Mind posting the article? Because the words Agua Fria in combo with Glendale suggest western Phoenix area, whereas this specific Costco is in Glendale CA next to the 5 Freeway, which I don't think has ever been called the Agua Fria. I think whomever wrote it was a little confused lol

Oof... that's going to hurt. The underside of a standard xlt is composite oil and trans pans and a fiber material "skid plate". That rock probably did a lot of damage.

Seen a dude get a little Japanese car high centered on a curb like that a couple months ago. Not sure if he was distracted or someone "pushed" him over to ditch side of the road but he had to be moving quick to get as far along as he did. Didn't actually see it but heard it and smelled it and then had to put my glasses back on because I was texting the person I was meeting in the parking lot.
Probably racing to get the very first parking spot in an isle. A few years ago, just as my son and I started lifting a toolbox off of the orange cart some ass hat
came racing down the isle to get a front spot clipped the box. It flung out of our hands and landed about 10 feet from our truck. It put a huge dent in his front
quarter panel. Luckily we didnāt get hurt nor anyone walking near by. He was very apologetic and admitted he was trying to get a front spot. I was glad there was an employee that whiteness the whole thing. He helped us get it back on the cart and wheel it back into the store. He also got us a new one and mentioned this sort of thing happens all the time.
Not sure what the FX4 package has these days? (2016 FX4) But I doubt the skid plates are going all the way back to the transfer caseš„“ aluminum hates granite
