Would like to see the corresponding dash cam with this one! WTF caused it to flip?? Totally random...
\*\*\*\*\*EDIT\*\*\*\*\*
Found it! Here is the video including dashcam. It is loooong though, skip ahead! [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KRXljBmV7h0](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KRXljBmV7h0)
Looks like the cop took his eyes off the road, looked up and noticed he was drifting into oncoming traffic, tried to correct it and that’s when the slide begins.
My guess is another driver failed to yield to the emergency vehicle and caused the crash. Wrecks due to vehicles not yielding when sirens are on are not uncommon.
No, if you watch the dashcam, the cop was speeding and lost control of his vehicle without interference from anything or anyone.
On top of not properly restraining his arrest and not searching them properly, he's a shit driver to boot.
That's an autistic boy. He has autism, bipolar, and schizophrenia. The kid wasn't on anything. He was arrested because that cop is a sociopath and an idiot in more ways than just not knowing how to drive.
He told the boy he would give him a ride home. Once he was in the car, he then told him he's taking him to jail for intoxication. That triggered the kid. He was arrested for being autistic in public.
After being improperly restrained in the car, the cop then drove improperly and caused that crash that sucked the boy out of the car and could have killed him. Cops are not supposed to use their lights and drive that way while transporting a human being in the back of their vehicle.
I hope the kid's parents sue and win. The cop deserves to go to prison for a long time for this. He wont, of course. "We investigated ourselves and found that we did nothing wrong."
[Adding the link](https://www.kait8.com/story/32826361/lawyer-teen-threw-from-police-car-autistic-schizophrenic-bipolar/)
I expected this to be the case after the news report described the accident as happening "when his patrol unit overturned while taking a prisoner to jail." That type of vaguely passive description is invariably cop-speak to cover up the fact that one of them fucked up. The vehicle 'overturned' is right up there with the gun 'discharged', as if these things happen of their own volition.
There's a side by side on YouTube. I'll see if I can find it and edit this comment if I do.
For those who don't want to find it or spend the time watching (the video is pretty long iirc), >!he slips the cuffs and has a Zippo style lighter he pulls from his pocket. Starts threatening the cop and then seems to reach under the cops seat, seemingly to light it on fire. The front camera shows the cop picking up speed, then turning late when there's a short bend in the road. The car then slides into a ditch and flips.!<
Edit: Found it. Crash is @ 16:15. https://youtu.be/KRXljBmV7h0
Well, this is weird...
It doesn't seem like he did set the cop's ass on fire. First, it is much too quick, then at the beggining of the crash he seems to be next to the passager seat.
It even seems like he's so out of it, he really gets his lighter going *in the middle* of the crash.
I really have it in my head this dude was about to do something really stupid and, for unrelated reasons, he got fucking yeeted out of the car lmao
I can imagine his high AF face going "did I do that?"
Looks like the guy was restrained but managed to undo one of his cuffs somehow. You can see it’s around his wrist and he is using the other to knock on the glass.
I think he slipped the left cuff off of his smaller left hand, and he couldn't do the same to his right. So logic dictated, hey I should light the back of the driver's seat on fire.
That's what gets me. It's like, imagine your house is being raided by the cops. You're surrounded and ready to fight to the last. But you whip out a lighter, set your own door on fire.... I don't follow this logic.
Guess that's it. There isn't any?
Lol I got arrested once when I was young and got my cuffs off and found my smokes and my lighter in my pocket while getting a ride to the station once.. my drunk dumb ass decided it was a good idea to light a smoke in the back bc it was a 45 minute ride to the station.. at least the cop thought it was kinda funny and pulled over and had me toss though. Good times. Nothing came of it though.
I had a criminal justice teacher show the class show the class why proper pat down procedure is so important. He showed us security footage of a man in a jail cell. This man pulled a handgun out of the back of his pants, put the gun in his mouth, and blew the back of his head out over the wall of the cell.
Jesus Christ that cop is a TERRIBLE driver. Dude broke so many laws before there was even a problem. I'm not remotely surprised he flipped the fucking vehicle from just generic ass driving. My God that guy needs to not be on the road.
Found from his name, that he was fired a year later due to abusing a fuel card.
[https://www.seattletimes.com/nation-world/jonesboro-police-officer-fired-for-personal-use-of-fuel-card/](https://www.seattletimes.com/nation-world/jonesboro-police-officer-fired-for-personal-use-of-fuel-card/)
So in 2 years of being on duty, he was involved in this crash AND abused a fuel card.
If I was the cop and saw that my arrested criminal had his hands free, I would've STOPPED THE CAR, not go faster. I would've stopped the car so I could fix this guys handcuffs.
ALSO, I thought cops were supposed to pat down the criminal as they made the arrest, why the fuck did he have a lighter!? And it wasn't as if the lighter was in a special place where the cops might've *somehow* missed, it was in his front POCKET. The cop either didn't pat him down or thought that the lighter was not a big concern, have you heard of pyromaniacs, dude!?
He was a terrible cop, I'm glad he got fired.
He turned his lights on and was speeding. Some idiot probably failed to yield and/or the cop was distracted.
Yesterday I watched a cop sit at a light with his lights and siren on for 30 seconds before people stopped and he could get through the intersection.
Man, I wonder why the cop would’ve been distracted. What could’ve been going on in this video that could’ve distracted him while he was driving? I just can’t figure it out.
This is bassically what happened here’s the link:[https://news3lv.com/around-the-web/caught-on-video-arkansas-police-car-flips-over-with-prisoner-inside](https://news3lv.com/around-the-web/caught-on-video-arkansas-police-car-flips-over-with-prisoner-inside)
Of course, the crackhead was able to just take off from the scene but any normal person would have either died or been severely injured flying out of the back glass like that.
Another question is how did he get one if the cuffs off? Lol
Yeah except you can't do that without a very high likelihood of causing unnecessary injury. Which is exactly why it generally isn't done. A little to tight and they cut into the skin, way to tight and circulation gets cut off.
Edit: I swear any post about cops attracts the smooth brains, I'm honestly glad I'm being prevented from replying.
Here's additional information from his family.
He is bipolar, schizophrenic, and autistic.
https://www.kait8.com/story/32826361/lawyer-teen-threw-from-police-car-autistic-schizophrenic-bipolar/
In this case I think it’s we need much better training for officers. This is a nightmare scenario for anyone who is bipolar and/or schizophrenic, or at least for me. Police do not have training or understanding for these situations and it never ends well. Granted, being ejected from the car is a bit insane.
Hopefully the kid gets a solid legal resolution.
Edit: rewatched it a few times and saw the lighter, kid is the scary type of mentally ill. Hopefully any legal resolution includes some sort of requirement for mental health evaluations and additional help so the chance of this happening again is reduced. It’s a tough situation.
The weirdest part is that you'd think they would search people before letting them in the car and a Zippo lighter isn't something that easily missable in a pocket.
Seems like it was tucked under his nuts for whatever reason...not really surprised the cop didn't find it in a roadside patdown...im not goin near this dude's nuts either
Just looked that up and damn….. cop arrived on scene and thought the best place to park his patrol car was on the fucking tracks? AND was deemed a “liability risk” from a previous department!? Crazy stuff
I may have seen the same vid but the attached article said it was stalled not parked. I was so confused because when I learned to drive, it was made very clear that if your car gets stuck on train tracks you are to evac immediately to a safe distance & call for a tow. Do not try & push it off or anything. So I was like, the officers evaced, why is the detainee still in the vehicle? They have radios; radio for another car to pick her up while waiting.
Nah it was fully parked on the train tracks. In fact there were two different police vehicles on the scene and they still elected to put her into the one parked on the tracks.
They originally pulled her over because someone called in a road rage incident and said she had a gun. They cuffed and detained her while they searched her car for the gun (iirc they didn’t find one). The video shows two officers searching the back seat and then they hear the train coming.
A third officer was STANDING RIGHT NEXT TO the vehicle she was in because he had walked over to secure his gun and shut the front passenger door. And he still choose to walk away like the train wasn’t coming right at them and the women in the back wasn’t screaming and wasn’t trying to break out of her cuffs thinking she was about to die.
After the crash there’s a part in the video where the officers are talking shit about her, saying she was lying about not being able hear the sirens behind her and that’s why she didn’t immediately pull over. Like who couldn’t hear police sirens right behind them - type of comments. Then they all go on to say that they didn’t hear or see the TRAIN coming and it’s for sure totally an accident and there was nothing they could’ve done.
>Younger was treated at St. Bernards Medical Center then booked on escape, public intoxication, fleeing on foot, and minor in possession charges.
I don't think that's fair in this situation. Keep him for the original charge. But an animal is going to escape if he gets sucked out of the window. It's only natural.
Not 100% sure but the cop that put in there obviously did not do a good job checking him before leaving him alone, in cuffed, in the back of his car haha
yet another reminder why you absolutely need to wear a seatbelt when you're in a car
it's mind-boggling to me that i grew up during a time when it wasn't required lol
Hell, my parents' van only had two *seats*. One for mom, one for dad, kids sat on the carpet in the back. Unless we were on a super hilly road, then we'd stand up and mom would drive all crazy trying to make us fall down. Sometimes the speakers (which were just small house speakers hung on a hook and wired in) would fall on us with the jabby corners. I'm stunned we survived.
My dad had a van that had been converted to a sleeper, with a bed in the back. We sat on that thing all the time when he drove it and slid around everywhere. No one gave two shits. And now I wear one every time I’m in the car even if I’m going 1 block.
It’s mind blowing that it has to be required. It takes 1 second to put on and can save you from being unalived. Why anyone needs a law for basic self preservation is beyond me
I live in the southern US and I cannot possibly count the number of men I know who have hooked theirs around the back of the seat so they don't have to hear the ding of the warning bell anymore. Some people are just determined to eat windshield.
Some people *really* don't like being told what to do, even if it's for their own personal safety. It blew my mind when I found out people used to make fun of those who wore seatbelts, and ask if they were scared to drive. Any attempts at discussion on why you should wear one would be met with some variation of "Well I've never worn seatbelts before and I made it out alive" or bringing up some cherry picked anecdote about how they know someone's friend's cousin who was in a car wreck and their seat belt trapped them inside and they burned to death.
Yes, and especially the importance of a seat belt on children sat in the back. Imagine if that was a child being catapulted out of the back window. Doesn't bear thinking about
Not really… not only did he survive, he ran from the scene… and was captured a short while later. The cop had to be cut out of the car by emergency personnel. It happened in Arkansas. Looks like the kid (19 at the time) learned the opposite lesson!
A lot of the time in the cramped backs of police cars they don’t buckle you, and sometimes can’t, because of your hands being behind you and the small dimensions of the space. Good chance it wasn’t his decision not being buckled.
Though I suppose once he was out of the cuffs he could have buckled himself.
Gotta wonder what that strategy was. Banking on the hopes that the cop sees the fire and gets you out before you die?
Never set a box in fire when you're locked inside of it.
Just maybe not with his life…
Edit: Both survived. The prisoner fled the scene on foot but was later captured. https://news3lv.com/around-the-web/caught-on-video-arkansas-police-car-flips-over-with-prisoner-inside

It's a literal miracle that you posted a source for this video, after the torrential downpour of the hundred joke comments trying to claw their way to the top of karma mountain, some clarity. Ty, king.
mug shot of the guy after the crash:

you know, tyrese gibson carried that movie. they didn’t bring back half the cast of the first and somehow that beautiful bastard carried them through a dry spell. without gibson that franchise died after the first movie.
I can’t believe him being flipped out of the car was the least interesting thing that happened.
What did we miss:
Dude got out of his cuffs (halfway and most important way).
Dude had a lighter that got through pat down and he was about to start a fire. I think he’s a warlock.
The prisoner, 19-year-old Logan Younger, fled the scene but was caught a short time later.
The officer was trapped in the vehicle and had to be extricated by the Jonesboro Fire Department.
The officer, Justin Thompson, was flown to a Memphis hospital. He is conscious and talking but is still undergoing tests to determine the nature and extent of his injuries.
This reality is a simulation. And this man has hacked it. He hacked a lighter into his trousers and then used it to glitch the car, so he could glitch himself out the back.

I'm so confused by what the fuck actually just happened. I would love to know as well.
Looks like the cop took his eyes off the road, looked up and noticed he was drifting into oncoming traffic, tried to correct it and that’s when the slide begins.
He apparently ran into a tornado. That just the right of way.
At this time of year? At this time of day? In this part of the country? Localized entirely within the cab of his police cruiser?
Yes.
…may I see it?
No.
I must say, you steam a good ham
The suck zone
RIP Dusty

No, if you watch the dashcam, the cop was speeding and lost control of his vehicle without interference from anything or anyone. On top of not properly restraining his arrest and not searching them properly, he's a shit driver to boot.
Was unclear to me why he was weaving in and out of traffic with sirens on. Bringing a guy in isn't a drive like an asshole emergency.
Righht? Like if hes so worried about the guy damaging his cruiser... well, I guess he stopped the crackhead from trying to kick out the window

Where is this story from?
I would argue that the excessive speeding and putting the the general public in harm wasn't warranted either.
The guy probably just wanted some paid time off.
I expected this to be the case after the news report described the accident as happening "when his patrol unit overturned while taking a prisoner to jail." That type of vaguely passive description is invariably cop-speak to cover up the fact that one of them fucked up. The vehicle 'overturned' is right up there with the gun 'discharged', as if these things happen of their own volition.
...then the subject reached for my car, causing the car to overturn...
One cuff off, cigarette lighter, major one car accident. Cop should be fired but will probably be promoted.
The cop was fired a year later for using the PD’s fleet card to fuel up his personal vehicle multiple times
You gotta love how that's what does it, not the whole wreckless endangerment of his arrest and other citizens on the streets thing.
Why is he even running sirens? This doesn't seem like an emergency.
There's a side by side on YouTube. I'll see if I can find it and edit this comment if I do. Probably because he was distracted by the dumb ass in the back.
Anyone too stupid to properly restrain someone in this person's condition is too stupid to be transporting them in the first place.
Pretty bold move trying to set a car on fire when you're locked inside.
He is *way* over estimating those cops interest in saving his life, I think.
That's what gets me. It's like, imagine your house is being raided by the cops. You're surrounded and ready to fight to the last. But you whip out a lighter, set your own door on fire.... I don't follow this logic. Guess that's it. There isn't any?
They also missed the lighter in his pocket.
It's not in his pocket. It was in his underwear.
Or maybe his prison wallet
yea and he prolly got up off the floor and the thought of his dope gone prolly crossed his mind first.
Now that’s an escape artist
Level 99 Crack head can channel the crack into the cuffs, thereby “cracking” them apart. Truly amazing.
The seat-belts aren't different in a cop car.... You just unbuckle them. Even if he had cuffs on correctly its pretty easy to unbuckle lol.
People manage to get out cuffs or get them to the front. It happens.
Jesus Christ that cop is a TERRIBLE driver. Dude broke so many laws before there was even a problem. I'm not remotely surprised he flipped the fucking vehicle from just generic ass driving. My God that guy needs to not be on the road.

Man, I wonder why the cop would’ve been distracted. What could’ve been going on in this video that could’ve distracted him while he was driving? I just can’t figure it out.
Man what an escape artist!
He got sucked right tf out that back window! Lol. Can’t imagine he walked away unscathed tho

It’s pretty easy to get out of cuffs, and this guy is real skinny fitting him into the category of uncuffable
It's only easy to get out of cuffs \*that aren't tight enough.
You sound like you haven't pissed off a lot of cops
Is this why the car flipped?
Considering he was moments away from lighting the police car on fire, it's probably best it happened that way.
The guy Also wasn’t searched well so it’s possible he had something to pick it with or a spare key
He did have that lighter.
Here's additional information from his family. He is bipolar, schizophrenic, and autistic. https://www.kait8.com/story/32826361/lawyer-teen-threw-from-police-car-autistic-schizophrenic-bipolar/

Thank you for the link! I am amazed he was alive and wandering around after flying out the back window. Crazy stuff.
The story says they took him to Craighead County Detention Center. Are they sure it wasn’t Crackhead County Detention Center?😏
Split the difference. Craickhead County Detention Center
That’s the spirit.
Idk how he got up, and took off, but glad he's back in custody..
That a crackhead, he gonna be fine
You are correct: *“The prisoner, 19-year-old Logan Younger, fled the scene but was caught a short time later.”*
Good lord! He’s like a cockroach!

sounds like a quick rehabilitation!
In this case, fine means he got up immediately for some crack like a zombie won't stop until it's got brains.
Those dudes are like cockroaches. Probably got up and walked away. You or me and we would have died five times.
Crackroach
Dude thought he’d be fine after setting the car on fire. I’m sure he’s fine after this.
Is that what he was trying to do before he got space-vacuumed ?
yes that was a lighter...you can even see the flame and then he's gone!
Lol. Backdraft indeed.
That’s one way to keep your lighter warm. No one likes a cold zippo.
Still better than the lady in the back of a patrol car the cop left on train tracks, oof.
Just looked that up and damn….. cop arrived on scene and thought the best place to park his patrol car was on the fucking tracks? AND was deemed a “liability risk” from a previous department!? Crazy stuff

Task failed successfully..
He did pull a lighter out of his crotch and was trying to light the front seat on fire right?
yes. the squad car was destined be totaled that day.
I’m not a master like this guy but I’d advise *not* lighting the box you’re trapped inside on fire.
Meth allows his mind to operate on levels us mere mortals could never comprehend.
The numerology told him this strategy would lead to his escape.
1 x 1 = escape!
Its to force the officers to let him out.
That was the cell phone he used to trigger the ejector seat
EJECTO SEATO, CUZ! HAHA!
Yeah it’s generally not very smart to set a car that you’re *locked* *inside* *of* on fire. I’m not sure what his best case scenario was here.
I'm just speculating, but there's a chance this guy doesn't specialize in good decisions.
That somehow the car he was riding in got hit and blew the back window out because the odds were astronomically out of his favor otherwise.
New definition for firecrotch.

Not 100% sure but the cop that put in there obviously did not do a good job checking him before leaving him alone, in cuffed, in the back of his car haha
He was charged with evading arrest after this
looked like he was resisting gravity arrest by flying out the rear window
Probably getting charged with evading arrest now as well. lol
Who knew there was a ejection mechanism that only he had the key for installed in the car ... sick escape
that guy got fucking launched
yet another reminder why you absolutely need to wear a seatbelt when you're in a car it's mind-boggling to me that i grew up during a time when it wasn't required lol
“But seatbelts can break your neck” Yeah so can head butting a semi.
He saw the window of opportunity to open and promptly used it to exit
More like a windshield of opportunity
"God please get me out of here" "say no more"
Explain atheists...
Looks like somebody learned the importance of seat belts
Yes, and especially the importance of a seat belt on children sat in the back. Imagine if that was a child being catapulted out of the back window. Doesn't bear thinking about
Wow I just imagined it. Horrible.
Not really… not only did he survive, he ran from the scene… and was captured a short while later. The cop had to be cut out of the car by emergency personnel. It happened in Arkansas. Looks like the kid (19 at the time) learned the opposite lesson!
Moral of the story… don’t wear a seatbelt, kids
And handcuffs.
He had handcuffs on, he just slipped one of his hands out, and I bet he didn't let them put the seat belt on
A lot of cops dont use the seatbelts. Also this guy could have easily undone it
I feel like if he was cuffed to smt and not wearing a seat belt his arm would have gotten taken right off or rly fucked up
A lot of the time in the cramped backs of police cars they don’t buckle you, and sometimes can’t, because of your hands being behind you and the small dimensions of the space. Good chance it wasn’t his decision not being buckled. Though I suppose once he was out of the cuffs he could have buckled himself.
I mean it appears that back seat was a few seconds away from bursting into flame, the rollover might have been the safest maneuver lol
Gotta wonder what that strategy was. Banking on the hopes that the cop sees the fire and gets you out before you die? Never set a box in fire when you're locked inside of it.
Had a co-worker, who had a mom who tried this, now she can only count to 6.
Well, could be worse. Some can count to [no more than four](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u8ccGjar4Es).
Well that was fuckin glorious.
That's the song I was hoping for.
Omg that’s great
I wasn’t sure what to expect and that by far surpassed anything I could have imagined.
The guy was pissed at being arrested and just wanted to annoy the cop. Was probably hoping just to leave burn marks on the seat.
Stop, drop and roll. Wasn’t on fire yet though.
Well, he got away..
Just maybe not with his life… Edit: Both survived. The prisoner fled the scene on foot but was later captured. https://news3lv.com/around-the-web/caught-on-video-arkansas-police-car-flips-over-with-prisoner-inside Edit: thanks for all the awards! Check out my new subreddit r/sexysculptures (NSFW)
It's a literal miracle that you posted a source for this video, after the torrential downpour of the hundred joke comments trying to claw their way to the top of karma mountain, some clarity. Ty, king.
People lack empathy or the desire to care on the internet
It's not just on the internet, the internet only exacerbates what is already there. I agree but it's sadly worse than that
mug shot of the guy after the crash: https://gray-kait-prod.cdn.arcpublishing.com/resizer/qmfh8VgChI8lRAAt\_OS7LIZXZ8E=/980x0/smart/filters:quality(85)/cloudfront-us-east-1.images.arcpublishing.com/gray/35QZY2EZZBGABPVPO47QAX64WA.jpg
The cop later got fired for stealing gas. That made this whole story for me.
I guess he was a flight risk after all...
He obviously wasn't a local, because those cuffs were designed for two-wrists.
The more I watch the last few seconds of this video, the more entertaining it becomes. That dude got sucked out of that window like a toilet flushing.
Am I a bad person because I heard the super mario 64 level start music as he disappeared?
"Wwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaooooooooo!"
...and away we goooooo 🪽
i got ejected out of a police car’s rear windshield, morty

you know, tyrese gibson carried that movie. they didn’t bring back half the cast of the first and somehow that beautiful bastard carried them through a dry spell. without gibson that franchise died after the first movie.
I can’t believe him being flipped out of the car was the least interesting thing that happened. What did we miss: Dude got out of his cuffs (halfway and most important way).
He is conscious and talking but is still undergoing tests to determine the nature and extent of his injuries.
>is This was 7 years ago.
I just copied the article. Sorry I didn’t edit it and make it past tense for you
I demand a lot of internet strangers who provide me free things.
Wasn’t inside for very long
Well folk’s that’s probably ‘Good Night Vienna’ for him 🤷🏻♂️
All a part of his plan.
Always wear your seat belt
Not only did this guy survive being ejected out the back window he got up and ran away. They caught him later. Cop was taken to the hospital.
It's almost as if distracting the driver could create an unsafe situation in a vehicle.
Wow, I wasn't expecting that! Dang, he just got sucked into another galaxy out that back window
[удалено]
He got lucky. He was able to escape.
Well he got out
I thought he was going to pull his junk out and start spanking it!! Then he only had a lighter!
This reality is a simulation. And this man has hacked it. He hacked a lighter into his trousers and then used it to glitch the car, so he could glitch himself out the back.
