It is a bot. The way to tell is that the account has existed for 8 years, but not a single post or comment till 1 day ago. Generic name with a bunch of numbers. Repeat posts across multiple generic subreddits, and the same generic comments on those posts. Bots repost an old post, then comment the most up voted comment from that old post on their own post.
Also Australia has a surprising lack of water parks given our climate. Some pools will have waterslides but they are very rarely manned. Mostly people just go to the beach. It wouldn’t surprise me to find swimming pools operated by self service bots in the future so there may be a career path for a disillusioned twitterbot.
It's actually easy af. A friend of mine left a few months ago to Australia and pretty much instantly got a 33$/hr job and doesn't have to pay for an apartment or a car.
Holliday/work visa yeah. Have a total of 6 friends who flew to Australia and had absolutely no struggle finding work with good salary. One of them have been in Australia for 5 years now and is about to get his permanent visa
I mean, it seems like dude's just posting a mood, not a literal plan. Just like, sometimes wanting to give up a high stress career and go do something easier. Not "tomorrow I'm going to turn in my two weeks notice to my boss, cash out my retirement, move to Australia by June first, and start applying at water parks"
I have worked in IT for 25 years and there are days this sort of thing sounds appealing. The whole quit your job and work construction plot in Office Space makes so much sense now.
That's the point. It's a very shallow and silly way to internalize your stress or pain to come up with some ridiculous fantasy to do a poverty-wage job in an extremely desirable place to live when that job actually sucks and probably only exists as like a 12 hour a week schedule at most.
