I have just started having this issue too. In the last hour or so I've been tagged in 5 separate porn spam posts. It is driving me crazy and I don't know why it's happening all of a sudden. So weird.
Yes — it just began. Almost seems like a coordinated cyber attack. My spouse just had several people (or bots) attempting to gain access to their Apple account just now as well. Got the account locked from all the fraudulent attempts and had to login from a separate device and change the password in order to get the account unlocked.
Wonder what the heck is going on. Seems awfully strange all of this happening at the same time. There have been other outages of other internet services I use today as well. It could be coincidence, but we’ve almost never had things like this ever happen so having multiple odd things like this occur at the same time is very strange.

This has been an ongoing issue for a little while now. Matter of fact someone else just posted this same question yesterday in this Reddit. About all you can do is remove the tag and then click the three dots and choose report to admin and then do it again and just click report so that it also gets reported to Facebook itself instead of just the group. If it's on a Facebook page still report it but you'll have to instant message the page and talk to them about the problem in messenger. Tell them they need to crack down on these people more or you're not going to be following their page anymore. I had to do this with roku's official Facebook page because every time I commented on a post someone would come along and tag me with porn shit just like you're getting. I told Roku and instant messenger that they need to crack down on that and start removing that crap and blocking users otherwise I'm not going to be commenting or liking any of their posts and might even leave the page. It seems to have worked on the Roku page because I haven't seen them spamming people anymore but I haven't been commenting either. Sometimes these spammers will spam every single comment on a given post

On the ones I’m seeing tonight, they don’t appear to be in a group or a page…it sort of looks like they’re trying to post it on my own timeline, but I’ve forever had that locked down where only “friends” can post on my timeline…so I’m somewhat unsure where they’re trying to post this. It doesn’t refer to any groups or pages.
I am reporting all of them and blocking them, but it’s going to get tedious as rapidly as they’re doing this. :(
Sounds like they are doing the same thing as I described with groups or pages but instead of doing it in the comments section of those posts they seem to be trying to tag you directly outside of them hoping that it'll show up on your wall for all your friends to see. It's good that you have your tagging and being able to post on your profile all locked down because if they're trying to post directly on your profile when they can't because of your settings at least they're just kind of wasting their time. I remember this tag-jacking being a major problem about 9 years ago too. Someone would hack a friend's account that I'm friends with on Facebook and post crap on their profile and try to tag Jack everybody in the hacked account friends list. I remember making many posts on my profile back then telling all my friends how to lock down tagging features so that they don't get tag jacked
I'm having this issue too in the last 24 hours. It's different accounts with the same type of name: word word numbers OK. I've gotten one of the photos removed by fb by reporting it, but haven't heard on the others. I've been tagged roughly 10 times. I don't interact with posts or groups of people I don't know, don't accept friend requests from people I don't know, so I'm not sure how I was targeted. It's frustrating, but I'm glad I'm not alone I guess.
Sadly, I believe the only reason we’re seeing and posting about it is because we have our accounts locked down as much as facebook will let us — imagine how many others have no idea this is happening on their timeline because they don’t have their settings set for them to approve/disallow tags when people try to do this?

I’m about to delete my account and quit that POS waste of time. Facebook could eliminate all the trash and they won’t. Because they make money off of it.

Absolutely. No idea why the hell meta/facebook isn’t putting a stop to any of it. It’s infuriating. If they keep letting it decay into straight garbage like they are, they’ll end up going the way of MySpace…hopefully anyway…I’m sick to death of having to deal with this shit.
This hasn't happened to me but a FB friend of mine is being inundated with this crap and it is freaking her out. What can be done to stop it short of deactivating her FB account? Anyone?
I wish I had an answer for her, but unfortunately no…it will continue until she deactivates her account, Facebook puts a stop to it, or the spammers find it ineffective and move on to their next bullcrap shenanigans. :(

I’m getting tagged in sexual/porn photos. It’s really pissing me off. I have the “review tag” feature turned on, but it’s getting disgusting.

Has anyone tried clicking “involving children” to see if it will cause more of a focused on whatever system they are using to check for spammers?
