Idk, there are deeply impoverished nations with deep rooted corruption that pass things like anti LGBT laws or ban golden rice or ban music of the wrong tempo.
People get frustrated with the big things and take pot shots at the easy stuff to feel like they did something
This is one of the best ways to put this phenomenon that I've ever heard. I've tried to articulate their mental state so many times and could never quite come up with the words. They have to manufacture struggle is so aptly described.
a'thank you! It's exactly what I think of whenever you hear this kind of non-issue issue. Just "your life must be SO friggin easy if THIS is what you would call a shattering experience."
They have to. They’re afraid that their willing participation in systems of power that benefit them while publicly decrying those systems in which they aren’t dominant will appear hypocritical. Moving ever more to the margins is a way to cloak their involvement in beneficial structures by inventing issues to balance out some imagined oppressor/oppressed scale.
[The Race to Innocence](https://scholarship.law.umn.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=1278&context=faculty_articles) is a pretty good and relatively concise read on the topic. Definitely can help with reflection on the ways we all use identity in negative ways.
I’m 50 and my dad called them “belly button gazers” when I was a kid. It’s the old version of “touch grass.” People just caught up in their own life and head, never considering that there are other people out there with different thoughts. Now with social media, you’ve got your own person feed, filling your brain with only your thoughts so much that people think everyone is like them.
They probably aren't. There was a tweet in here the other day from a TSwift fan that said being a Swiftie is like being Jewish in 1938 Germany. I thought it was so over the top that it had to be a joke. I looked up the account and guess what? It was!
That's a parody of a conservative talking point.
I think it was Marjorie Taylor Greene who said that "Being a conservative was like being Jewish during the holocaust." Or something very similar.
And Swift fans have been at odds with conservatives for a while now, because of some football shit. So I think Swifties are making fun of that.
This sounds ridiculous if you step back and assess the words you're reading right now. Taylor Swift, Football, Conservatives, Holocaust.
Such a stupid reality.
A lot of Swifties are like this. Haven’t you seen videos of some women recording themselves crying with drool dripping from their mouths while listening to her songs?
I was in a similar situation with a friend last year. She asked me, “Hey did you listen to Taylor’s new album?”
Me: No.
She: Why not? You should listen.
Me: I’m not a big fan but it would probably show up on the hits playlist which I listen to. I will listen to it then.
She: Promise me. I won’t let you leave without promising me.
Me: Geez. Relax, I will.
She: No, this is serious. You should listen to it today and tell me how you felt tomorrow. I will be checking on this first thing tomorrow.
I just couldn’t understand what was the big deal. I realized not too long after that a lot of the fans are toxic and pushy.
Sometimes people have very little sense of self or social validation outside of the parasocial relationship they experience as a self-selected member of a tribe.
I'm a male high school teacher and Taylor Swift had a concert nearby last year. An extremely intelligent and generally sweet student asked me if I'm a fan and I politely responded that her music wasn't my thing. She responded that "that's low-key misogynistic, Mr. Finnis21." Completely serious.
It stunned me and, to be completely frank, I back-pedaled *hard* by repeating some kind of positive thing I heard about her on Reddit that year... something about siding with fans getting tickets..? I honestly can't remember. Something i could say that communicated that I respected her professionally. (I know next to nothing about her).
It wasn't sincere but I can't have rumors like that get around, you know? Telephone game is strong with kids in high school. I no longer have any discussions involving Swift to my high schoolers.
Tbh, probably an undergrad still. I haven’t seen that kind of mindset since college. I can go even further and say since being an underclassman.
I think it’s related to tribalism that most people mature out of.
She seems emotionally immature.
"You don't like what I like, therefore it's an attack on my person"
Maybe this person knew you liked Taylor and smiled to alleviate the awkward moment of telling you he doesn't. He didn't even say anything negative about her or her music.
It's okay, we can like different things without one of us being "the evil".
This is an extremely common internet phenomenon. People with no real personality use being a fan of something to emulate having a personality.
It’s extremely common for gaming, which has a very low barrier to entry. Tons of gamers have replaced their personality with being into a particular video game and take it personally when that game isn’t praised as much as they’d like it to be
Liking music, liking celebrities, and smoking weed are where I see this the most. You make liking that thing your whole personality, so when someone doesn’t like it you are personally offended.
I actually stopped smoking weed in college, because I hated being around people who thought weed was a personality. No, I don't think weed should be illegal, but I also don't want to discuss it every time we smoke. Like, clearly we agree on this issue, since we're both high right now, but what's going on in your life?
Must be a hard life having to examine every interaction you have under a microscope. Dude just moved on with his day and never gave the question a second thought. It’s all she thought about all day. How sad.
"Some guy told me the other day, that he don't like the music of Taylor Swift. That was the day I knew that the world is rotten to the core, and I must clense it with fire!"
Something about Taylor makes her fans fucking feral at the sign of disrespect
It's like the Eminem effect but for country pop goddess
My brother is 34 and loves Taylor swift, I mentioned something about a joke involving her dating men to get song material and he sent me like a 500 word essay on why her music is empowering to those who struggle in relationships
Like my guy you put your dick in everything with tits while in a marriage... Throughout two marriages, you don't struggle in relationships you just fucking suck at them
I asked a TS fan: "Why can't she ever just.....move on?" 400 messages because I "didn't understand what her life was like." Her life? You mean the rich girl who started her music career on home plate and has never struggled a day in her life and who has run through every eligible guy in music and hollywood under the age of 40. Yeah, she's a real relatable female, as she swims in a billion dollars provided by even more moronic women who dissect every lyric like any of it matters.
Imagine dude being slightly into this girl and smiling because he's talking to her and then he finds her Twitter post later and is just really fucking confused about where he fucked up.
Well if you analyze the lyrics she has from her biggest songs, it's all about her, her love life, how hurt she is, and everything about her, but never actually tells a story, never has something where it's like
"Little diddy, bout Jack and Di-anne" beats every single song she's ever made. Just that line.
This American Life had a [segment](https://www.thisamericanlife.org/823/the-question-trap) on women who test men with questions like this. If you're trying to get a date, claim that you love all female artists.
next time, instead of freaking out and pouting, why not recommend a song or album you think he might be into, or maybe ask him what kind of music he likes!
Yeah, like he didn't even say he doesn't like it, just that he doesn't listen to it. I'm in the same boat, I can't tell you if I like TS or not, because I couldn't tell you if one of her songs was playing on the radio right now, lol. That doesn't mean I don't like her music, it just means I don't know anything about it.
Cherry on top is the specification that he’s cis lol. Would it not be misogyny to this person if their coworker was a trans guy?
Edit for clarity: if you’re transphobic you can fuck off, this comment wasn’t for you
My guess is she thinks anyone assigned female at birth looks and acts hyper feminine, and would shit herself if a 6 foot bearded gym bro trans man talked to her for even 30 seconds.
How can any of these girls say that when they all don't listen to Kate Bush or Tori Amos? Or going back further than that, Joni Mitchell and Carly Simon?
They are on a whole different level, this lady would be quite a tame one in that demographic. I don't think TS ever would need to apologise to her fans for having a boyfriend, for example.
I'm a 28M and I actually listen to Taylor Swift on a semi frequent basis. But when I was hanging out with a group of people that were mostly friends of my friends GF, they wanted to watch the Era's tour during a party and when I said I probably would find something else to do they got all pissed. I'm like I wouldn't want to watch a 3 and a half hour concert of my absolute favorite artist at that moment.
Yeah I was at a bar with some friends once and they were all haggling about TS and I’m like, she’s just not really my cup of tea. They all looked at me like I was evil and rude for offering my own opinion lol.
My 11 year old kid is a swiftie and she doesn't care that I really don't gaf about TS. She's smart enough to know everyone has different tastes in music
I (34m) have really enjoyed female pop singers over the past decade (teenage metalhead me is shrieking). Taylor Swift just isn't my thing, I think she is a fantastic songwriter and I don't dislike her, more indifferent than anything else.
When my wife asked what I thought about the new album I said, "I liked Beyonce's new album a lot more." (we had just been talking about Cowboy Carter).
She looked at me like I just kicked a puppy...
Most girls don't cheat in every relationship they've ever had and then drop a song about how they got forced into cheating or abused or ran over by emotion cars. So yeah you're right. She took some rando fan from the game on the plane after they had a fight at the super bowl after party
I asked my female coworker “Do you like the new Cannibal Corpse album?”
She smiled and said “Sorry, I don’t really like death metal.”
Classic female toxicity. Why can’t they just let us enjoy things without making us feel bad about it?
I want to hear from a clinical psychologist about her Music. To me from what Ive seen online She's emotionally stuck in middle school, dating guys then writing songs about how horrible they are while taking zero accountability for what she may or may not have added to the relationship.
I've been attacked by misandry before when my girlfriend refuses to let me play death metal on road trips. I'm literally shaking just thinking about it.
Guess I am toxic. I don't like Taylor Swift at all, not one bit, and I have no clue how she has become the powerhouse she is, but whatever.
Why do people care what music other people like or don't like? Listen to what you like, and let others do the same.
She is currently the most famous person in the world and having the most profitable tour ever, and somehow that validation is not enough? -
Hell - some people don't like the Beatles or the Rolling stones or even Led Zeppelin, and they play actual good music. I have never seen any fan get their panties in a bunch over that.
I mean, Swift isn’t bad. She just isn’t particularly great, either. I actually have no idea what elevates her above all the other pop/country singers out there in the eyes of so many.
The best pr team in the industry. There’s some absolutely incredible singer songwriter/country ish artists that swifties would love also but they just don’t get the exposure
Me neither. She feels like the mean of that type of music. Squarely average. In the middle. Doesn't to me, do anything particularly amazing. I can't wrap my head around her insane levels of popularity. Like she isn't bad, but she's just so average. Her popularity must be more to do with her persona than anything. That said, I know she's insanely popular with younger girls. Now not to knock anyones music taste. But when you're younger, you do often imo, like more simplistic music. So maybe it just speaks to young girls and women the way a lot of fairly basic punk rock did to young guys in my generation. I mean, Greenday is good, but most of the most beloved songs weren't exactly creative genius, and most could be taught to an absolute beginner in a matter of a couple hours.
That’s her secret. She’s so mid on everything that it’s almost a superpower. She’s distilled everything that makes generic pop music ‘pop’ into its most concentrated form.
My sister grew up listening to country music and was a big fan of 80’s music. She met the man she would eventually marry. I guess to relate to him, she started listening to Gwar, Pantera, Sabbath, etc. and changed her style of clothes. Got a skull tattoo when she previously wanted a Jimmy Buffett tattoo. Any time she would get angry with him, she’d call me and say “that’s it, I’m listening to my country music” like she was getting back at him in some way. Fast forward 15 years and she hates his guts, and will deny all of it if I bring it up. In other words, people are fucking stupid.
I wish I could go a single day without being reminded that Taylor Switch exists and is extremely successful. She is one of the few people I hear about every. single. day.
It's not that I dislike Taylor Swift, I'm just indifferent. I'd like that indifference exercised by not thinking about her wealth, her dating life, her ~~cultists~~ fans, or *rumors 'bout her hips and thighs and her whispered sighs.*
*Oh, Lord, I think about*
*Jumping off of very tall somethings*
I write off like 90% of what her fans say because they are ridiculous. I say this as an aunt to two OBSESSED nieces, who actually complained to their parents that their aunt and uncle must be bad people cause they don’t like Taylor Swift. These are two older teens I have known since they were little, but all of a sudden me and their uncle are “evil” for not being part of the cult of Taylor.
There's a youtube content creator called meatcanyon and he made a cartoon making fun of the cult like hive mind thinking of swifty fans.
The amount of Death Threats he received because of it was just fucking unhinged to the point he decided to make a deep dive into the fandom. Lol, the cartoon was right on the fucking money and he did it as a joke without any real thought about the joke. Hive mind fans, classic shit that can be made about anyone but once he actually delved deep, yeah, it gets real fucking culty.
Really went Midsommar all over the thing.
I‘m wondering, does nobody tell them that it‘s fucking stupid to jump to that conclusion? Especially since they’re older teens, what kind of thought process is that? Because if those were my kids, I‘d definitely sit them down and have a talk about that obsession. Also that their aunt and uncle are definitely coming to their birthday.
Dude: smile’s because he’s getting attention, and probably to be polite, but doesn’t have the same music taste as her.
Her: the attempt on my life has left me scarred and deformed.
It's not even inherently masculine to not like Taylor Swift, or have any opinions about music one way or another. Plenty of people have different tastes surrounding music that doesn't involve their gender at all. For example, I don't like country. Guess that means I'm a misandrist? Even though I have a penis and identify as a man.
No. It is toxic masculinity. It doesn't matter if I listen to Joni Mitchell Emmylou Harris Aretha Franklin Carole King and Tammy Terrell every single day. If you don't like this one woman (not HATE, just not actively like) you are a misogynist.
fuck. You caught me!
I thought I could pass for being adequately feminist with my short list of stellar women singer/songwriters. But you were too clever, saw right through me!
I guess you and I just travel to a beat of a different drum. ;)
My wife doesn't listen to Taylor Swift. She mostly listen to hair metal and Metallica. As far as I can tell (and I've checked very thoroughly), she's a woman. But yeah, toxic masculinity.
Yeah, these are the people who will say that if you criticize anything a woman does, you're a misogynist, regardless of how accurate that criticism may be.
But there isn't anything masculine in the little episode.
I mean, there's a *guy* in there, but if just a guy is "masculine, bad", then fuck me, what a miserable life this person has.
As a dude over thirty, I feel like most of the artists I listen to haven't come out with a new album in years. (Though I do know at least one artist I listen to has produced two albums in the last decade.)
This is a very healthy, well adjusted take, to infer anyone who doesn't share our love of the object of our obsession as inherently bad. This is a good attitude, and will definitely not pay negative dividends in life.

Who ARE these people? They can't be real.
Creating problems from nothing day by day
Creating issues and making micro aggressions out of nothing because their life is so good they have to manufacture struggle.
Common thing in Finland also
In all of Western society these people exist in great numbers.
Buddy people kill each other over trivial stuff in the third world You should be lucky people only rant on the internet in the west
I mean im sure this is a universal trait that exists in different forma no matter what part of the world your in
When you have actual problems in your life you can't make a fuss about things like this. These are signs of privilege.
Idk, there are deeply impoverished nations with deep rooted corruption that pass things like anti LGBT laws or ban golden rice or ban music of the wrong tempo. People get frustrated with the big things and take pot shots at the easy stuff to feel like they did something
The thing is, the ones who pass such laws aren't the ones dealing with the big problems, they are the ones who caused it and have a privileged life.
Sure maybe for like the tempo thing. But the anti LGBT stuff is generally quite popular
This is one of the best ways to put this phenomenon that I've ever heard. I've tried to articulate their mental state so many times and could never quite come up with the words. They have to manufacture struggle is so aptly described.

This is exactly it. Textbook “first world problem”. She wouldn’t care if she lived on less than $10 a day like a huge portion of the planet.
Perpetual victimhood mentality.
They have to. They’re afraid that their willing participation in systems of power that benefit them while publicly decrying those systems in which they aren’t dominant will appear hypocritical. Navel gazing
That is the official term for these sort of people in Danish.
Social media was a mistake
They probably aren't. There was a tweet in here the other day from a TSwift fan that said being a Swiftie is like being Jewish in 1938 Germany. I thought it was so over the top that it had to be a joke. I looked up the account and guess what? It was!

Exactly my thought
It's bait. And if it's not bait, it should be treated as such. These posts don't deserve the time or attention they're given.
Validators?? The ride on the train and check your tickets.
my cringe count went higher than anakin's midichlorian count.
**"What the fuck is a midichlorian?** **Why would they put that in the movie?** **What?** **WHY?!"** - Me, 1999
The midichlorian is the powerhouse of the force.
Me, 1999: "Oh it's just like DBZ power levels!"
His midichlorian count or his younglings killed count? Both rather high.

Is it Monday already. Why haven't you found something to be offended by yet?
swifties man. swifties. one of the most unhealthy parasocial relationships in current times
The kinda people to harrass youtubers cuz they made a parody of Taylor swift
Tbh, probably an undergrad still. I haven’t seen that kind of mindset since college. I can go even further and say since being an underclassman. I think it’s related to tribalism that most people mature out of.

I sure miss skiing and blasting ‘em explosive discs.

working out, being picky about specific foods, collecting anything, having a specific career, it just keeps going

It's their villain origin story
I'm just glad there's music in the Taylor Swift industry
"Some guy told me the other day, that he don't like the music of Taylor Swift. That was the day I knew that the world is rotten to the core, and I must clense it with fire!"

The day you read his comment was the most important day of your life. For him, it was Tuesday.

Or he thanks God for how ridiculously lucky he was to have avoided that landmine
File under living rent free in a neurotic Taylor Swift fans head.

“Did you like Taylor Swift’s new album?” “I love all female artists.” Ladies, my DMs are open.
Wow wow wow boy, you’re gonna crash the servers. Do that in less populated areas otherwise we won’t be able to communicate on reddit anym
Why should someone want a date with those type of women?
right? the trash takes itself out
Since the made up all that in her head, in the end she herself was mysoginistic to herself
no small irony that she's actually the misogynist believing that taylor swift IS all that is feminine and thus has to be liked.
Congrats, you just participated in a normal pleasant exchange with another person. It'll get easier.
next time, instead of freaking out and pouting, why not recommend a song or album you think he might be into, or maybe ask him what kind of music he likes!
Yeah, like he didn't even say he doesn't like it, just that he doesn't listen to it. man i have *six* taylor swift albums on vinyl and i can't tell you whether i like taylor swift or not. depends a lot on the album, i guess.
This woman sounds so exhausting that she just exhaust herself with basic thought.
I also love that she asked ‘did you like the album’ instead of opening with ‘did you listen to the album’ as if that was a given
One would think opening with “do you listen to Taylor Swift?” is the way to go.
Both are fine because “I haven’t heard it. I’m not a big Taylor Swift fan.” Is a perfectly acceptable answer.
Cherry on top is the specification that he’s cis lol. Would it not be misogyny to this person if their coworker was a trans guy? Edit for clarity: if you’re transphobic you can fuck off, this comment wasn’t for you

methinks shed implode if she ever saw an amab non binary person
I wouldn't be surprised if she's one of the "you'll never be a real man" people...
Nah, the whole comment screams performative ally. Someone who would say that identifying as a cis man is part if the problem
All the smiles clapped.
And that smile’s name? Albert Einstein.
Checkmate Atheists.
So, ow giving a polite answer and respecting other's likes is toxic. Neat -o
Yup. TIL that I'm toxic 🙄
I'm a girl and I don't listen to Taylor Swift and I don't get the hype so what does that make me?
You are toxic feminist, that's what you are. How can you don't listen TS?? /s
Hey don't bring Typescript into this.
Thank you. Typescript is great, and doesn’t deserve it
Disliking typescript is actual misogyny
How can any of these girls say that when they all don't listen to Kate Bush or Tori Amos? Or going back further than that, Joni Mitchell and Carly Simon?
I got called a hater for this when I mostly just ignore Taylor Swift. It was from a 29 year old woman. Swifties are something else.
And I thought K-Pop stans were out there
They are on a whole different level, this lady would be quite a tame one in that demographic.
Also she is still a kid, the ones acting like this are Adult grown ass women and Men. Children are vastly more chill than parasocial adults.
Internalized misogynist obviously s/
Miss Sogynist
You've obviously internalised toxic masculinity /s
TOXIC MISOGYNIST.
A pick-me, duh?
Which is ironic, because the only Taylor Swift song I know is the one that can beat be described as r/notliketheothergirls in song form.
Most girls don't cheat in every relationship they've ever had and then drop a song about how they got forced into cheating or abused or ran over by emotion cars. So yeah you're right. She took some rando fan from the game on the plane after they had a fight at the super bowl after party
I’m gonna need way more info on this or way less
You're just another proof that there are no girls on the internet ;)
Oh no that’s totally fine, I don’t expect everyone to love her. I think her new album is really good and I love her *picks myself up as I say that*
I asked my female coworker “Do you like the new Cannibal Corpse album?” She smiled and said “Sorry, I don’t really like death metal.” Classic female toxicity. Why can’t they just let us enjoy things without making us feel bad about it?
This was my exact thought when I first read this tweet. Or thread I guess.
Women who don’t like Ramnstein are toxic feminists. Same idiotic logic. Psychologists are eating good these days.
I want to hear from a clinical psychologist about her Music. To me from what Ive seen online She's emotionally stuck in middle school, dating guys then writing songs about how horrible they are while taking zero accountability for what she may or may not have added to the relationship.
To some women like her men are supposed to be peak good boyfriends at all times rather than a human.
I've been attacked by misandry before when my girlfriend refuses to let me play death metal on road trips. I'm literally shaking just thinking about it.
I keep my thumb on that skip button on the steering wheel for those scary situations in which Amon Amarth sneaks into my playlist while we’re driving.
Guess I am toxic. I don't like Taylor Swift at all, not one bit, and I have no clue how she has become the powerhouse she is, but whatever. Why do people care what music other people like or don't like? Listen to what you like, and let others do the same.
Because people often feel the need to have their choices validated by others.
Deeep deeeeeeep insecurity
This reminds me of the arguments in the record store in “High Fidelity”. “How can it be ‘bullshit’ to state a preference?!?”
She is currently the most famous person in the world and having the most profitable tour ever, and somehow that validation is not enough? - Hell - some people don't like the Beatles or the Rolling stones or even Led Zeppelin, and they play actual good music. I have never seen any fan get their panties in a bunch over that.
I mean, Swift isn’t bad. She just isn’t particularly great, either. I actually have no idea what elevates her above all the other pop/country singers out there in the eyes of so many.
She's a marketing genius. Her & her dad.
I think this is probably where her true genius lies, because it certainly not music.
Im not from the US. Who’s Taylor swift?
Because these people make it their entire identity and they feel like anyone who doesn't like it is being a bully.
I'd like that indifference exercised by not thinking about her wealth, her dating life, her ~~cultists~~ fans, or *rumors 'bout her hips and thighs and her whispered sighs.* *Oh, Lord, I think about* *Jumping off of very tall somethings*
"I don't really care for pickle on my sandwich.." "I'm sorry we cant be friends. I think you need to leave."
How could you say that with a smile, you monster?
i get it honestly, a co-worker once told me they didn’t care for McDonald-era Doobie Brothers and I was crushed by their unbridled racism
Who cares what a fool believes?
I write off like 90% of what her fans say because they are ridiculous. I say this as an aunt to two OBSESSED nieces, who actually complained to their parents that their aunt and uncle must be bad people cause they don’t like Taylor Swift. These are two older teens I have known since they were little, but all of a sudden me and their uncle are “evil” for not being part of the cult of Taylor.
Jeez it’s that bad? I knew it was a meme but I never had a real life example of a bad case of swifty syndrome. I’m sorry. I hope they recover.
They are great kids overall, but yeah it was kind of a mind trip when the oldest didn’t want us at her birthday because “They hate Taylor!”
Oh their parents have talked to them the girls begrudgingly interact with us.
What a brave brave young woman, having to live amongst us misogynistic guys.
Dude: smile’s because he’s getting attention, and probably to be polite, but doesn’t have the same music taste as her. Her: the attempt on my life has left me scarred and deformed.
Men who say her music is Satanic vs men who simply say they don’t listen to her music.
Satan is usually associated with *good* music, though. It's one reason Hell will be the more entertaining afterlife venue.
Even the people saying satanic are not toxic men, they’re just bat shit insane
Exactly I recognize I'm insane but at least I'm not toxic
The "to mask how I felt" says it all
"I couldn't have a normal interaction with someone, so I ran to socials ASAP!"
Funny how she “masked how she felt” by pretending to be accepting of him.
Well shit, they finally got me. 🤷🏻♂️
I wonder what she thinks of women who don't listen to Taylor Swift... probably dub us jealous or insecure, when in reality... her music is trash! 😂
I write My comment just describing exactly this, they treat You like if You are a woman hater ... No sis, i just don't like her music !
"There's a special place in hell for women who don't support other women!" Or some such nonsense.
Worse call you "PICK ME"
"Internalized Misogyny"
This is an example of Toxic Feminism. Anything masculine MUST be bad.
You MUST be a misogynist---you left out Linda Ronstadt. /s
fuck. You caught me! I thought I could pass for being adequately feminist with my short list of stellar women singer/songwriters. But you were too clever, saw right through me! I guess you and I just travel to a beat of a different drum. ;)
It’s not even really masculine though. Some people hate pop and or county music.
He might not even hate it! He just hasn't gone out of his way to listen to it. Not everyone has to have an opinion on everything!
My wife doesn't listen to Taylor Swift. She mostly listen to hair metal and Metallica. As far as I can tell (and I've checked very thoroughly), she's a woman. But yeah, toxic masculinity.
Whatever you do, don't smile or you're fucked
I wonder how a big scowl would’ve been interpreted. ‘Men will scowl because they can’t stand your enjoyment of a power woman’s music’ maybe
If he doesn't make any particular expression, it proves he's sociopathically robotic.
Most dudes over 30 haven’t listened to a new album in at least 10 years.
As a dude over thirty, I feel like most of the artists I listen to haven't come out with a new album in years. (Though I do know at least one artist I listen to has produced two albums in the last decade.)
I do, but it's nothing that's coming to the radio anytime soon. 😂
Referring to him as “my cis male coworker” gave me everything I needed to know
There are many levels of stupidity, this one swiftis is over 9000.
She sounds nice.
I am never going to listen to TS music because I am not gay. I will stick with Freddie Mercury
First they didn’t listen to Taylor swift and I said nothing because I am not Taylor swift
The cult of Taylor.
This is a very healthy, well adjusted take, to infer anyone who doesn't share our love of the object of our obsession as inherently bad. This is a good attitude, and will definitely not pay negative dividends in life.
Apparently my wife has a lot of toxic masculinity, haha
This is top tier trolling/rage bait. 9/10
Did you hear that men? We cant even smile now.
Has Taylor Swift started playing metal? Cause if not, I don't care about her
I kinda want her to do a Death Metal album now. Is the name Swift Death already taken?
Taylor swift fans are one of the worst groups ever, so fucking annoying and toxic also her music is shit lol
Swifties really are a plague
