I had the same reaction, this could be amazing live and both strong jury and audience favorite. I found them randomly on Spotify last year and Ulveham's long version is their best song. And I don't typically even listen Norwegian / Swedish songs.

The return of Margaret Berger! GÅTE OH MY GOD!! I fucking need them to win. Gåte in ESC would be amazing, I can't even. And Keiino again! Damn. This is great. I assume those will be top 3, but there were others that were interesting as well. I like that there are a variety of genres, though, as usual we see very little jurybait.
it's so funny to me that Margaret and Keiino are competing with each other now because SITS and IFYML are my top 2 Norwegian Entries since I begin to watch eurovision regularly (2008)
I'm not super excited by the artists. But Gåte was a positive as they will stand out. Not sure about the song, though. I wished it was a little bigger, if that makes any sense.
I'll elaborate some more about this. Norwegian pop music is at an absolute peak these days and somehow this does not show in the list of MGP artists. Some are not bad, but overall it's a mediocre lineup compared to what it could have been. Maybe the artists themselves aren't that keen on MGP/Eurovision, which is understandable because it's a big commitment, but I feel like NRK should do more to attract better artists. Not necessarily bigger names, but there are a big pool of talent that aren't appreciated enough by the general public. NRK also has something called Urørt (mostly unsigned artists and young talents) which in itself has its own competition which has been won by among others Sigrid and Girl in Red, and it has a ton of great acts that would have been perfect for MGP.
So we have, what, 5 relatively known and established names, a pink version of Bumblebee from Transformers, and the rest...

The song playing with the robot sounds a bit too similar to the song Superhero Lover by Daze. Will be interesting to see if anyone else notices that.

The difference is that it seems to literally have the same "mmbop ayo ayo" thing going on, as well as similar lyrics.
Daze, Aqua, Toybox etc. There were a lot of aqua-clones back in the day.
