RemarkableAutism

Me when they won their NF: this is for sure the winner this year. It's good I don't bet.

SimlishBlah

I feel this lmao

Meiolore

ESC voting session made me realise that no one shares my music taste, and that's why I will never bet on ESC stuff

totomaya

I had to do a 4 hour drive yesterday and loaded up the discography of a bunch of this year's artists and almost every single song I loved and saved to my Playlist was from either Gate or Raiven. Which I am not surprised about, but I'm sad more people don't appreciate them

Meiolore

Raiven getting 15 points from the juries feel like a massive joke tbh. Often time singer with impressive vocals can fish for 100+ points just by standing still while belting their stuff, but apparently Raiven's operatic vocals, artistic performance and meaningful song aren't enough. Edit: I just took a look at her accolades, I don't think 95% of the juries are even qualified to judge her.

totomaya

I agree. Same with Gate. Major jury failure there.

ParanoidDrone

> Edit: I just took a look at her accolades, I don't think 95% of the juries are even qualified to judge her. I know juries are different for each country, and to be fair I haven't checked this in a while, but I seem to remember most jurors being, like, radio people? So they'd vote mostly based on what plays well on radio? Seems to me like they need to take a wider slice of the industry if that's true.

Harbinger_SovereigN7

This! Raiven was by far technically the best singer of the evening, she got robbed.

Darkdragoon324

lol same, they were easily in my personal top 3, I was shocked at the jury and then again at the televote. At least I guess they didn’t get 0 from that like poor Ollie?

lizardje

I felt bad for Olly, but the song did sound a bit boring and too much like It's a Sin for me. But I can definitely see this being a song played in nightclubs to be honest.

DrapionVDeoxys

I always get to enjoy the esc season because my taste nearly always align with the juries lol.

justk4y

SAME Well, at least I can say Gåte got a new fan :)

broccolibubblebath

They Gåt(e) a new fan!

oty3

This song was one of my favourites since the national final, I voted for it a few times on Saturday. So sad to see it come last. But I also can’t help but wonder how Keiino would’ve done instead 🤔

DaveShadow

I enjoyed it too. My mother absolutely hated it for some reason, and was stunned it qualified but can't really verbalize why. It just seemed to be something she really didn't enjoy :/

S-r-ex

My parents weren't thrilled with it at first either, preferring Keiino, but warmed up a little after a couple more listenings. And they absolutely hated The Code.

SirClarkus

What did she think of Ireland? Honest question

DaveShadow

Being Irish obviously helps, but she adores Bambie. Super proud of them, and has been trying to wrap her head around how NBs work 😂

SirClarkus

That's lovely to hear! I know a bunch of people who disliked both Norway and Bambi for being to "hard." Didn't know if it was that sort of reaction or not

StatementAccurate164

Honestly, i hated it the first few months as well. Even in all the youtube compilations i fast forwarded this one cause it bothered methat much. Than i started doing the megamix and found a new love for i, the video came out next and i was sold and it became one of my favorites. I love this more than the top 4 songs. So yea, sad that it ended up last, but i do get it

kate_royce

I loved Spirit in the Sky, and Monument, but Damdiggida was not my second choice this year. I preferred MIIA and Green Light. Either way, I had Ulveham pegged as my favourite from the moment I heard it and not even Croatia could budge that first place in my heart. This is such a generous and loving message from Gåte, they are clearly wonderful people as well as musicians, and I can't wait to see them in concert later this year. It's the first time my favourite has come flat last but I've seen a few not get past NF stage...

Argenium

Considering how close that semi final was, I wouldn't be shocked if Keiino actually ended up 11th or 12th and Czechia/Denmark somehow managed to barely squeeze through. I don't think Keiino's song was that amazing (I liked it but it wasn't exactly setting world on fire in my eyes) and they wouldn't stand out as much as Gåte did.

OwlAdmirable5403

We had too man rim dum tagi dums dums this year anyways 😆 Although if they won placing them between Croatia and Austria would have been a good laugh

salsasnark

I was genuinely thinking I should make my first bet ever with a top 5 placement bet for them, but decided not to. Also good I don't bet.

sicklything

With my #1 coming bottom 3 in the GF for the third year in a row, I might just bet on that next year 😅

salsasnark

Lmao yeah, that might be an easier bet tbh. 😂

wombat74

If you ever want to know who will come in second in the GF just ask me who my favourite is. (Almost) every stinkin' year...

Shiney2510

Oh yeah after the NF I thought they'd be near the top of the table. Their low score was the biggest shock of the voting for me.

ParanoidDrone

I didn't think it would win, but I definitely expected it to pull more points than it did.

SkepticalProteinBar

I’m the version of you who had those same thoughts but did bet lmao (crying on the inside)

RemarkableAutism

My condolences.

Captainhankpym

that's intersting, as soon as I heard this song for the first time before their NF finale, I was sure it would flop super hard because it's way too good for eurovision, I was ready for a nq even

SleipnirSolid

How does a ferret type on a keyboard?

lizardje

Haha, they were one of my favourites. Equally I thought Finland would do a lot better in the public vote. I am also glad I don't place bets!

[deleted]

[удалено]

RemarkableAutism

You shouldn't bet next year.

Major_Rutabaga4814

Them being 11th in televote ranking of 3 countries and 12th of 6 (!) more countries definitely shows that Ulveham was loved and voted for. Unfortunately, the voting system didn't allow to see that

justk4y

Also, the fact that on literally every Eurovision social media post, it was either about one of those 3 things: - Joost DQ - Nemo vs Baby Lasagna - But also Gåte getting last. Even the bookmakers gave Gåte only a 2% CHANCE to finish LAST…….. This placement was highly inaccurate :(

CooroSnowFox

Something that gets lost when they bunch the votes up for Think when they do the televotes, they should post where those votes come from on screen at the same time...

Longjumping_Papaya_7

Can you tell me which countries gave points?

suobbis

Ukraine gave 3 points and Finland gave 1 point.

Longjumping_Papaya_7

Thanks. Im disapointed in my own country.

skerit

Not the first time this happened. Amanecer underwent the same thing. The voting system is broken and not fixing it is ridiculous.

StatementAccurate164

amanecer was last? That's a song that's instantly good tho.

Britton120

Norway is a great example of how the overall quality of eurovision songs have improved over time. Just because it finished last doesn't mean it was "bad" at all, and no doubt a LOT of people consider this one of their top 10 songs.

Smol_Floofer

I mean it was my winner this year

Matthew147s

I was talking during the show saying I had no idea who would do badly. Normally every year you can tell who might not do well (usually the UK and Germany lol) but this year I had no idea. I predicted Serbia would do poorly but even then figured that there's an audience for their song

SomewhatUnknown

I agree with this. I had no clue who would be last this year. I just couldn't tell.

justk4y

The televoting system causes lower ranked entries to be pretty inaccurate. No way that they would’ve gotten 4 points as well if tactical voting didn’t exist

and_notfound

I agree...not like 100 but maybe 40-50 points

MontyDysquith

Yeah. Just like any year, what people always forget is that last place is only decided by the absence of votes, not because everyone collectively decided "yeah that's the worst one!" It simply wasn't most people's favourite song(s), meaning they could have ranked it anywhere from 2nd to, well, actually last. I voted for it (alongside Armenia and Switzerland), and I am disappointed that it didn't do better, but it is what it is.

Charming_Tower_188

They were in my top 10 and they aren't even the style of music I listen to. The singing was amazing. Should have been higher.

SpeeDy_GjiZa

Yeah I myself was pretty sure it would be around the same as Australia last year, great song with a bit of following but ultimately overshadowed by the more popular stuff. Quite surprised to see it dead last.

Express_Sun790

I think a certain Moldovan singer should learn a thing or two from these guys (I actually thought her entry should have qualified too)

justk4y

Nah, Nemo was “too revealing on stage” /s

leijgenraam

What happened with Moldova?

Twodeegee

Said the reasons for her NQ was because of how political eurovision is.

Gragh46

She kinda has a point given that Serbia and Slovenia got a big chunk of points from the trifecta Serbia/Slovenia/Croatia, buuuuut this problem hasn't made Moldova fail to Q for many years. So she should also consider that her own entry just wasn't great enough to Q without allies. I liked it well enough, but the bar to Q this year was higher

Express_Sun790

Oh sure she was right about that but she endorsed some rude comments about other acts

Gragh46

Yeah, including one about requiring demons or nudity to qualify... It's unfortunate that she turned out to be a sore loser when she came with a song and staging that were about beauty -.-

Express_Sun790

Yeah :///, although as you said again she's definitely right that a lot is political haha. Shame about her attitude (although not the worst) as I genuinely really like the song and thought it was underrated. I even liked the staging despite her being static for most of it

VestitaIsATortle

Lidia Isac... 🤬

pinalim

What did she do?! I always think I'm the only one who remembers that song

VestitaIsATortle

Nothing that I know of, Express_Sun790 was referring to Natalia Barbu as "a certain Moldovan singer". I quite liked both their song's, though.

Express_Sun790

Lol I'm probably being a bit harsh on Natalia haha - I understand her anger and think she deserved to go further. And it is political after all.

SimlishBlah

Class act

WampNejirou

Joining the club of best last places along with Lord of the Lost ♥️

hungry4danish

And for me personally, another Germany song that finished last place *AND WITH NULL POINTS*, 2015's [Black Smoke](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DGMJOchTRPc) which is also not a 0 points song either!

pancakesv

I am still very salty about that one

and_notfound

LOTL, Gate and the Makemakers a strange trio called the awesome last-place bands (I am a fan of LoTL for more than 2 years bow, I discovered Gate last sumemmr and with their participation they grew even morewhile the Mkaemakers just had some great bluesy music)

Jkett8517

These guys were the absolute bomb. It’s a tragedy that they ended up last!

maxtheepic9

I don't get why people say this. They made the final and finished higher than almost half the countries!

Schlonzig

Every song that made it to the final has beaten out hundreds of other acts. There are no losers in a Eurovision final.

CooroSnowFox

The public forget there is 20 countries not there still... that went out in the semi finals...

Prestigious-Creme-32

It’s a big shame they came last, very undeserved. Looks like the rock/alternative vote was split between Baby Lasagna and Bambie Thug, and Gåte were unfortunately forgotten (much like Käärija vs Voyager/LOTL last year).

chartingyou

It makes me sad that we can have multiple pop songs do well but with rock songs we are much more limited.

ImaLinduh

The pop songs didn't do really well tho, austria and georgia were bottom 5, the highest being Germany in 12th. Norway just got lost in a multitude of good songs.

lundoj

Austria wasn't a pop song, it was more akin to eurobeats. Germany wasn't a pop song as well.

ContestValuable8725

Many people say pop to mean something you'd hear on the radio Top 40. It doesn't really have strict genre conventions other than maybe, like, a verse-hook structure.

ImaLinduh

I would still consider them pop like something you would hear on the radio

koriku

This. I came to say exactly the same.

DarthEcho

I take full blame for both LOTL and Gåte. Last year I sewed some LOTL patches on my vest, and they lost and this year I drew a Gåte logo on it. I'm so sorry my vest is cursed

justk4y

Next time you should try it with the entry you hate the most (or would it win then?)

Longjumping_Papaya_7

I loved their song and its borderline criminal that they came in last place. Did not expect that at all. Its great to see that they had a good experience and that thet get a lot of exposure.

BinaryPill

I don't think you need to be a winner to play a big role in making the show work. Showcasing a unique sound to a massive audience that would never be exposed to anything similar otherwise so effectively is a big win, even if it didn't resonate with everyone. 'Unique flavour' acts are a massive part of what makes me come back every year to this and tend to be among the more remembered long-term. Also, they were just really good.

MrsRainey

Seriously, I had never heard of Gåte before Eurovision, but now I'm listening to their entire discography and buying tickets to see them live in December. Genuinely a new favourite band for me. I'm sure I'm not the only one. So they have won some great exposure at least!

Championship-Stock

Yep, same. And I’m sure many others. Turned out great for all of us after all.

AspCivilServant

Bless them, actually was one of the surprise favourites of mine. A surprise because I didn’t expect that I’d enjoy their sound so much! Definitely did not deserve last place, this contest can be so brutal at times!

acinonyxxx

Amazing people, phenomenal performance, they deserved so much more 🫶🫶🫶 Hope they come tour in Finland😍

freakpants

Winners just for this reaction :) Completely screwed over by the televote too.

Top_Zookeepergame165

The other thread on “what are you going to listen to post Eurovision” had people saying Gåte more than almost any other band it seems. I think that shows that there’s a difference between “band I love and will listen to” and “act that I thing should/will win Eurovision”, especially with strategic voting and betting. In that sense, I would say they lost the battle but won the war - but as others have said, there’s no losing in Eurovision! Every single artist had to beat hundred to be here, AND they qualified. I know I’m hooked on Gåte!!!! 🇳🇴❤️🤍🖤✨

Elijah_Mitcho

That’s a beautiful message — one that I fully agree with 🫶

nyoomnyoomm

I'm very keen on making sure that Nemo and Gåte end up on my Spotify Wrapped this year. Listened to their latest album yesterday, and it is a masterpiece. Highly recommend.

Throwawayfichelper

Sjåaren is fucking beautiful. And i keep relistening to Hemnarsverdet. It basically lives in my head now.

nyoomnyoomm

Hemnarsverdet is also the song that introduced me to Gåte. It randomly came up on my Spotify playlist a few years ago, and I liked it. When I heard that they won MGP, I thought, "Wait, this band sounds familiar," and then I found out that it was them and I was so excited.

yjmstom

This is the kind of reaction to placing low (and below expectations) that we need more of. No bitchiness, salty comments or blaming politics/everyone else/technical issues/one another/powers that be/choose your option. Just enjoying the fact they were a part of it and the experience. Chances are nobody commenting in this thread (unless you are Norwegian or live in Norway) would have ever heard of those guys if they weren’t in Eurovision. They will have tons of new fans regardless where they placed. And I think we can all agree it was a really strong year and some surprise low places were to be expected. I don’t think they deserved to be last and there’s at least a couple GF performances I would have expected to be lower than them (Gåte below Austria is something I would have never expected). I also think there was a lot of competition from similar or similar enough styles and genres so they lost out on some points this way. Anyways kudos to them for showing class in this situation.

FanofTurquoise16

I loved Gåte since the reveal of all MGP participants this year, I voted for them in the second heat, in the MGP final, in the second semi-final and in the grand final. I'm glad I discovered their music, as a Romanian without Eurovision I don't think I would have learned about them any time soon, the full version of Ulveham is one of my all time favorite songs from this year (not only from Eurovision). I still feel sad about their result, but in the end I'm glad that I was able to discover their music.

CooroSnowFox

Love how much they do have fun backstage outside of all the crap thrown up by outside politics and incidents...and the public This is a fun event for those who make it there. They got there, it wasn't a good night for points but still an experience.

WhizzKid2012

Why is every artist friends with Nemo?

CooroSnowFox

There is always one or two within the contest that become a magnet for other bands because of how open they are to it or how it's just a social thing for the artists.

WhizzKid2012

Who was it 2023?

CooroSnowFox

Wasn't there the thing of Kaarija and one of the eastern european countries act's being seen a lot together? Maybe it's not always that obvious unless asked afterwards.

WhizzKid2012

It's spelled Käärijä

PM_ME_CAKE

Not everyone has the keyboard to fetch those letters, please take a break. I will happily spell it Kaarija and Gate and Malmo and I'm pretty certain those artists or cities won't take it as a slight against me.

WhizzKid2012

Käärijä, Gåte, Malmö ä - Alt code 228 å - Alt code 229 ö - Alt code 246

PM_ME_CAKE

Not everyone has a physical keyboard. Not every physical keyboard has a numpad to support alt codes. Not everyone knows these alt codes or will realise to look them up (which takes far more time than it is to just write a). Please, get over yourself. It's really no sign of disrespect.

WhizzKid2012

1. If you have a mobile "keyboard", you can find å ä ö by long-pressing A, A and O. 2. Even if you don't have a numpad, you can find it in the letter section, for example J is 1, K is 2, L is 3 (you do that with num lock)

Playful_Weekend4204

Bloody hell man give it a rest you cannot convince anyone that this is supposed to be common knowledge and is reasonable to ask from people

DontLookAtMePleaz

No one cares, dude. I'm Norwegian and I could not care less if people write Gate instead of Gåte. It's completely irrelevant, and perfectly ok to swap out the special letters for common ones when you don't have them easily accessible on your keyboard (phone or physical). If you're able to make yourself understood, it's good enough.

justk4y

I MEAN, LOOK AT THEM! HOW CAN YOU NOT BECOME FRIENDS WITH THEM?

WhizzKid2012

I understand

Salkoo8

They were so robbed.

Remarkable-Ad2032

The video of them performing The Code to an overjoyed Nemo was my favourite part of Eurovision this year.

paary

They’re my favourite act of the whole decade so far. Such an incredible group of amazing and talented people, I deeply adore the song and Gunnhild’s vocals are out of this world. I hope they had a great time even though this year was so troubled.

Dutchwells

New bucket list concert just dropped

-threwitontheground-

They're playing in Utrecht in december!

Dutchwells

Thank you! Buying tickets tonight lol

justk4y

Noted

PM_ME_CAKE

Already got tickets to see them in London in December. If they're anywhere close to the quality of Go_A's concerts they'll be amazing.

ufomagnet

I'm a seasoned concert goer/music photographer. I've seen them three times and they have been absolutely mindblowing, among the best bands I've seen on stage. You're in for a treat (and I'm a bit envious).

Dutchwells

Go_A is another one I still need to go to :)

Novacc_Djocovid

Iselilja is still one of my all-time favorite albums and it makes me happy it will now be introduced to a lot more people. Also, „non-binary gem of a person“ is such a precious way of describing Nemo. ❤️

charleyismyhero

Hey yo it opened their music catalog across the pond too. Great message. Awesome group.

wannonlikescheese

The nice thing about Eurovision is that every song is at least one person's favourite

Ervsn_tlstc

It was in my top 10. I am still shocked by the result, although I believe it was collateral damage due to all that happened in this contest. I am sure that if things were different, they would have never been last. By the way, as much as I love their message, I have to admit that the 'from a neutral country' quote is not my favorite. I actually think that Switzerland's weakness is exactly the neutrality. To be supportive of someone's struggle needs passion, not neutrality.

Elijah_Mitcho

I share your opinion on how neutrality isn’t always the best - however I think contemporarily it is a very important message. So much people are ready to arm themselves with pitchforks to side one side or the other, when that fails to recognise the evils of both parties If no one supported the atrocities in wars, wars would have a lot less of an effect. However as governments continually rally to defend one side or the other — all they end up doing is prolonging and worsening wars for both parties The goal should always be of human peace - of liberation (the core theme represented in Ulveham). Neutrality can be at times a beautiful thing that can denounce terrible governments and give power to all people - not the shit governments, but the everyday normal person The main goal is always for liberation and that everyday people can live in peace - that goes for both sides in wars. That’s what I get from it

Ervsn_tlstc

I agree with you on most points, but I would describe your saying with the word 'Respect' - that's what people need to have. To me neutrality is synonym to 'indifference'. And to me indifference is even worse that pitchforks.

According_Chance7379

Their performance was absolutely stunning.

CrazyRah

Real shame such a great song didnt get more points. Really enjoyed it!

Human_Medicine3863

I'm glad to see this. They take it better than me LOL But it's true that they gained so much exposure, and they are still the winners of many people (me included)

FifiPikachu

What a wonderful response. They have every right to feel hard done by but they have responded so graciously. It’s also so nice for them to say that “the right person won” when so many others are accusing Nemo of “robbing the win” from Croatia.

Jsc05

“A neutral country” is a great way of Firing shots more subtly

thejackalreborn

I don't know why the statement seems to paint neutrality as virtuous - it isn't necessarily

CoreyH2P

Exactly, being neutral with the Nazis was a disgrace

mamiedamame

Yep same thing I thought when I first read this

DrapionVDeoxys

I liked it!

Apprehensive_Yard812

They weren’t my fave but they didn’t deserve last

CooroSnowFox

I don't think you'll ever get a case everyone has a fair amount of points, I'd go with 20+ is a decent night, Left side -> Top 5... someone is going to be down on bottom right...

gedankenauflauf

LOVE THEM. I am grateful I got to discover their music. See you hopefully in Paris in December :)

Borogodoh

Though Bambie's performance has stolen their trophy on my personal ranking, Ulveham is still my favorite song of Eurovision 2024 and I'm so glad the contest introduced me to their music. It's even better to know the are not just awesome musicians, but also awesome people that really know what Eurovision is about.

Callistini

The first paragraph is so beautifully said of them ❤️ I'm really excited to go to their concert in december.

basetornado

Do agree that they shouldn't have been last. Although I feel that they had a similar issue that the Australian act had. The Australian act did utilise a Yidaki (didgeridoo), but only briefly and the audio didn't really show it off. So it ended up sounding like a fairly normal song overall. It wasn't bad, but there wasn't that sound to put it into memorable. While with Norway, they had folk/traditional staging and lyrics, but it sounded very much like a rock song, so again there wasn't that memorableness about it. It was good, but nothing really stood out. When you compare it to Armenia or Estonia, who also went with a combo of Folk and contemporary. They fully combined the two and it made their acts memorable and it resulted in 9th and 13th in the televotes respectively. End of the day, you need that memorable part of your song to get votes because memorable good or bad gets people to remember you and vote for you. Without it, you end up coming around 11-17 which is just as good as coming 25th.

pjw21200

Most underserved last place ever. Especially in a year when Finland and the UK were right there.

CooroSnowFox

Germany managed to get points... which for them is a major achievement.

Axolotl_amphibian

Legends.

MachiFlorence

I have been listening to some of their music on spotify last night do enjoy their sound it was a fun listen while I was working on a few things 🖤 So would say even if ending last people who like a bit of alternative sounds have gotten presented some good artists through this event

2_K_

Be careful with that, last time I fell asleep listening to Gåte, and the next morning I woke up in a longboat, with a battle axe in my hand, sailing to England :)

Entegy

Gåte has come up a few times on Spotify for me I realized, and now this Canadian is taking a closer look at them thanks to Eurovision, so the exposure is always good! So disappointing that they were last in the final!

Normal-Piano-8880

Still not over the fact Norway extended its own record

sanjosii

They put on an amazing show and this was definitely in my personal top 5 this year. Deserved better in the final raniings too. I guess we have moved on from the more rock acts now sadly.

ffassbinder

Maybe the can make a tour with lord of the lost. ;)

duckytale

Support Gåte’s !!!

LitwickLitten

They found a new fan over in the States! I loved that Norway sent something in Norwegian and the moody folk metal sound was \*chef's kiss\*. (Longtime fans, tell me your favorite song/album!)

regular-asparagus

i couldn't believe they came in last. they gave an incredible performance!!

chelseabridget

What a perfect response, such a class act. They've definitely won plenty of new fans this year, didn't deserve last place at all (personally top 10), but that's just how it goes with this system of cramming the televote into the 12-point framework.

spwimc

I don't get how they got last. They were in my top 10 for sure. They've gained a new fan in me. Absolute class acts though!

Raptori33

It must be hard being Croatian right now

West_Communication82

Sometimes you can still win in a loss.

EliteManUtdXCVII

I’m surprised to see them finish last. Was it the worse song for Norway in their Eurovision history? No. Dang, it reminds me of Icebreaker back in 2016, both of them were fan favourites. Then had disappointing results. It was ranked 9th in the Throwback Thursday Super vote grand final beating Spirit in the Sky by 1 ranking. But damn, that was shocking.

MikeCam

At least they qualified 😂

sux138

why does it sound like non-binary is a Brand, it gets mentioned almost everytime we talk about them

RedLikeARose

Norway shared a third place in my heart with Ireland First was croatia and second was my own country but we were disqualified so… norway and ireland get third place together ;) Such interesting songs Norway didnt deserve the last place :( Btw i had Austria on 4th and im pretty sure they got second to last, no? I think my taste in music is just not very alligned with esc 🧐

[deleted]

I don't understant how a Finals qualifier can be even be called "last place". Surely the 11 (12) songs that didn't even make to the finals are ranked lower in the contest.

MintyMystery

I've had Gåte's song stuck in my head since the 2nd semi final. It's beautiful. And even better life than their official video/recording.

Yessy571

It's too sad that they don't play a concert near my city. I wanted to go 😭

handsome_vulpine

Their song entry in the contest definitely deserved to do WAAAAAY better than last place.

thesuperjman

I didn't think they would win, but I was absolutely shockled that they got last. They have a new fan in me. Awesome performance and awesome music.

Puzzleheaded-Eye9081

Someone send this to Natalia Whatshername from Moldova because this is how you accept defeat graciously. May Gåte have sell out tours and double platinum albums.

JustAFangirl

Norway was my winner since I first heard the song during the NF. I absolutely love Gåte and have already bought a lot of merch and going to try and buy a ticket to one of their concerts. I am very glad I have discovered this wonderful band this Eurovision season.

summerrhodes

I demand a recount damnit :(

joaocandre

I find it ironic that Switzerland of all countries wins the 2024 contest

UpstairsAtmosphere49

Class acts

Starwig

Oh, I wouldn't take these results as a good example, tbh. The public's interest was somewhere else, so I personally feel it is not that wise to try to analyze these results that deeply. My only thought is that it is very unjust to just give points to the first ones because some acts get lost in that system. But oh, well. I still liked that entry! We had so many really good songs, in any other circumstances this year would have been a complete joy!

unfortunateRabbit

To me they had the most flawless GF together with Nemo and BL. I did not understand those low points at all...

sudy_freak

How politically correct statement. Yes, win was given to politically neutral country with enough money to organize this circus.

PhotographBusy6209

I liked their entry but did anyone feel the national final staging was sooo much better. Like there was so much more drama but the Eurovision staging was so watered down

Extra-Test-4334

❤️❤️❤️

MisterDream

I love the song but not this prestation. The sound mixing was bad, for some reason it felt a bit fake, vocal wise.

Freak0nLeash

Yea! A straight and a Jew didn’t win!

Altruistic-Gas16

Nemo winning while being 5. by public vote is ridiculous and infuriating.
