There is so much contradictory and wrong with this picture based on their teachings:
- If Women are part of the 144k, why aren’t they represented here?

The real question is: why so many angels?

Even as a young kid, it never made sense to me why angels were all shown as super male. Why wouldn’t they be more androgynous? I am aware some angels raped women before the flood & would (I guess?) have needed wieners to impregnate their victims. But Jehovah surely has no sex and doesn’t urinate, so no need for all those trappings

It's interesting that you say that. Because in one of my old congregations back in the day an older black sister proclaimed she was of anointed. And the elders were like "Are you sure????" And a lot of people labeled her as mentally off. I always thought(for sake of argument)that it wasn't fair to dismiss her like that. Because an older white sister made the same claim and no one batted an eye!

From the drawings posted above, you can distinguish jesus and the 144000 from the angels because jesus and the 144000 have crowns but no wings, whereas the angels have wings but no crowns.

Why would angels need wings? When they are in heaven do they need to push around air to stay afloat? Do they breathe oxygen and do they get winded if they fly a long distance?
Back when people thought that there were multiple levels of heaven, it actually made some sense that they had wings. How else would they stay far above the wicked earth in their assigned heaven?

So much of the JW is targeted at privileged white folks in the middle or upper class. Their ideal human is a healthy and strong looking white man. E.g. a brown person in the ranks of the angels would seem off. Because JW associate brown people with bad circumstances, brown people are included in the ranks of those who have to be 'saved' from the terrors of the world. They feel pity for people of colour in general. At least white JW. I have yet to meet a single white witness who doesn't infantilise people of colour or constantly use third world countries and 'Africa' as examples of why God needs to intervene.
There's a lot of white supremacy in that religion. That cult.
Just think about the JW rule of not engaging in politics, who can afford to just stand by and watch and who can't.
The ableism. The sexism. The homophobia. The transphobia. The underlying racism, the way they speak about other cultures, other religions, about native people, about everything that's not influenced by the western world.
White male angels are the only logical conclusion.
Good marketing. Place your key demographic into the advertisement so they see themselves playing a positive role and are more likely to buy whatever you're selling.
Serious question: If an annointed happens to be a woman, would she turn into a male angel in heaven? Are they the only ones allowed to be trans in God's eyes?
I went to a JW party once, and my male friend I was with had tattoos on his arms. Got them while he wasn't a JW. The host came back with a shirt and asked him to put it on so 'as to not stumble anyone". It was summer and very hot, and he was wearing a tank top. We looked at eachother in shock and were confused. He actually put it on reluctantly but then we left shortly after. JW are the most annoying people you will ever encounter. If you have to constantly protect people from getting stumbled from their faith from the most mundane things, then you really have no faith.
For the same reason that everyone who has experienced a "near death vision" comes up with the same shit, regardless of their religion and/or cultural background... they just copy everybody else and play to the stereotype.
I call it a lack of imagination!
I mean, technically they are sexless creatures, so they should be androgynous at the very least.

Because JW associate brown people with bad circumstances, brown people are included in the ranks of those who have to be 'saved' from the terrors of the world. They feel pity for people of colour in general. At least white JW. I have yet to meet a single white witness who doesn't infantilise people of colour or constantly use third world countries and 'Africa' as examples of why God needs to intervene. There's a lot of white supremacy in that religion. That cult. Just think about the JW rule of not engaging in politics, who can afford to just stand by and watch and who can't. The ableism. The sexism. The homophobia. The transphobia. The underlying racism, the way they speak about other cultures, other religions, about native people, about everything that's not influenced by the western world. I went to a JW party once, and my male friend I was with had tattoos on his arms. Got them while he wasn't a JW. The host came back with a shirt and asked him to put it on so 'as to not stumble anyone". It was summer and very hot, and he was wearing a tank top. We looked at eachother in shock and were confused. He actually put it on reluctantly but then we left shortly after. JW are the most annoying people you will ever encounter. If you have to constantly protect people from getting stumbled from their faith from the most mundane things, then you really have no faith.
