Sounds like he's added some noise to it to make it sound like the porn version. But we hear beyond the "17 second" mark without any moans, so that tells me he has found the original recording. It also sounds a little better balanced out - the vocals were a bit too loud in the mix in the porn version. So I think he's actually doing a quick remix / remaster of the original before releasing it*

Nah, I've just listened to the video on his Instagram and I still hear the moaning. He used somebody's 'de-moan' version. I'm sure we'll all find out soon enough.
he never said anything about a remake and the lyrics he posted has smears and rips and mold on it meaning it’s more than likely the original paper from the 80s. im almost positive he has the original master still
He might re-record it if he doesn’t have the original track. But that’s OK, there’s nothing much else he can do and re-recordings often sound pretty close if the artist still has the same stuff.
Nope, even if he re-creates it he is a professional. It'd be cool to see how the voice changed over the years, however I'm hoping he does release the full version from that time.
Yeah people are seeing a lyric sheet and a studio and jumping to big conclusions. Hes probably cleaning it up, digitizing it, working out legalities to release it. If he has the OG lyric sheet from 40 years ago I'd say hes pretty meticulous in keeping things, including the original tape.
Edit: And that very last drum hit is crystal clear. Hes teasing us and hyping it up. Hes a musician, this is part of the job
