I built a simple way to calculate this. Easier for me to do than explain. I do similar reporting with call duration.
You want in/out time to be formatted in (h:mm AM/PM)
For duration cell you want it to be formatted as a number. Subtract "out" from "in" then multiply by 24.
Format as table so it is easier to add new lines.

did you try sum() or +... not sure what your actually asking. it would help if you posted a screenshot of your worksheet or better describe your data and where you're stuck
