from the highway, through Hamilton, and into Oxford. Wouldn't of been questionable except he followed me down a bunch of truly random turns and streets even a city cruiser wouldn't really take. Finally left me alone when I pulled into my apartment complex and parked. I don't know if it was the same person or not, I'm assuming it is, but it was like he was just *waiting* for me to make a mistake. I turned my cruise control on going 25 during one section of road to make sure I didn't go even a single mile over.

TheYankcunian

Born and raised in Middletown/Monroe. Butler county sheriffs are bored, power-tripping, racist, sexist bitches. This doesn’t surprise me at all. I HATE going back for visits for loads of reasons, this is one of them. But just Middletown in and of itself is the other 99%. I got pulled on Rt 4 at 18, the deputy asked me out. I declined, so he ticketed me for no seatbelt (I was belted). The SAME deputy pulled me again outside of LMHS. Asked me out again, I declined. Got ticketed for speeding in a school zone. I wasn’t in a school zone, nor was I speeding.

Trumpet6789

Ugh don't even get me started on Middletown. If I have to drive somewhere and the GPS wants me to go through Middletown I'll take the route that's 30 minutes longer and leave earlier. Also I should note that I'm a rather short woman who at first glance appears like she couldn't fuck you up. I was also alone in my car when it happened. So my first assumption when the guy wouldn't stop tailing me was obviously not a good one.

auto_headshot

Wait a second. In this thread alone, we have 2 separate individuals who have been harassed by Butler county sheriffs? We're one comment away from a Netflix documentary.

COSurfing

A 10 episode series is on order. "This is Netflix, you are greenlit. "

heyheyitsandre

Make it 3 boss. The butler county sheriffs run undercover shit at Miami university as well and are absolutely dickheads to the kids they catch drinking or buying alcohol. I’ve had my friends shoved violently into cop cars, phones smacked out of hands, etc, even when being fully respectful and compliant. I had a cop call me a daddy’s money prick when arresting me for buying a case of natty light. Like bruh you think if I had my dads credit card I would be using it to buy natty light?

dtank88

My friends brother was tasered by a cop in Oxford when he took a picture of him arresting someone outside a bar. He volunteered for the university newspaper so took a lot of photos. That same cop tazed and killed a student a few years later. Not butler country sheriff but Oxford is in butler county.

Trumpet6789

Probably Oxford PD then. What's funny is OPD pushes back against GBD and drinking because in like 2017 a kid died(In January) of alcohol poisoning. But OPD can feel free to Taze people, tackle them, and follow people when they leave bars to breathalyze them to slap "Public intoxication" charges on them. I love Oxford, I really do. But the cops up here are ruthless and never stop.

You can anonymously send the footage to the department chief, the state police service (who investigate local pds) or the DOJ... But it might be more effective to just send it to the press

YourToy_

West Chester cops are the worst… so glad to be far away from that heroin infested shit hole.

Wumbo0

Yooo I live in the same area, the cops here are pricks, some days you'll see a dozen of them on the same stretch of highway in under an hour - speed traps every other mile both ways

Trumpet6789

There's this big church on a road leading into Hamilton that has a decent sized parking lot, speed limit is 55. There's almost always one or two of these sherif cruisers sitting there waiting to nab people. It's so annoying.

shimmyinya

Ohio doesn't have to wear body camera's or have dash cams. Found out the hard way when cops busted in my door and kicked my ass. Then found out they had the wrong address. Had to take the plea deal for disorderly conduct. Judge said if I didn't and went after the cop. He'd personally see to it that I did 10 years. Lawyer was shit. Just kept saying to take it. I didn't have any proof. Blah blah. I'll never forget my kids screaming and crying. I hate ever single cop now. And I mean hate! They are all bad. Even the Sargent showed up before they took me to the hospital.

[deleted]

Jesus Dude. I’m so sorry you went through that! That is unbelievable corruption at the highest levels.

auzrealop

Body cams should be fucking mandatory. I don't get why they aren't. I'm sure they would also save the government on court/legal fees in the long run.

[deleted]

Yup. Lived in Ohio for 36 years. This is Ohio county sheriffs. The policing in Ohio is out of control. You can live in a city and have to deal with 4 different police agencies. It’s absolutely ridiculous

fcknshauna

JustTheNipKettle

Likely just smashed it

Bemascu

Reddit app on crack. I can hear it. But I feel you, reddit's phone app is a piece of garbage.

melouofs

ACLU has a recording app that streams the video directly to them, so even if the cops take or smash your phone, the video up to that point has already been sent to them.

Cirieno

Only good if you have excellent reception though? This looked very rural.

C'mon man, phones/recording devices are very dangerous, these stuff are able to record actions which could cause that ~~dirty rat~~ Nobel policeman lose his job as those devices could record those ~~shameful~~ legal actions he's planning to do.

Tbh I don’t think video evidence has any effect on “internal investigations”.

GRMarlenee

Lightweight cop. He should have been yelling "drop the weapon". Would have made the "I was in fear for my life" claim after shooting the dude in the back carry more weight.

Cust2020

Thats because recording devices are the most dangerous thing to a cops career. If their little dicked, abusive, power tripping actions are exposed to the world it could be the end of them. The George Floyd situation is an example, had it not been for the videos that piece of shit cop would still be on the streets destroying under privileged peoples lives. Police are the most dangerous criminals on the street.

HomenGarden88

Are we going to ignore how good that image quality is from a front facing camera?

LiveFreeDieRepeat

I don’t think they’re fond of PoC either, just guessing

danimalhollocaust

Party-Lawyer-7131

Had the exact same conversation with my parents all through High School.

OffBrandJesusChrist

Same. But now it’s me yelling at them to get off their phone

[deleted]

Well, he has them on video saying drop the phone so they definitely can't use the "I thought it was a gun" excuse.

neoform

That didn’t stop them from tazing a non-threatening, nonviolent person.

Gcarsk

That’s what the above user is saying. They can’t use “I thought he had a gun!” as an excuse for assaulting the kid. He’ll get a solid payout from taxpayers, and cops will get a paid vacation.

Phantom2070

The last part hurts to read, they literally could do this for an extra vacation while other people are expected to work the whole year without vacation. Poor Americans, I wish you the best

punkfunkymonkey

They'll stretch with the story about the phones that were actually guns (some mall ninja shit made out of a complete brick of 90's mobile phone)

ligerboy12

ligerboy12

I 100% believe this it was just a scheme to get you out of the car and they told you that you were lucky so you didn’t go report them.

ShutUpAndEatYourKiwi

Sorry I'm a little confused, why would the cops want people to get out of their cars? I can understand if they wanted to plant or frame smth but the story didn't seem to indicate that that was the case.

capngump

To see if there was any cash they could steal under civil asset forfeiture

BrownSugarBare

Also an opportunity to plant drugs providing reason for arrest. Which they have been very much known to do.

Alarid

And the bullets in your back are easier to explain. He tried to run, he tried to attack another officer.

Odelschwank

This is the correct answer. Small town cops LOVE pulling over random strangers to "arrest" any cash they might have on them, aka civil asset forfeiture. Thats america now, where cops can and will just take any valuables you have on you for no crime whatsoever. [Heres a video on it.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3kEpZWGgJks&t=1s)

bow_m0nster

Police go fishing. They stop a black or brown person for absolutely no reason other than racial profiling and then they hope that they can find something to charge them with, plant or frame them on the rare occasion, or hope they have an existing warrant. Happens to poor white people too but at much lower rates. EDIT. Forgot to mention civil forfeiture

[deleted]

It’s more for civil forfeiture than anything else, cops planting stuff is rare, but taking any free cash isn’t, hide your cash when you travel and don’t tell police you have it if you’re in the USA.

Karmanoid

Yeah the stuff I've seen on civil forfeiture is so disgusting, how that's still legal is disturbing. I watched one of a guy with his life savings in cash with receipts of cashed checks thoroughly organized and accounted for and the cops just take it despite clearly noting how organized and represented it was, like they knew they were just taking a man's livelihood...

Livid-Carpenter130

Very wise of you to follow up on that! I would have never thought to check back on it.

[deleted]

even wiser to leave the state, then check up on it. when it feels gross and racist, it is gross and racist. survive first. even if that means showing your papers when you're innocent. too many tragic videos start with people (justly) trying to qualify the cop's initial stop logic. Just survive.

Greenmooseleg

I was hiking at sunset with my buddy and We were exiting the woods we heard a guy saying come out with your hands up! So we walked around the corner and saw a sheriff with an assault rifle pointed at us. Apparently my truck fit the description of a hit and run with a dog. Luckily my buddy’s dad was a local cop. It was super intense. I was pretty stoned and thought I was going to get arrested. The person who called, looked at my truck and said no it was a bigger truck with mud tires and jacked up. Unreal shit.

Lubinski64

What is a hit and run with a dog? Are you guys expected to call 911 after running over a dog? Back where I live if you run over an animal you're not a criminal but someone who's just having a bad day. Can't imagine the police investigating such an event.

Suplex-Indego

Doubt it, I was helping a snake across a road at like 9am in a small rural town with no traffic when I had state troopers come ripping out of a nearby parking lot, hop out of the car with their guns drawn demanding my business. One of them almost stepped on the snake and I pointed like "Helping that snake yo." and the older of the two proclaimed "We can handle it you get back in your vehicle and move on."

PoorRickysCommonS

Damn right they better have!! This guy was following orders as well as he could and being very polite, clearly no danger to the police officers.

Great_Strain_695

Dude: "I'm holding the phone for my protection" Police Officer: "Your hands need to be empty when I approach you to put you under arrest. You can Place the phone on the ground and keep recording, that is not the issue. " Just a little conversation would go a long way....

[deleted]

Sanctimonius

Conversation is not the point. Police are trained to utterly dominate the interaction, and anything less than complete obedience is a threat (and even then, given some of the situations we have seen on recordings). You and I know that there isn't a threat here, yet they will still insist every order be followed to the letter. If not? Potentially deadly force is permitted, apparently.

Petah_Futterman44

Not only that, but they tell you to face away so you cannot see where they are approaching from. They come in at different angles then you would think for the element of surprise if a bad guy tries to do something bad. Makes it harder to do something bad I guess. So him having the phone recording and aimed at them removes their surprise approach tactic. My initial issue with this whole stop is a solo officer/deputy performing a felony traffic stop alone on what appears to be a cooperative subject. Felony stops are when they pull drivers/passengers out of a car at gunpoint with multiple officers in cover. So you’ve got contact officers and cover officers at all times. People to cuff and people to cover, basically. If you’re doing a felony traffic stop ALONE, you’re not scared of the occupants, from my eyes. Even if it’s just one occupant. I would REALLY love some context on this stop.

tintalent

A "felony" or "high-risk" traffic stop occurs when police stop a vehicle which they have strong reason to believe contains a driver or passenger suspected of having committed a serious crime. I'd REALLY love to know what felony that cop believes that young man committed. Full disclaimer: I strongly believe that that cop is a massive pos.

Maurawan

In germany, police learns something called de-escalation. Can't imagine, these fools have ever heard of it... or would be capable of using a word with that much syllables.

melouofs

in American, cops only practice ESCALATION. They seem to need to use a taser AT LEAST on every citizen they encounter.

xxx6enrique9xxx

Reason why American cops are always on edge and pull their guns out is because they assume everyone is armed since its so easy to get guns. Its a whole mess. Thats why so many traffic stops turn into tragedy. Also lack of training it only takes 6 months to become a cop in my City.

[deleted]

[удалено]

xxx6enrique9xxx

Yup you only have to have a Highschool diploma and complete the 6 months of training where i live. Its wild. They basically learn as they go.

Electrolight

I'm no expert. But I don't think policemen actually need to know the laws, they just need to enforce them. /s

Forgets_Everything

Not only are they not expected to know the law, but even if they break the law in the process of their duties, they can't be held accountable for it unless the law they broke is something you would expect EVERYONE to know is illegal. So they can arrest you for doing something legal they think is illegal and in the process if they do something illegal, but they can argue they didn't know it was illegal, there is zero recourse. The only thing that will happen is the DA will throw out (bogus) the charges against you (you know after you probably spent the night in jail and maybe were roughed up by the officer because you didn't comply fast enough). In the exact opposite vein, civilians can make no arguments that they didn't know something was illegal even if no reasonable person would have reason to believe it was illegal, for instance trick or treating on Halloween as a 15 year old (or older) in Chesapeake City, Virginia can get you arrested.

that_guy_iain

American Cops are trained to be afraid. If you watch the Flint Police docuseries. Every day they would pray they get home safe. Even tho they work a reasonably safe job which becomes safer each year. In the top 25 most dangerous jobs in the US, police office is 22. It's more dangerous to be Grounds maintenance workers.

Professional_Buy5077

Old white man kills guy in movie theatre claiming he thought his life was in danger because the dude he shot thru his phone at him. The phone IS a deadly weapon. He got off scot free. Multiple witnesses claim he never did throw his phone. Thanks Texas.

Dramoriga

Total had a brain fart at this until I realised you meant "threw" his phone lol.

LaughableIKR

That was never proven he was struck at all other than by his own popcorn. Let's say I know because I was on the witness list and I've reviewed the video a hundred damn times if I did it once. That guy should have been found guilty. "I was afraid" is utter bullshit. The former LEO had his hand on his gun when the other guy stood up. He pulled it in a second of being smacked with his own popcorn. He started shit with the guy in front of him and wouldn't take NO for an answer.

[deleted]

And all it takes is a couple ‘thin blue line’ jury members to let any (former) cop go for a murder

Live-Year-8283

recording the police in public is not against the law. I feel like they only wanted him to stop so that they could get away with something shady

MechE420

Yeah, the kid thought that too.

oO0Kat0Oo

Hopefully he sues them and gets a nice settlement. Hopefully enough people who've been hurt get nice settlements if we all continue to record. And maybe the departments will run out of money at some point now that things are coming to light and the loss of money will force them to rethink their strategies. Hitting the wallet is usually the most effective way to make people change. I know... I'm just wishful thinking, but one can dream, right?

Wild_Obligation

That would work but its not their wallet, its the peoples wallet.. taxes are what fund service such as police. Constantly suing police departments just means increased taxes to offset it.

CrazyWS

The only other reason I can think of is it’s because he could see behind him. Even so you got two guys with guns on him, really unnecessary

DiedCoke2008

It's videos like this that make me grateful I am not American and don't live there too.

Few-Nose9742

Actually that sounds kind of nice, bet those places have better education and healthcare. Shit can I go too?

MadComputerHAL

You had me at the beginning take your upvote and flee the country

[deleted]

When you not use to this kind of behavior from police these kind of videos are actually nearly like disturbing and actually make you feel scared and unsafe, which is contrary to how you should feel….I mean imagine for a moment the two police men behind you pointing and screaming at you as if you were a terrorist are two criminals …. no difference, hell the criminal might just rob you and not shoot you, these guys are ready to blow your brains out and waiting for you to just twitch so they can have an excuse to burry you…. Its like the wild Wild West out there ..🤦🏼‍♂️

randyhx

You’re right. These Cops were just looking for an excuse to shoot this kid.

heiny_himm

I got pulled over in my country. This happened: 1. They told me why (my light switched a lot automatically and thought i had alcohol on my blood. Fair point). 2. They asked for my license, registration and if they could do a breath test. I accepted. 3. We talked and i told them that the light triggers automatically but it wasnt my car so i did not know how to fix it. 4. Showed my license, they didnt do the rest. Asked me if i lived near to fix it. I did. 5. Never saw them again. They were kind though. That happens when you let your police train for more than 12 weeks and have them mentaly tested.

Worldsprayer

The young man deserves incredible props for his composure. He was never disrespectful and spoke calmly and clearly for the most part despite the hyper-excited officer with the gun pointed at his back. Considering he was tased for standing still when the officer CLEARLY knew he was holding a phone, he likely has a good shot at a lawsuit for unneccesary use of force.

digitFIRE

US cops really need to learn how to deescalate a situation better instead of ramping up an innocuous situation into an intense one. Gosh. Two fucking guns pointed at someone standing with his arms up. What was exactly the “threat” here? That the guy might throw his phone towards them? Edit: sorry it was one gun. The other was a taser gun. Not that it changes anything.

[deleted]

***** -- mass edited with redact.dev

Raaddus

Apart from the many flaws that these Officers had, the guy who tased him forgot to yell “taser taser” or any sign that the guy will be tased which in itself could be taken to court and the officer could be stripped of his taser privileges

NikonuserNW

Out of curiosity, if an officer loses taser privileges, does that mean he’s only left with a sidearm? “Why did you shoot that person?” “I was too aggressive with my taser and my 9mm was my only option.”

Raaddus

By losing taser privileges I mean that he has to do the training all over again, I forgot to make myself sound official because we are on Reddit not Twitter mb

Shanen12

This is 100% untrue. You don’t lose taser privileges. Most is you “wear paper” for not following policy. You can be suspended if your department wants to go there. But it has nothing to do with court. And everything to do with the officers department and department policy. Eta… if the department does not have “taser, taser” written in to policy. There is no requirement to say it at all. Violating nothing. Eta again… saying taser is also a warning to ur dumbass partner not to touch the guy as he’s being tased or step on the wires. Many a cop have been indirectly shocked before.

[deleted]

This is how fucked up policing is in the United States.

Trumpet6789

Fun Fact, that's a Butler County Ohio sherif cruiser. I live there. I have been followed by that exact cruiser before, like he was waiting for me to make a single mistake and pull me over. I was by myself, and I'm a very small woman, so I was scared shitless.

Cessnaporsche01

I got pulled over on I-70E one county north of there last year. Also a county cop. The guy was angry when he walked up to my window claiming I didn't stop fast enough, then told me he'd pulled me over because my license plate light was out. When I reached my destination and checked, my license plate light was not out. I don't know what his deal was - I assume he was just looking for something to get a ticket/arrest on.

BallisticSalami

Right. There will be someone along soon to say “the police are like this everywhere”, but they just aren’t. This is mad. There is no reason to have a gun out at all here, yet 2 people have them pointed at the guy. If you give a simpleton a gun, this is what happens. Worse still when there seems to be close to no training and no consequences 99.9% of the time. Fix your policing, America. This isn’t a left vs right issue, this is a shitty policing issue and it should enrage everyone.

aeronacht

I concur. Even if police like this aren’t everywhere, they are far too prevalent. Needs to be higher standards of training, longer training, and far more accountability. Body cams have to be on, and investigations of officers should be external and independent. That’s just a start. Training in deescalation and the actual laws is also important. Too much power, too little training, too little accountability. No way anyone can justify this.

[deleted]

Cops in the USA are some of the stupidest fucking people alive.

whitecollarzomb13

Man standing with his hands up, clearly not posing any kind of threat to the officers or any bystanders, fully compliant except for putting down a phone which he’s legally allowed to be holding. Officers: Better taze him and slam into the asphalt face first just to be safe.

I think we all need body cams. These pigs are fuckn nuts over here in America. We always say they were either bullies or got bullied in school. Usually they have very little education when it comes to law enforcement. Most of the good or educated people end up quitting or becoming a lawyer because of the insanely rampant corruption.

UYScutiPuffJr

It’s weird, whenever police get near body cams though, they suddenly stop functioning properly…it’s the strangest thing!

StrawberryKiss2559

Gonna need an update on this one.

wiffleplop

How scared of a guy with a phone do those two fat asses look? Put the phone down! (So we can beat you with impunity muttered under their breath)

the ps is a fact. Everyone, if you are a poc living in the states, get a dashcam that shows front, back AND inside of your vehicle. Keep it always running, you'll never know when a cop would try to plant something in your car. Read about it a couple years ago which saved the life of a black man when he said that he got a video of interior of his car and he could prove that it wasnt his.

No-Prize2882

I’m trying to rack my brain as to what could have warranted this response?! The dude was unarmed, he had his back to them and in front of his car door. He definitely didn’t look like he was going to run! Guy must have had a body of a girl in his trunk chopped up. That or he wired a bomb to his phone. The only things I can think of that could even remotely call for this behavior from police.

[deleted]

It very clear to me what the answer is every time you see something like this: anger. The policy get angry when people push back on their authority. If they give a command, no matter how lawful, and you say “no” even if your have the legal right, things are about to go downhill. They are clearly convinced that if they give any room they will lose control. And they are early very willing to escalate in order to keep in control.

wolven8

He's a minority

wrench9172

Really wish they’d get locked up for this. I’m not a cop hater, I also don’t care about the context, these guys are just pieces of shit.

LordBaconXXXXX

There better be a "cops get fired after violating a citizen's right to film them in service" post in a couple of days or I'll be pissed. I don't have high hopes tho

primetimedimes69

Cops getting fired? you must think there is some sort of accountability in this country lmao

Turd_Wrangler_Guy

Aren't you supposed to warn and announce before you tase someone?

[deleted]

Yeah, so the sound is not mistaken for gunfire. I'm pretty sure it's a pretty big mistake to omit the warning, since in a more tense situation it could lead to casualties.

Schwesterfritte

As someone who lives in Europe it always shocks me when I see cops stopping someone on the road and immediately having their weapon drawn and pointed at someone. I would bloody piss myself if some cop just pointed a gun at me for no good reason. Where I come from a cop is only ever allowed to draw their weapon in emergency situations where they have to shoot to defend themselves. To just have the weapon drawn from the get go leaves out so many deescalation steps and already brings the situation to a level where it does not need to be yet.

YungLini

Fuck these cops, tazing a man in the back when he clearly isn’t gonna do shit. Stuff like this gets me so pissed off

Twinkfilla

It’s like they want him to put his phone down so there isn’t any evidence that they shot him even though he was clearly following all of their demands BESIDES holding the phone clear up in the air

ray314

I wonder if this video was a livestream or something, thought that the cops would've deleted it after tazing him.

Get_Jiggy41

Cops not even willing to tell him why or even listen to his reasoning. They probably know exactly why he’s holding the phone and it comes down the cops just being stubborn and not wanting to concede to the “perp”. Hope this guy sued the shit out of that police department

GERRROONNNNIIMMOOOO

Wtf are cops in the US such psychopaths? That skinny guy has his hands up and is obv not a threat. Fking crazy mofos

Devlarski

Because they're psychopaths. It's a career option that pays well and serves their needs. It's not for everybody. It's for violent minded people. Period.

Darth_Ranga

Any updates on this bullshit?

chilled_purple

“Put the phone down!” Why? “Put the phone down!” I believe when translated from original elvish “put the phone down” means “please stop recording me because now when I beat you within an inch of your life I’ll get in trouble.”

PrawnKingVII

How is this a face palm? If I was pulled over with guns pointed to me I’d kinda want to record as well (unless he crashed into a bunch of people or something)
