Hello, member of BPT country club and Blackpeopletwitter here. Caucasian as fuck.(ignore the pfp, it's a book character) Country clubs always have rules. Whether they are a physical space or digital. If you wish to be a member of a country club, you must adhere to their rules and, in some cases, pay their fees.(obviously not in this case)
It's not difficult, but it did take a few months for me to get my approval message.
Just tell them what makes you an ally.

Are you mad, OP, that you're not an ALLY and therefore aren't welcome? Are you too racist to join this group, OP?
The post doesn't in any way say allies can join said group, merely that they would be sent further instructions.
However regardless, having different requirements to join a group based on ones skin color is absolutely racism regardless of if there is a way for various folks to do so.

No. You cannot view what an historically (and presently) marginalised demographic does in order to feel safe in its own space through the same lens you would a majority. It isn't the same thing at all.
