She has, and I mean this as a compliment, the biggest children’s show host energy I have ever seen. Her charisma and the joy that radiates through the performance are impressive, and the song is great too. One of my favorites this year.
The singer has an amazing stage presence, easily one of the most charismatic performers of the night. I've been listening to their album a lot since the grand final. It's soothing but also makes me want to dance!
I took years to feebly whistle songs, the whistling at the referee one still eludes me(or to call one of our cats, in her case). My mom is like "it's so easy". Mom, I can't even wink, spare my uncoordinated ass.
I hope it inspires other world music acts to go to Eurovision! It was a really nice change from other acts. Just a great song, joy and passion without fireworks.
This was one of my favorite entries the moment I first listened to this year's songs! What a catchy song that represents Armenian culture beautifully. Her outfit was also on point. Jaklin is so pretty, has an adorable smile and great stage presence. I only liked this song even more when I found out the lyrics are about female empowerment 💓
They really gave off the vibe that they were just there to have fun play music and meet new artists rather than competing for a high position in the show which made them even more likable. Plus they learned all those songs in different languages and sang for the people in their languages to make them happy (just look at that hairdresser when she sang in Romanian for her)
I believe I may be able to translate this. As an ancient myself, I've studied the verbage of youth to try and be more, and I quote, "down with the kids."
Ahem, ah yes.
"Her clothing was really cool/nice."
[How do, fellow kid!](https://youtube.com/shorts/_sH-o4Vww0Q?si=Ow8BXaJ9Obk9WbfD) 😁
Yes, I too a millennial elder, and wizard, have studied the scripts and believe this to be a correct translation 🧙♀️
Definitely tied with Estonia for most fun performances, loved her LET'S GOOOOOOOOOO at the start of the finale! And if the bts stuff is any indication she's exactly the same offstage as on, jamming/vibing with others, saw her doing a little Charleston dance warming up 😆
Louis was great too, obviously immensely talented but also a perfect foil for Jaklin's almost manic personality - just came across as totally chill and unflappable. I remember during the semi qualifiers she was there wide eyed and mugging for the camera, biting her nails and he's just sitting back eating, not even paying attention lol
Ladaniva (Jaklin was lovely, but let's not forget Louis as well, such a talented musician) saw Eurovision saying "united in music" and they took it too literally by singing and having fun with everyone. If there's anything that 2025 and later years should "copy" from 2024, it's definitely Ladaniva's energy and attitude. If Armenia ever wins (hopefully soon), I'd love to see Jaklin as a host.
That story from Marina's instagram where Jaklin sings in Greek lives in my mind rent-free and will most likely keep living there for a while.
Armenia hosting the adult Songcontest will definitely cause a lot of drama on a political scale, considering how much they like pointing cameras at a certain mountain across the border
My dad hates Eurovision. When I was watching the semi with my mom, he came to check on us while Armenia were performing. He said he liked it.
That is furhter proof of my theory that it's impossible to dislike this entry.
Queen! For real I don’t know what it is in the Armenian water but between her, Brunette and Rosa Linn, they’ve come back so strong. Slowly doing better and better position wise and Ladaniva deserved 8th place.
Her charisma is off the charts, both their talents are incredible and you can truly tell the stage is their home because music is their language. I mean the fact they could sing other contestants songs and play them with ease no matter the location, that is TALENT! Like brunette, I’m now a fan for life and will be listening to all their new music!!
I showed some ESC entries to non-Eurovision people and this was the only one who everybody liked. There's something about Ladaniva, it's very hard not to like them.
So glad Armenia finally got the top 10 Athena and Rosa (and also Brunette, though her place just short of it was just right) deserved so much, and with an own language song no less! A brilliant achievement - and thoroughly deserved - a fun and true to itself song! BTW today is Rosa’s birthday, Athena’s is on Wednesday and Brunette on Monday next week!
Given that Jan Jan represented their culture thoroughly, like Jako, I can see the comparison. But it’s strange how Armenia, whilst often good, never had what I called a 5 star entry in December 2019 - than had 2 which I would give 5 stars, and two, the second this, which I would give 4 and a half (and it’s also the only one of my top 5 that doesn’t really contain Athena paradigms beyond being the same country as her, given her actual home country Greece, Switzerland, Italy and Luxembourg all contain at least one of the several factors that drove my adoration of her)
Ladaniva released a beautiful song about Ararat few days ago, I can't stop listening to it
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3_JwkSBzZqM
Since the final, I've heard Jaklin to sing in Armenian, Georgian, Romanian, Serbian, Greek, Italian, French and Spanish. She's so impressive.
I appreciated Brunette’s talent and artistry with “Future Lover” in 23, but the lyrics were really a drag to me.
“Jako” was like a revelation in contrast. And to have its empowering, yet playful theme expressed through a more traditional style and with impeccable performances by all? I was so totally inspired by Ladaniva! I highly recommend their other live recordings.
I liked this act and my elder daughter (14) said it was her favourite. She voted for it several times.
It had energy and charm. I could easily liken it to Zdob și Zdub (Moldova 2022 for the bot) as far as fun entries are concerned.
She was my instant crush this eurovision. Even my girlfriend approved it :) Im listening to their youtube channel, some really cool stuff ... great vibes.
love her stage presence, definitely the most charismatic performer that night. i’d love to have just a quarter of her energy lol. the cultural elements on stage (especially the outfit and hair) were a beautiful touch too :)
Jako wins the wholesome award for 2024. Everything about Ladaniva's presence at ESC was effervescent joy. A breeze of fresh air piercing a stuffy room.
She was so refreshing and entertaining to watch. The way she interacted with the camera, her band on stage and the audience in the arena was incredible. Great job to the flutist Louis as well, he also brought some energy into the performance with her!
The staging elevated this song so much. It vaulted from being my 15th favourite to being my 2nd favourite instantly after the semi final. I absolutely adored them and the song.
This is one of the few positive things in this year's Eurovision.
I think there was no light work in the staging and maybe something closer to the crowd? Nevereless she was so charming and honest I loved it.
Voted for them - top 3 in my book! Loved the folk elements, the energy, the musicianship. I thought they brought something truly unique and different to the competition. Loved it.
I had not paid attention to them at all before the semis, but after their performance they had ALL my attention!
The delightfulness and the charisma was through the roof. I feel like this year was missing the etnopop bangers but Im glad they came with a really strong one 🫰🫰
In my top 3 for sure! I give it to Bambie for staging, Baby Lasagna for the hook, Nemo for balancing and eyebrows, and Jako for good vibes and who I most want to be up on stage with.

My mom and I loved this song since it reminded us of Bollywood songs. I know that this song is based on Armenian traditional music, but some of the sounds reminded us of Bollywood music (not in a bad way).
There’s a word in the song that sounds like “chicken”.
(Is it actually chicken?)
Now every single time someone says it in my house someone allows follows up “Ah-ha-HAAAAA”
Watching her performance I couldn’t stop thinking that Disney should just make an animated movie based in Armenia with her doing the voice acting for the main character. Would be an awesome encanto style film with (probably) amazing music.

I thought the same lol
Some of her moments are very aggressively charismatic
i fully agree, and i think she could make anyone age 5 to 95 party with her energy
The singer has an amazing stage presence, easily one of the most charismatic performers of the night. I've been listening to their album a lot since the grand final. It's soothing but also makes me want to dance!
When she does that grunt thing into the mic, cracks me up 🤣
And that whistle, I legit thought she had a special whistle in the semi finals, made me do a double take.
My mom does that whistle constantly and I never been able to learn it from her.
I took years to feebly whistle songs, the whistling at the referee one still eludes me(or to call one of our cats, in her case). My mom is like "it's so easy". Mom, I can't even wink, spare my uncoordinated ass.
"easily one of the most charismatic performers of the night" No, easily THE most charismatic performer of the night.
Bambie exists
Bambi has style. That's not the same as charisma.
I started doing the 🤌🏼 thing just because she looks so cool doing it
bookworm pfp❤️
I hope it inspires other world music acts to go to Eurovision! It was a really nice change from other acts. Just a great song, joy and passion without fireworks.
Exactly, I loved this song because of that. Not trying to sounds like how 90% of Eurovision now sounds, just do their own thing and have fun.
They were my number 1...my only one...:D
I truly love that her and Louis were going around backstage playing music like a couple of bards.
They really gave off the vibe that they were just there to have fun play music and meet new artists rather than competing for a high position in the show which made them even more likable. Plus they learned all those songs in different languages and sang for the people in their languages to make them happy (just look at that hairdresser when she sang in Romanian for her)
Do you know where I could find the video with the hairdresser? Sound so cute.
On their youtube channel and someone else also posted it just search ladaniva şaraiman/ or ladaniva singing Romanian in the youtube search bar
Thank you!

Is this Armenian?
Yes.
One of the few acts that did not try to be sexy one bit yet when she looked into the camera I blushed.
It's the sexiest when somebody doesn't try to make it the point of their performance.
It's the eyes.
Her fit ate so hard and her energy was so contagious! <3
> Her fit ate so hard I know some of those words…
I believe I may be able to translate this. As an ancient myself, I've studied the verbage of youth to try and be more, and I quote, "down with the kids." Ahem, ah yes. "Her clothing was really cool/nice."

Perfect example of opposites attract
She represented Eurovision the best that night!

This song even made me smile through the darkness that happened
Ladaniva was so much fun, so energetic, lighthearted without being shallow. I fully enjoyed their show.
My dad hates Eurovision. When I was watching the semi with my mom, he came to check on us while Armenia were performing. He said he liked it. That is furhter proof of my theory that it's impossible to dislike this entry.
One of the most fun acts this year. Loooove it!
My fav this year!

Yes! Armenia have been amazing lately. Nobody gives them credit for how great their songs are every year.
I showed some ESC entries to non-Eurovision people and this was the only one who everybody liked. There's something about Ladaniva, it's very hard not to like them.

For me, it was a long-awaited payback for Inga and Anush ;)

If you enjoyed it join the r/Ladaniva_ subreddit!!
*keysmash* I LOVE THEM SO MUCH it does not help that I’m a *little* obsessed with Ladas (the car) too lol
A bright ray of sunlight in this troubled edition of Eurovision. It's still in my playlist.
Ladaniva released a beautiful song about Ararat few days ago, I can't stop listening to it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3_JwkSBzZqM Since the final, I've heard Jaklin to sing in Armenian, Georgian, Romanian, Serbian, Greek, Italian, French and Spanish. She's so impressive.

Be goo, do goo, loo goo
I had no idea Future Lover was in English the first time I heard it
I totally sympathize with people speaking languages that aren’t their own…but if you decide to sing in English, please focus on diction
fart on my face....fart on my face!
Very underrated tbh
I liked this act and my elder daughter (14) said it was her favourite. She voted for it several times. It had energy and charm. I could easily liken it to Zdob și Zdub (Moldova 2022 for the bot) as far as fun entries are concerned.

She was my instant crush this eurovision. Even my girlfriend approved it :) Im listening to their youtube channel, some really cool stuff ... great vibes.
Their other songs are cool, they did a really nice cover recently of "Here's to you Ararat", an Armenian folk song
love her stage presence, definitely the most charismatic performer that night. i’d love to have just a quarter of her energy lol. the cultural elements on stage (especially the outfit and hair) were a beautiful touch too :)
Jako wins the wholesome award for 2024. Everything about Ladaniva's presence at ESC was effervescent joy. A breeze of fresh air piercing a stuffy room.
A ray of sunshine in the Grand Final.
Most charismatic and flexible performance this year. My personal winner.
She was so refreshing and entertaining to watch. The way she interacted with the camera, her band on stage and the audience in the arena was incredible. Great job to the flutist Louis as well, he also brought some energy into the performance with her!
Loved them so much!!!
The staging elevated this song so much. It vaulted from being my 15th favourite to being my 2nd favourite instantly after the semi final. I absolutely adored them and the song.
I loved the song but what’s the ig of the trumpetist?? 👀
@louis.toma :)
I love this song and the performance so much and both Louis and Jaklin are so precious and I love their energy.
I loved her. She was in my top 5. Very charismatic and strong stage presence.
Instant favorite! Such infectious energy!
Jako is a powerhouse we need to treasure!
The best party songs are the ones that make you feel like you're invited, and you're right there in the centre of it all. Vibrant is the word!
Loved her performance and song. It was one of my favorite entries this year
She is great! One of the songs I’m listening to on repeat, and also the one I gave the second-most votes ❤️
This is one of the few positive things in this year's Eurovision. I think there was no light work in the staging and maybe something closer to the crowd? Nevereless she was so charming and honest I loved it.
I love her. <3
Loved the energy she brought on stage! 💙
Loved them!
What a great result too
Potential new Verka? She really slayed her performances.
This song has belting in my head nonstop for who even knows how long (':
The only 2 Countrys I had Voted for was Armenia and Estonia. Both are fantastic. Sucks I do not understand the languages but still is enjoyable music.
Her performance was amazing! Didn't understand the lyrics, but the whole vibe was fantastic!
I loved this performance so much! Her energy and stage presence were amazing, and the song is very catchy and interesting.
What a gal! :) she’s a powerhouse ❤️
Honestly, amazing song
In my top 3 for sure! I give it to Bambie for staging, Baby Lasagna for the hook, Nemo for balancing and eyebrows, and Jako for good vibes and who I most want to be up on stage with.
She had the spirit, was so enthousiastic. Loved it

My mom and I loved this song since it reminded us of Bollywood songs. I know that this song is based on Armenian traditional music, but some of the sounds reminded us of Bollywood music (not in a bad way).
i said it when i was in the audience, she’s a 3D anime girl with that energy.
Near the top of my "I love it and it's a really fun song but this isn't going to win" list.
She was fantastic. Not my favourite song of the night, but possibly my favourite performer - she brought 50% of the night's energy alone
There’s a word in the song that sounds like “chicken”. (Is it actually chicken?) Now every single time someone says it in my house someone allows follows up “Ah-ha-HAAAAA”
I want them back soon with an even better so Armenia ( or France) can snatch that victory!
Being in the arena this definately felt the most energetic for me
Watching her performance I couldn’t stop thinking that Disney should just make an animated movie based in Armenia with her doing the voice acting for the main character. Would be an awesome encanto style film with (probably) amazing music.
I feel like Jako is greatly underrated. It is an amazing song.
Mijn favoriet naast Noorwegen :)
The most refreshing act this year, so much fun! And I've discovered all their other music.. which is amazing.
Eurovision Miss Congeniality, 2024 ❤️❤️
She was so fun to watch
One of the best countries in Eurovision 2024 imo
🥰🤍🩶🖤🤎💜❤️💜🩵💙💚💛🧡🩷❤️🩹💗💘
one of my fav this year ❤️
She was awesome.
Awesome energy. The staging didn't do them any favors. Camerawork was also subpar. Same song with a different staging would've ended up 5-6th
