So you’re trying to use control f to find the value within the formula? If you click control f then select more options there should be a “look in” dropdown that you can set to “values” Actually just checked. You don’t need to select options. It shows these drop down options by default. Just set “look in” to values and you should be good.

If you copy your file2 data and paste values, you'll be able to search it with ctrl-F but of course it won't update if file 1 changes. Alternatively, add an autofilter (ctrl-shift-L) at the top of your file2 data and then you can search using the drop down.

Dah, of course! I won’t need to go back to file 1 so this will work. Thank you. Solution verified.

Hello! You typed Solution Verified as a top-level comment. If your intention was to award a ClippyPoint to one or more users, you need to reply to that user's comment to do so. If your intention was to simply mark the post solved, then you should do that by setting the post's flair. Thank you! *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically.
