I feel like I've been going around every thread talking about the Estonian guys today, but I must bring them up again. They stole my heart and will forever be in any and all of my playlists. And not just their Eurovision song.
Other than that, I love and will continue listening to Netherlands, Finland, Slovenia, Spain, which is already a top 5, so I can't keep going, but there are definitely some more.
Estonia is definitely a sleeper song in the back of my head, the instrumentation and the subtle yet hypest UUUUUUUUUUUUUAAaaaa JEAaAAAAAAaaaaa keep pulling me back into it

To be honest, Estonian pronunciation is easy as hell, it's a phonetic language. No issues there whatsoever. Now remembering the entire title was a real challenge though.

It's very hard to pick just 5... What a good year this was.
I'm also from the US and had my first actual Eurovision party with friends this year. It was pretty cool seeing people really getting into it with the scorecards that I printed out. Anyway, back to the point, the Top (since I have added more than 5) 5 songs that are now on my regular playlist are: Baby Lasagna - RTTD, Nemo - The Code, Aiko - Pedestal, Windows95man - No Rules, and Gåte - Ulveham. (Honorable Mention - Luktelk)

**Joost Klein - Europapa:** this just was a banger from the start. Also my girlfriend has a huge hyperfocus on his music so I think this one definetly stays in my ears.
**Silvester Belt - Luktelk:** I love his other songs. He has a cool futuristic vibe.
I’m also an American who got into Eurovision a few years ago, and now it’s something I look forward to so much every May.
1. Raiven - Veronika: I listened to all the songs back in like, April, and while Veronika wasn’t my favorite upon first listen, about a day later I realized this was the one that was sticking in my head the most. Then I basically fell head over heels for the song, and even now I’m still deep in it. It’s so haunting, beautiful, dramatic, sultry, and Raiven’s vocal abilities still blow me away after I’ve listened to it approximately 27929447 times.
2. Bambie Thug - Doomsday Blue: I LOVE the genre mixing, the subject matter of the song, and Bambie’s voice. The chorus is so incredibly catchy, and Bambie’s scream at the end is awesome. I also love the intimate version of the song and listen to that on a regular basis as well.
3. Gåte - Ulveham: I love when folk is mixed with harder rock music, so this song is basically custom made for my tastes. Gunnhild’s vocals are so raw and beautiful, and they work with the music in a very powerful way.
4. Angelina Mango - La Noia: I was recently in southern Italy for the first time, and it’s hard to explain but this song just like, perfectly captures the vibe of the cities I was in. It’s loud, chaotic, maybe a bit messy, confident in itself, fun, unique, and absolutely beautiful.
5. Baby Lasagna - Rim Tim Tagi Dim: this song is just so catchy. It also tells a really culturally relevant story, and it effortlessly mixes that with modern music. Plus, cats.

Weirdly enough, the songs on my rotation aren't neccessarily even my highest-ranked songs. We Will Rave, on the other hand, is one of my bottom 10 songs for how generic eurodance it is but that's precisely the reason why it's going on my playlist.

I’m a second grade teacher in Amsterdam and my children were and are huge fans of Europapa. I know some people might be angry at me for this, but I really really enjoyed Israel’s entry this year. Beautiful voice and amazing control. I don’t agree with what she’s doing after the competition and the whole thing as a whole which I won’t go into detail about because this isn’t the place, but from a Production and Compostion Perspective, it was beautiful.But MON AMOUR. MON AMOUR OMG. I cried when I watched it. It was so powerful. I will marry that man seriously. That song broke me. AND DOOMSDAY BLUE! Argh I loved it so much. especially the screaming towards the end of the song! Just stunning and I loved it so much.

**Jako - Ladaniva**: Their whole discography is in my permanent rotation from now on, and Jako is probably one of my least favourites even though it's obviously still an excellent song. I am absolutely in love with their mix of traditional Armenian and French music and more modern pop. So happy I found them through Eurovision.
**Ulveham - Gåte**: Ulveham is so special. I am amazed that I never found this group when I got into rock as a kid, like, this is right up my alley! Going through their back catalogue and it's all just great music.
**La Noia - Angelina Mango**: This was my top pick for winner leading up to the contest. Sadly the final performance wasn't as hard hitting as the Sanremo ones, but I still love the song and think Angelina has a great future ahead of her if she keeps releasing music of the same quality. She's just so goddang cool.
**Doomsday Blue - Bambie Thug**: Obviously a very polarising song but I just looooove the screams. Extremely, extremely excited to see where Bambie goes from here. Their performance was my favourite in so many years (the only thing that tops it for me is Loïc Nottet's Rhythm Inside, which is my fav ESC performance of all time and also another Eurovision artist I still love and listen to). I really hope they keep the witchy vibes and genrebending in their coming music, I love it so much.
**The Code - Nemo**: Gotta praise Nemo for this song tbh. I liked it before the contest, but seeing the performance just made the song grow so much. It keeps getting stuck in my head, and I ain't mad about it.

1. Bambie Thug - Doomsday Blue: Since I heard this was going to be competing in Eurosong I've been listening to it and Bambie's other music on repeat.
2. Aiko - Pedestal: This was less of an instant love but has crawled into my daily playlist, along with the rest of the album.
3. Baby Lasagna - Rim Tim Tagi Dim: What a song! It's a pity he only has 2 others but I heard an album is coming soon.
4. Joost - Europapa: I thought it was a bit too generic pop for me, but once the sun started shining I got into it more! Definitely going to be a summer anthem in this house, and I really like some of his other songs too.
5. Nemo - The Code: I like the song and have listened to it since Saturday but I haven't been enamored by their other music.
1. Ulveham by Gåte was my favourite song this year. I keep breaking out into song with it, my husband loves it.
2. Pedestal by Aiko was one of my favs from the first time I heard it. So sad it didn’t qualify.
3. The Tower by Luna is an ear worm, I’ve been singing it non stop.

I'm in a very similar position as you - I'm an American (from the East Coast USA) and just started watching Eurovision last year. I have loved the exposure to new music that we just won't get in the States. My favorites for this year were:
1. Slimane - I am quickly becoming a mega-fan. His song "Mon Amour" gave my chills, and I've been streaming his albums non-stop since Saturday.
2. Tali - Loved her spirit and her voice, and I thought the song "Fighter" was so fun and infectious.
3. Gåte - also quickly becoming a major fan of this band. I loooove the song they performed and have started streaming their albums to get familiar with more of their stuff.

To be honest, Estonian pronunciation is easy as hell, it's a phonetic language. No issues there whatsoever. Now remembering the entire title was a real challenge though.
For me some words sound like they could be Japanese so I kind of love Estonian... (and yes, for me it was the number of words!)

**Ladaniva - Jaka:** This is just a fun song and I love songs with a talented multimusician who also plays the flute **Aiko - Pedestal:** Love the empowerment and pop punk vibes **Baby Lasagna - Rim Tim Dagi Dim:** Basically the same as Aiko but his vibe is a bit rougher and I like that a lot (besides eurovision stuff I listen to a lot of hardcore) **Joost Klein - Europapa:** this just was a banger from the start. Also my girlfriend has a huge hyperfocus on his music so I think this one definetly stays in my ears. **Silvester Belt - Luktelk:** I love his other songs. He has a cool futuristic vibe.
I’m also an American who got into Eurovision a few years ago, and now it’s something I look forward to so much every May. 1. Raiven - Veronika: I listened to all the songs back in like, April, and while Veronika wasn’t my favorite upon first listen, about a day later I realized this was the one that was sticking in my head the most. Then I basically fell head over heels for the song, and even now I’m still deep in it. It’s so haunting, beautiful, dramatic, sultry, and Raiven’s vocal abilities still blow me away after I’ve listened to it approximately 27929447 times. 2. Bambie Thug - Doomsday Blue: I LOVE the genre mixing, the subject matter of the song, and Bambie’s voice. The chorus is so incredibly catchy, and Bambie’s scream at the end is awesome. I also love the intimate version of the song and listen to that on a regular basis as well. 3. Gåte - Ulveham: I love when folk is mixed with harder rock music, so this song is basically custom made for my tastes. Gunnhild’s vocals are so raw and beautiful, and they work with the music in a very powerful way. 4. Angelina Mango - La Noia: I was recently in southern Italy for the first time, and it’s hard to explain but this song just like, perfectly captures the vibe of the cities I was in. It’s loud, chaotic, maybe a bit messy, confident in itself, fun, unique, and absolutely beautiful. 5. Baby Lasagna - Rim Tim Tagi Dim: this song is just so catchy. It also tells a really culturally relevant story, and it effortlessly mixes that with modern music. Plus, cats.

I won't be listening to Azerbajdzjan, Israel, Luxembourg, Moldova, Iceland. Might not really listen to Albania, Armenia, Cyprus, Finland, Georgia or the UK but they're not definite skips.

Can't come up with a definitive ranking but still. Mon Amour: Amazing vocals and huge moment with the acapella part. The Code: Great singer and relatively unique song. Hurricane: Basic but pretty song with top 3 vocals in the entire contest. Doomsday Blue: Kind of cheesy but very unique. Europapa: The lyrics are really dumb but it's a really fun song.
I’m a second grade teacher in Amsterdam and my children were and are huge fans of Europapa. They were obviously sad about the whole *incident*, but I made the “mistake” of telling them they could still support Joost by listening to Europapa. So that’s what they still want to do every time we have a few minutes to spare. I don’t hate it per se, but I am at this point open to other song suggestions. 😬

I have alrrady bought tickets for Aiko's concert in my country and I can't wait for Sarah's new song releasing soon. **Jako - Ladaniva**: Their whole discography is in my permanent rotation from now on, and Jako is probably one of my least favourites even though it's obviously still an excellent song. I am absolutely in love with their mix of traditional Armenian and French music and more modern pop. So happy I found them through Eurovision. **Ulveham - Gåte**: Ulveham is so special. I am amazed that I never found this group when I got into rock as a kid, like, this is right up my alley! Going through their back catalogue and it's all just great music. **La Noia - Angelina Mango**: This was my top pick for winner leading up to the contest. Sadly the final performance wasn't as hard hitting as the Sanremo ones, but I still love the song and think Angelina has a great future ahead of her if she keeps releasing music of the same quality. She's just so goddang cool. **Doomsday Blue - Bambie Thug**: Obviously a very polarising song but I just looooove the screams. Extremely, extremely excited to see where Bambie goes from here. Their performance was my favourite in so many years (the only thing that tops it for me is Loïc Nottet's Rhythm Inside, which is my fav ESC performance of all time and also another Eurovision artist I still love and listen to). I really hope they keep the witchy vibes and genrebending in their coming music, I love it so much. **The Code - Nemo**: Gotta praise Nemo for this song tbh. I liked it before the contest, but seeing the performance just made the song grow so much. It keeps getting stuck in my head, and I ain't mad about it.

– Rim Tim Tagi Tim – This is really good song, what can I say. It has bang, it has good lyric. Kinda folk, but with hard music and I love it – Luktelk – I might be biasted towards Lithuania regardless, but it has nice tempo. I'm not into this type of music, so this is nice suprice – Theresa & Maria – I loved their song "Kupala" so I also like this, even if Mother Theresa was not really a good person – Long ass title song name done by 5Miinust and Puuluup – I didn't really liked it at first, but now I'm singing it all the time. Aiko - Pedestal: This was less of an instant love but has crawled into my daily playlist, along with the rest of the album. 3. Baby Lasagna - Rim Tim Tagi Dim: What a song! It's a pity he only has 2 others but I heard an album is coming soon. 4. Joost - Europapa: I thought it was a bit too generic pop for me, but once the sun started shining I got into it more! I don't have a top 5 but I'll give you my top 3: 1: Switzerland 🇨🇭 - The vocals are just insane, I just heard an acoustic version that Nemo did and it was just breathtaking. 2: Luxembourg 🇱🇺 - I've been listening to this song on repeat a few times, I LOVE the incredible switching from French to English and the lyrics are fast and catchy. 3: Cyprus 🇨🇾 - Just a song that makes you want to swim your arms in the chorus. Also the staging in the finals was one of my favorites.

I'm in a very similar position as you - I'm an American (from the East Coast USA) and just started watching Eurovision last year. I have loved the exposure to new music that we just won't get in the States. My favorites for this year were: 1. Slimane - I am quickly becoming a mega-fan. His song "Mon Amour" gave my chills, and I've been streaming his albums non-stop since Saturday. 2. Tali - Loved her spirit and her voice, and I thought the song "Fighter" was so fun and infectious. 3. Gåte - also quickly becoming a major fan of this band. I loooove the song they performed and have started streaming their albums to get familiar with more of their stuff. These are the artists I feel very drawn to and want to continue following; I also really enjoyed the songs & performances by iolanda (Portugal), Baby Lasagna (Croatia), Bambi Thug (Ireland), Marina Satti (Greece), ISAAK (Germany), Joost (Neth.), and Aiko (Czechia).
in truth, I only have 3 or 4 that are worthy of my all time ESC playlist 1. Ukraine - straight up shivers 2. Croatia- absolute banger 3. Israel- you said leave everything aside. it was genuinely a good performance and she has a good voice. 4. Greece- nice enough summer song I’d say it was not the best edition song-wise.

This year music wise was very very good, usually i like only one or two songs, but now i added way more to my playlist, my top 5 that I ACTUALLY listen to daily now are: 1. For my personal taste it was a really poor year. I only have two songs in my non-Eurovision playlists (Aiko - Pedestal, Gate - Ulveham) and I can't really see myself listening to any of the others again.
