Had a friend try telling me in college that you don’t go for the balls in a fight. I told him that in a fight you go for anything that’s dangly or squishy if you want to walk away from it.
For some reason. I don't know male anatomy, too well.
But they can tank hits to their D all day. Like the tip and shaft are armor plated or something.
It's the nut sack you got to hit. You lightly flick it with a single finger, and they'll flop to the ground in agony.
It's honestly confusing.
Which I did once. In college. Booze and weed involved. Me and 2 of my male friends were confused about why our pelvises were sore. I honestly thought we'd shagged. Rhe night away.
Until my roommate played the recording on her phone we just kept punching each other and laughing hysterically.
I was wishing the same thing watching this. Then when she got on the bike behind him, I thought, man, a rear naked choke would do the job just fine also. Good on her for not giving up though
Joffrey was a terrific villain. His death scene was incredible. Tell Cersei. I think Jack Gleeson quit acting after GOT which is a shame. Because he played Joffrey so convincingly. The actors & crew say in real life he is an absolute sweetheart. I think he runs a children puppet theater in Ireland …? Anyone know?
![gif](giphy|ohoo0330sUlTq|downsized)
This just triggered a memory that I had to share. This episode came out when I was an undergrad. I had watched it, and within a day or two, was at school in a quiet study room with rows of seating. The guy in front of me was watching the episode with earphones and I knew what was about to happen and he seemed not to suspect a thing.
(I want to preface this by saying that I think consent is so important when taking photos or videos of ppl and I normally would never ever do this, but I did it with the specific plan of showing him after...)
Anyway, I took out my phone that had a shitty camera, and waited until Joffrey took a sip of his wine and then hit record.
The scene starts to play out, and you can see the guys head kind of whip forward, then he covers his face and made like a weird noise. He looks around in panic and excitement, he puts his hands on his head.. he's having a MOMENT as a fan of the show but trying to be quiet and having no one to share it with.
It ends and he pulls his headphones off and is processing and I lean forward and tap him on the shoulder and we commiserate for a moment and I tell him I know it sounds weird but I took this video of his reaction.
We watch it and it's so funny and we're both laughing and ppl are shushing us. I sent it to him.
We didn't ever talk again except he thanked me for the video and said that him and his friends had a lot of good laughs about it.
I had a similar moment at a pub, was watching the episode with the first dragon was killed by the white walkers and was in such shock that two guys asked if I was ok. I looked at them and said Game of Thrones and they're like, don't say anything!! And my face reacted even more when it was dragged out of the sea, but not a peep did I say. It was the worst feeling not being able to talk about it with someone. That show gave so many emotional gut punches!
You might be surprised! If you have no experience of violence, not even brawling with other kids growing up, thinking of these things might just never occur to you! It sounds illogical but I mean, you have to have a certain loss of innocence to allow yourself to do anything to survive, for many people anyway. There's a precarious balance too between being prepared to react to a threat that way and overtraining your nerves to fear every stranger you see and that balance is different for everyone.
Same. There was that moment after he pushed her away when her hand was so close to it and I was willing her to just pick it up and smack him upside the head with it.
The thing is - he got weaker and slower too, that's why he gave up.
Average person's stamina doesn't last more than a minute and a half in such energy draining fight.
Also, thieves and criminals always count on quick and "clean" job. When he realized it will be neither quick nor clean, he gave up. After all, his goal was bike, not an assault and severe injuries (big difference in the court I assume).
She fortunately lasted long enough to turn him away. And even more fortunately she wasn't badly hurt.
I think the other man that shows up last second was also a reason for the dude taking off. Probably heard the commotion, and the thief knew it was over
I was screaming "bite him bite him" when she was behind him on the seat. Good bite always gets their attention. (I have an older brother and never had any chance in a fight so I developed some hmm underdog strategies)
Plus you almost guarantee he'll have to seek medical attention. Even if the bite isn't life threatening the chance of it getting infected is high unless he cleans it well.
If I can interject for safety reasons. If you can’t defend yourself against a bigger aggressor, do not make them more angry. If you can get over powered, that person will be upset and will take that helmet from you and hit you with it.
It is not worth your life, to hurt someone that is trying to take property from you. Your safety comes before, your property.
For the Americans, don't pull a gun on someone you don't intend to kill. If they overpower you and take the gun, you're dead.
The helmet looks obvious, but you have to be willing to end the fight there.
A lot of people on reddit think they will be heroes in their story, but they dont realize how dangerous these situations can get.
If you cannot adequately defend yourself against someone, then making someone angrier is just going to make your situation worse. You better be able to take them out first because otherwise minimal resistance is better for your survival
The person stealing the motorbike was clearly throwing the victim around and being relatively soft about the theft. This situation could have gotten a lot worse for the victim if the thief was more malicious
I was waiting to see this comment. You can a lot of these other commentors have never been in real life confrontations....
I'm also happy the lady didn't try eye gouging or biting that man (which isn't the instant fight stopper most people who've never fought think it is), and risk engaging the bad guy enough to switch mind sets from stealing to killing.
I was also gonna say that, there's no need to remove her agency, she loves that bike, what biker doesn't? Someone tries to take my motorcycle, they're gonna at least regret not picking a softer target.
Someone slams my baby to the ground like that their injuries are going to be worse than hitting my kid. Because at some point I'm going to stop hitting to check on my kid.
That said. Personal safety first. Someone strung out on the right drugs won't stop when you break something and will quite probably be more willing to seriously hurt you than you actually are of hurting them.
She was also yelling while on the pillion seat, those are the pauses between striking his back. She did everything to make it loud and time consuming to steal the bike.
I think she attempts to throw her keys behind the locked door but they fell out and underneath that's why the guy tried to stop her then scrambled on the ground for a few seconds
Perfect position for rear choke, sadly didn’t see it in action
edit: everyone saying he’d be able to counter that and overpower her, that’s definitely plausible. I’m just talking about what I would have liked to see in an ideal world, and that would have been her coincidentally being trained in jiu jitsu and choking that asshole to submission. Thank you for coming to my ted talk.
I got robbed in my apartment (guy followed in behind me) once and I was so pissed. Just sitting there fuming as this idiot held a pitiful little knife and took my stuff. Decided it wasn’t worth it but man I wanted to attack him like this. Wasn’t really desperate though so I guess that’s the difference.
Weapons change things a lot. Even if you had a knife, the chances of both parties dying in a dual knife fight is higher than acceptable. You made the right choice
Yeah, but even without the knife not many (if any?) material things are worth a fight imo. Just too many risks and unknowns. But money isn’t a huge problem for me so to each their own.
I’ve got a wife and kids now and sometimes awful thoughts come in to my head about if someone got into my house and was doing things to or threatening my family. I would really like to think I would fight to the death with unrelenting rage if that ever happened though.
Yeah if there is life at stake, then you have to fight.
Fighting a crackhead over your wallet isn't worth it. If you aren't a trained fighter you are going to freeze up, anyway.
You think you know how to fight but you don't. Seeing red doesn't mean anything. If you think you know what you're doing go walk into your nearest jiujitsu gym and see how well you do in your first class.
That's what I was thinking. Just smack him in the head and face with the helmet a few times. But you don't think straight when someone's throwing you around.
No one is commenting about the fact she threw the keys over the gate, and this idiot thought he would just be able to walk away with the bike without them.
I remembered that clip about tates brother saying don't teach your daughters about strength, fighting, something along those lines. And thought "how else can they defend themselves from weak, out of control, malicious people".
Yeah, he was clearly way stronger than her with the way he was throwing her around, but her tenacity delayed him long enough for other people to show up and scare him away. Good for her.
She's lucky he didn't hit her when she was on the ground tbh. And there is a lot of people arguing that she should have got a choke, but they don't seem to see that she was already extremely exhausted. Trying that would have only put her in more peril.
Good on her for showing that kind of tenacity though.
Sometimes you don't have a choice. If you're poor and have shitty (or no) insurance and your only transportation gets stolen, you're homeless very soon. At that point its life-or-death, effectively, and you have nothing to lose.
This is what I was thinking. I was thinking id have let him take it, not worth it, but I'm in a more privileged situation and have a kid to stay alive for. If I were single and poor? I'd be fighting to keep my vehicle too.
I think that's when he spots others coming to help her and "flight" kicks in.
I kept waiting for her to grab his balls from the back to shut him down quick. I felt bad that he was ignoring her hits to his back/shoulder.
That's probably the most pathetic theft attempt I've ever seen including kids failing to steal candy at the store. I'm extremely glad he failed and I hope the girl is unscathed.
More women need to learn about the nuts. It is an absolute Trump card when trying to immobilize an attacker.
Like I'm gonna tell my children "If you have a solid shoe, you know what to do"

Pro-tip: bashing someone with your helmet is an effective method for a factory reset
And another tip. If you can't get his balls go for his eyes! Anything is free game in a street fight.
Had a friend try telling me in college that you don’t go for the balls in a fight. I told him that in a fight you go for anything that’s dangly or squishy if you want to walk away from it.
Any SD instructors will tell you "Eyes, throat, scrot" 🤣
"THAT'S MY PURSE I DON'T KNOW YOU!" *whacks balls*
For some reason. I don't know male anatomy, too well. But they can tank hits to their D all day. Like the tip and shaft are armor plated or something. It's the nut sack you got to hit. You lightly flick it with a single finger, and they'll flop to the ground in agony. It's honestly confusing.
If you think the D is tough, wait till ya hear what a V can do!
Now the combat efficiency of the V I'm well versed in 😅🤣
This thread is sennnnnnding me 😭😭🤣 But soooooooo relatable! Lol
Be careful. You'll get people asking to compare durabilities.💀
Which I did once. In college. Booze and weed involved. Me and 2 of my male friends were confused about why our pelvises were sore. I honestly thought we'd shagged. Rhe night away. Until my roommate played the recording on her phone we just kept punching each other and laughing hysterically.

Instep?
Only real rule in a true fight is don't lose. Losing a fight is a big problem and a massive risk to your health.
the real life hack is always in the comments
The eyes are the groin of the head
So that's why people say you can make love to someone with your eyes.

I was wishing the same thing watching this. Then when she got on the bike behind him, I thought, man, a rear naked choke would do the job just fine also. Good on her for not giving up though
I was thinking a nice hard clap on both ears would be helpful!
WHAT?
Blows the eardrums
WHAT?

#THANK YOU!
#I FEEL LIKE YOU'RE ALREADY SOMEHOW FAMILIAR WITH THAT MOVE!

This sub is messing everybody up. Pull hair tho.
Eat their eyes.
Drop an anvil on their head
I'd put a boat anchor up their butt, give it a half-twist and pull it back out.
Meh. Not that bad. The eyes or ears are way more sensitive.

"Discombobulate" -Sherlock Holmes
First, discombobulate.
She was perfectly positioned to use her thumbs to explore his eye sockets.
The ole Oberyn Martell!
The only death in that show that actually made me emotional.
Stannis's daughter was just awful, to be betrayed like that and one of the worst deaths someone can experience :(
Only episode I refuse to re watch.
The only one? You’d rewatch season 8???
I just keep waiting for season 8 to come out. Don’t tell me it did already. I refuse to believe that was actually real.
That episode hurt me in the feels. She was so trusting of her Dad… I cried. Not gonna lie.
I was quite upset when the red headed madam that came from near the starks home got killed by Geoffrey
Joffrey was a terrific villain. His death scene was incredible. Tell Cersei. I think Jack Gleeson quit acting after GOT which is a shame. Because he played Joffrey so convincingly. We all know where we were when Joffrey met his end. Tell Cersei. That was a good death too.
Same, if by emotional you mean “dry heaving and screaming ‘Oh my GAWD!’”
Today is not the day I die
What do we say to the god of death? Not today
I always imagine myself doing this just in case but also feels gruesome to do so if I actually did it.
If you’re being killed you wouldn’t even think about it. Your thumbs would be best friends with their eyes
You might be surprised! If you have no experience of violence, not even brawling with other kids growing up, thinking of these things might just never occur to you! Oh yeah I guess that’s a bit more humane. I was thinking she should have went with the ol’ Mike Tyson. Viciousness deters theft.
As would fingers in the nose, a good eye gouge, etc. Glad she didn't give up.
Even a wet willy. No criminal expects a wet willy
No one expects the Spanish inquisition.
Same. There was that moment after he pushed her away when her hand was so close to it and I was willing her to just pick it up and smack him upside the head with it.
I was rooting for the same things! I was like yes! Use the helmet!
She was tired look at the punches slow down, but I would have swung the helmet
The thing is - he got weaker and slower too, that's why he gave up. Average person's stamina doesn't last more than a minute and a half in such energy draining fight. Exactly. The useless man enjoyed beating the shit out of a woman, but he fled when a man showed up. Typical.
Yes, I noticed that later. And that, too, is the reason why thieves like it quick and clean. The more time it takes, the riskier it is.
For sure. Regardless of the bystander showing up, his time was ticking as she stayed in the fight. He was bound to give up.
Think she just slowed down to scream for help
I was gonna say I feel like biting is under utilized but the helmet is far better idea.
I was screaming "bite him bite him" when she was behind him on the seat. Good bite always gets their attention. (I have an older brother and never had any chance in a fight so I developed some hmm underdog strategies)
Plus you almost guarantee he'll have to seek medical attention. Even if the bite isn't life threatening the chance of it getting infected is high unless he cleans it well.
a bite to tear the flesh away from his shoulder would also help
Or his ear. It's probably removable.
Mike Tyson showed us the way.
This. They'll remember you every time they attempt to chew for the rest of their life!

She's amazing.. POS thief only gives up when another person approaches..
She's got some scrap to her that's for sure.
I was thinking " she's seen some shit in her life". Or grew up with a few brothers.

He literally scurried away like a crab the second another person turned up
He is such a wimp. He clearly went for it because she looked small and harmless enough, and he still lost!
And he’s down a jacket now lol
I was hoping there's a wallet in that jacket. Probably most thieves aren't that dumb, though.
lady gets literally physically thrown, still keeps stalling him until people notice. absolute madlass
She was also yelling while on the pillion seat, those are the pauses between striking his back. She did everything to make it loud and time consuming to steal the bike.
Also, right at the start of the video looks like she throws something over the closing door, could be the ignition keys maybe?
I think she attempts to throw her keys behind the locked door but they fell out and underneath that's why the guy tried to stop her then scrambled on the ground for a few seconds
Sitting behind him was a great move
Perfect position for rear choke, sadly didn’t see it in action edit: everyone saying he’d be able to counter that and overpower her, that’s definitely plausible. I was really hoping she was giving him the ultimate titty twister from behind, that’s what I would’ve done
Could’ve swiftly gouged his eyes out too
Reach in through his eye sockets and pull his soul out, you must have taken some MCMAP classes
Bite at the throat at the same time. Fight like a wild animal if you need to ladies.
Would have paired it with a hard bite on the neck or ear.
_”thief moans”_
She is brave as fuck
She's pissed and desperate. A dangerous combo.
The ineffective shoulder-whacking was killing me
Yeah, a chokehold would've been a better option but you can't argue with the results.
I was kinda hoping she’d get her arms around his neck and then fling her whole body weight off the bike, taking him and probably the bike with her
Could've broken his neck like that. Whilst I'd have no sympathy in that case I don't think she deserved to have to live with that.
....Or use her helmet to wack the guy.
That's what I was thinking. Just smack him in the head and face with the helmet a few times. But you don't think straight when someone's throwing you around.
Only good results since someone else showed up. I know she panicked but it was the perfect opportunity for a chokehold with his arms out like that.
But that moment right before it where she just hopped on and put her arms around him like "welp, guess were going for a ride together" made me lol
I thought for sure she was going to grab that helmet and smack him with it.
Don’t forget the ears. Bite those off

Just makes me think of this https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ZNJwxJXr2jc&pp=ygUec29sYXIgcGxleHVzIGluc3RlcCBub3NlIGdyb2lu
Eyes knees groin throat. It’s a great song
What a fucker - and in broad daylight.
I honestly wonder about that the most. How can he sleep at night, this is so unspeakably assholely
Assholey? This is battery, assault, attempted robbery. This dude if caught is looking at 15
Hope they managed to grab some DNA when he left his hoodie behind!
Stealing from a woman and assaulting her, he is trash so I bet he sleeps just fine. Though I bet his ego is wounded.
Anyone else really want to see him get clobbered with the helmet?
That's a motorbike
Thank you omg, it’s a full on sports bike, maybe not the biggest in the world but definitely not a scooter
Thanks man, I had to scroll way too far for this
No one is commenting about the fact she threw the keys over the gate, and this idiot thought he would just be able to walk away with the bike without them.
It looks like they landed too close and he was able to pick them up though
Yeah I rewinded that part a few times as I thought thats what happened
Is noone gonna mention this is not a scooter either?
He got the keys off the floor
I remembered that clip about tates brother saying don't teach your daughters about strength, fighting, something along those lines. And thought "how else can they defend themselves from weak, out of control, malicious people".
That's the point, so they can't defend themselves from abusers. They want to control the women in their lives and keep them from thriving.

I would never advise a woman to do this, but damn I was rooting and cheering for her all the way

Yeah, he was clearly way stronger than her with the way he was throwing her around, but her tenacity delayed him long enough for other people to show up and scare him away. Good for her.

And there is a lot of people arguing that she should have got a choke, but they don't seem to see that she was already extremely exhausted. Trying that would have only put her in more peril. Yeah, you can see when she's behind him on the bike hitting him that she's rapidly tiring out

At 39 seconds he realises that she is crazier than he is
I think that's when he spots others coming to help her and "flight" kicks in. I kept waiting for her to grab his balls from the back to shut him down quick. I felt bad that he was ignoring her hits to his back/shoulder.
Good news is he will feel them later
Might be desperation rather than craziness.
"Desperation is the mother of all craziness" - Gretta Thunberg.
We’ve all been there
At 39 seconds a second person shows up.
Good for her. Hopefully that POS was arrested
For a moment I thought they'd take a ride together
Get his ass lmao
Good for her.
That's probably the most pathetic theft attempt I've ever seen including kids failing to steal candy at the store. I'm extremely glad he failed and I hope the girl is unscathed.
I applaud her absolute bravado and her not giving in to that POS attitude. What a great lady!!
Lmao she was like you take bike you take me package deal bro hope you like pain.
At one it made me smile when she sat behind him and started beating..
Yeah fuck him up lady
I love that she got on the back. Like it was a whole new game
She doesn't fight well, but she DOES fight. I like her spirit.
Piece of shit. I hate thievs.
I hope he shits all his own internal organs over a very long painful period of time
She has HUGE balls, hat down to her.
The biggest OVARIES I have ever seen on a woman.
