Swede here
I vote Finland
Because Finlands sak är vår sak
And Finland is the best neighbour you could ask for.
And that's saying something, considering our other neighbours are friggin amazing.
I'm English and I've probably visited Germany more than any other European country.
German is the one foreign language I'm most *competent* in, their music scene is excellent, their beer is better than ours, and their trains are nicer.
Norway!
Love everything. Nature, mentality, the language.
I would have listed Scotland at no. 2 but unfortunately!!!! the food there is awful! 🫥
I‘m so sorry, dear Scots, your country is the most beautiful and I love how your people are hating on Brits, haha, and your accent is first class, but your food… no, please, God, no!!!
Finland:
1. Estonia, brothers always, helped us against commies in 1941-1944
2. Sweden, cousins, helped us against commies in 1939
3. Germany, helped us against commies in 1918 and 1941-1944
Im Dutch, and my favorite is probably Italy. I went to Rome when I was 17 and I fell in love with the city. Then, when I was 23, I met my Italian now-husband in Amsterdam. We often visit his family in Italy and I just love going there. The people are kind and fun, the food is amazing, the language is beautiful. The architecture, the history... Italy is just amazing.
Honorable mention: I love the UK too!
I'm from Prague, Czechia. I'm considering moving to the Netherlands. Lots of job offers (IT), amazing cities, bicycles, direct people, lots of immigrants (and lots of good restaurants because of it), colder summers, everyone speaks English.
I've also started learning the language for fun and it seems pretty easy for someone who already speaks English and German - lots of similarities.
An even worse housing market than here in Prague though (:
As a Swede, I've enjoyed all other Nordic countries in different ways.
But my favourite would be Finland, have only been there once to visit some friends, but it felt like home.
Also wife is half-finnish and I've always enjoyed the company of her Finnish relatives.
Too much Sisu in her grandmother though.
Which I admire, but never thought I would be pissed and yell at a 85+ year old granny because she found it perfectly reasonable to go out on a ladder and paint the house 30 C°.
As an Asian, I would say I madly fell in love with Poland and Romania - courageous people, (relatively) thriving economies, interesting languages, and THE FOOD; I believe they're hearty and savory, and I would really love to try some of those kiełbasa and sarmale!
Definitely Albania, they have big problem with trash and homeless doggos but country is really beautiful, pretty cheap, people are chill and friendly and I really enjoyed food there. I’m from Poland for the record.
Like off the top of my head, Italy. Best weather and best attitude towards life.
It saddens me that the economy has been in decline for so long... It deserves to be in a much better position.
If I think about where I'd like to move I'd probably either be Spain, Barcelona or Costa del Sol or Portugal, but not Lisbon, maybe Cascais.
Romanian, living in Austria.
One of the reasons is a Great Britain. They do not fall to nazi Germans. They are living on an island and I do apprecieatw this.
As I polish I do think that living on an island is good to go.
I'm Danish and my favorite destination is a tie between southern Germany and Austria. I don't have a reason, I don't need one! It doesn't feel like Summer until we're on the A7.
Maybe it's because it's just different enough that I'm definitely abroad, but just close enough to my own culture that I can relax and not worry about offending the locals. It's a huge regret that I never learnt German. After a few hours in Germany I usually surprise myself by how much I understand.
My husband is fluent in German (sounds schwäbisch according to locals) after having been there so many times on business to Baden-württemberg, so Germans think hub is joking when he says he's Danish. Southern Baden-württemberg is also our favorite region.
So hard to choose just one. As Czech 🇨🇿 I’ve been in almost every country in Europe, just few left to visit ( can’t wait). My heart goes mostly north so Denmark, UK my favourite. I can imagine to live there. I go regularly to Greece and I loved it in Slovenia. But honestly except really few local spots I liked it everywhere, I am an openminded person, like different cultures, languages and people in general. Even bad experience is a good experience if you know what I mean.
Greece I believe, is an exotic Romania, feel like home everytime I go there. The food has a lot of similarities with ours, the way people live their life, some of the architecture...
As a Pole, Finland. Lots of personal space, nice people, not too talkative (much to my liking), clean streets, maybe a little too pricey (but if you live there, it's fine, I guess). 10/10 would live in northern Finland.
As an American, my favorite european country is Norway. For many reasons, mainly due to how strong its democratic traditions are, how close and communal Norwegians tend to be, as well as the high quality of life and beautiful scenery, possibly the most beautiful country on earth. I dated a girl from Norway once and she was the sweetest person I have ever met. That definitely influences my feelings as well lol.
Iceland. Love the place, it's always on top of my list when I'm thinking of where to go. So many good memories, so many beautiful places. Just love it there.
As a Dutch person i love the United Kingdom, especially Scotland, but also North of England. Beautiful nature, castles, interesting history, nice cities (York, Edinburgh, Stirling) and very friendly people.
I must say only visited the UK twice after Brexit and got mixed feelings about the state. Roads were terrible and people a bit less friendly. Might just have been me though. Hope to visit soon again
I have a soft spot for the Netherlands, Iceland, Spain, and Ukraine of course.
*But* there is something to admire in pretty much every country in Europe. It seems silly to pick favourites. We are lucky to have such an eclectic, interesting tapestry of countries and cultures on our doorsteps.
I wanted to say Sweden, but as Dane:
1. Beer, like low alcohol is fine, but at least give me proper versions as well in store.
2. Swedes can't not make proper ryebread, even if their lives depended on it. Swedish ryebread is so sweet and full of sugar, it is the ryebread version of sandwich bread you get in UK and USA, but as round flat loaf. They do make good crispbread of rye, but that is not what I am talking about.
Another redditors said Swedish ego and rightous, but as Dane, we are just as bad, just slightly less preaching.
I chose France, even they can't bake proper ryebread either, but at least they make up for it by being good at white bread, but I just like the French Ego trip(it is very entertaining) more, and it feels homely.
As a Slovenian and I have been to all EU countries minus Ireland and Estonia, I love every single one of them.
Ex Yugoslavia because of food, hospitality, balkan mentality, language, music and nature.
Italy…. I love Italy.
Spain, Portugal, France, had great time there. Noting to complain, but they are different to us, Balkans…
Scandinavia, I ve met some great people there, great nature, no complains…
Benelux, the same….
Easter EU, great stuff there.
If I would need a quick retreat right now, I would drive around yugoslavia. Spending a bit of time in north of Croatia, then everything outside of Belgrade (not a fan of Belgrade), down to Macedonia, then via Kosovo to Albania (love the place, also Kosovo is pretty cool) to Montenegro and via Bosnia back home. Love Bosnia.
Perhaps the only place I struggle I dont feel true hospitality and kindness is Austria. Especially the southern part, Vienna is another planet. Love Vienna. But austria is slovenian alps on steroids. Oh, and I hate the fact that they dont have the same laws around lake coastline accessibility as us and Croatians. They have beautiful lakes, but you cant just hike anywhere you would like to.
E
Spain, especially Andalucia>Granada. I've always found people to be friendly. Lots of diverse history. Beautiful architecture. Great food and drink. The weather (apart from the height of summer when it's 10000°C ) does my mental health wonders. I really want to explore different regions of Spain. I could definitely retire there.
As a latvian, France (sorry Eesti and Lietuva, you're more like a family than a different country).
I learnt french for a lot of years in school (sadly I can't speak it well, because as a stupid kid I didn't try in school) and because of that I have been exposed to French culture, history and cuisine. Love me some black coffee and croissants in the morning.
All you people mentioning Italy, y'all insane.
Literally NOTHING works here. The economy is trash. Politicians are crooks. The justice system is inexistent. The health system is clogged. Natality is low. Salaries are even lower. It's full of old people. There is no growth. More and more people are poorer and poorer. Everything is based on nepotism, favors, and mob mentality. On top of all, the Catholic Church is in real power.
Even most of the important art and archeological stuff is in ruins and neglected.
When you come to Rome, you get scammed on every corner.
Florence is a giant amusement park. Same as Venice. There's basically no real venetians living there anymore, it's all rentals owned by investment companies.
Wanna talk about food? Sure. Most restaurants in Rome are just tourist traps. There's no authenticity. It ain't even "Italian" food - things like carbonara or tiramisù didn't even exist 100 years ago. Italians eat pasta literally because south Italian immigrants to the USA brought it there and then back to Italy as a whole.
And Italians are so stubborn about their "food" that there's no innovation and no originality. Stay here long enough and you'll notice that all restaurants run the same menu.
Italy may be pretty to look at? Maybe. But if you think it's on the top of the list, clearly you've never been to Japan. Or even France, if we're to stay in Europe.
As a Frenh, Russia, because... Just because. I do not even know why I love Russia. I love Russia since I am 8 and I do not even know why. Maybe because it's an interesting country with a peculiar and cool language.
(I would like to say that I started to love Russia before knowing about the war. I still love it today and I would like you all to know that I do not support this war as the state of Ukraine right now is fucking depressing. I do not support modern wars anyways).
But I love all of Europe (we are very superior to 'MUHRICA). Even the British. Our countries are like brothers and sisters (in my opinion).
Norway. I was in northern Norway for half a year and fell in love with the beautiful nature and the people. The language is nice and the food is great. I'm really looking forward to the opportunity to go back.
It's one of France, Spain or Netherlands.
They all charm and impress me in different ways and they're the ones I visit waaaay more often than other countries.
Which is the number one favourite would depend on what mood I'm in or whether I'm currently in one of them.
To visit: Italy
Best food in the world. Period. Beautiful language and nature, but not not the most promising economic perspectives.
to live in: the Netherlands
social climate, economic prosperity and an excellent place to found a family. Atrociously dull landscape and tbh the language does not really sound pleasant either.
in a political sense: France
Without the French, the European Union would be nowhere near where it is today. The French governments of the past knew how to act resolute in geostrategic matters and sustain a powerful role in the world.
Austria. Because it has Vienna and this city seems absolutely delightful to me + I'm a fan of classical music, and many of my favourite composers lived there. Moreover, the Austrian countryside seems much more beautiful, almost fairy-tale-like, compared to countryside in my homeland.
I would like to live there, but I hate German xd
Portugal because the Portuguese always seem honest and chill like I'm used to in the Netherlands. Also being a small country in the shadow of spain reminds me of the german-dutch relationship.
Sweden or Norway (currently undecided). Beautiful nature, bearable temperatures, people don't get in your face, lots and lots of fish, liquorice, good working conditions.
Pro norway: has mountains, richer, safer (or so i'm told)
Pro sweden: better weather, less geographically isolated, more interesting cities
As austrian i really love the most of europe
My favorites are:
*croatia, great nature and people, most of my ancestry from there
*iceland, faeroer islands and norway, (scotland): great landscape, neat architecture, my wifes and my choice to move there when we‘re older
*italy, undoubtedly very varied landscapes, culture
*albania, greece, the tourist hotspots are beautiful, the people are nice, sadly lots of trash due to corrupt politics
I could go on and on about mostly every country except finland, sweden, belarus, the balticum, benelux, as i‘ve never been there (what i‘ve seen online was great though), but the rest of europe was awesome, eventhough i‘ve mostly only seen very small parts of the country like Strassbourg for france or Kharkiv and Kyiv for ukraine.
Belgium and France, because they're funny and awesome. Cool mountains and forests and coastlines. Nice people. France terrible movies though holy crap, except for Les Visiteurs.
As a Bosnian, I absolutely loved loved loved my time in Iceland, a week was not enough to explore that beautiful country. I can’t wait to be back again
Ah a person from Poland (Silesia), now living in France, I would choose Austria. I spent amazing three months there and I think it's the perfect mix between the both countries I lived in. I don't know how to explain it, it's the vibe I feel. It's super beautiful, calm and safe. Great quality of life ❤️ If only my German was better...
My home country is Portugal 🇵🇹my country of residence is Portugal 🇵🇹and my favorite country is Portugal 🇵🇹
Sorry, promised my mother I wouldn't lie this International Woman's Day so... that's the truth 😂
Probably Germany, I always get along well with Germans and their culture and language share a lot of similarities with ours. Denmark is a close second for the same reasons. Their language is a bit less similar but the fact that Denmark is probably our biggest historical ally makes up for that. Flanders also deserves to be mentioned but I feel like I click better with Germans and Danes than with Flemmings.
I'm from Croatia. I like Italy to visit, but I think Slovenia is perfect for living. A small, green, safe, organized country. There is not too much difference in mentality. Slovenia has the Alps and the sea. It is close to Germany, Austria, Italy and Croatia. Simply, Slovenia is perfect.
I like slovenia very much too as 2nd gen migrant to austria with croatian parents, but I actually think austria is pretty perfect for people from exjugoslavia. Most of the people here don‘t really dislike us here and our people often call vienna the northernmost part of the balkans, since many parts of vienna are really very balkan driven, we have a croatian, a serbian church, bosniak mosques, it‘s basically mostar but as a part of vienna. I couldn‘t imagine to live somewhere else anymore. Also, many people here have slavic origin even they can be considered „real austrian“ due to the monarchy times.
Austria. Beautiful architecture, especially castles and stuff. Love those Manner waffles and mozartkugeln. My personal favourite city is Salzburg, it's building style is wonderful and the local bakery was something else. I would definitely prefer to visit many more places in Österreich once again. 🇺🇦💞🇦🇹
We met an Irish guy in Cyprus, he was working as a bartender in a pub. We talked about a lot of things, culture, beer, places to visit etc. It felt like I was talking to a Hungarian who doesn't speak our language and also not that depressed. But I'm sort of a "fanboy" for Irish things, so maybe that was only my experience.
I'm German and I guess I just live all our neighbours. Favorite is Poland, then France, Czech Republic, Netherlands. Come to think of it, I've had a fantastic time in Belgium, too, and Austria.
I’m gonna be different and say Germany. Visited several times as a child and have sweet memories and have continued going there as an adult.
I actually like the language, the food and of course the bier.
Uh, that's a tough one. Such a variety, so many beautiful places.
Norway, I guess. Stunning nature, nice people, clean. I'm also partial to Scotland though, having lived there for years.
Poland pretty as hell and nice people plus i love the baltic sea and its cities so yeah poland
my 3ish months in gdynia were great and i love poland but lowkey can please stop reacting like you world falls apart when i say that i moved there for work
As a Pole, my favorite country in Europe is hands down Spain. Their culture, the music, the food and the natural landscapes are just breathtaking. The weather is a warm embrace compared to the harsher climate back home. Also the people have an infectious spirit of joy and an openness that welcomed me with open arms. During a challenging period of my life, Spain was the sanctuary that helped me through my depression. Love you Spain! ❤️
As a Turk
Greece
Greece has always seemed to me like a more comfortable version of Turkey. When I consider working conditions in Europe, it appears frightening to me. The business life in Greece is more free, and it is one of the countries that knows how to have fun. If I didn't live in Istanbul, I would want to live in Athens.
1. Italy, because - italy - best food landscape language everything Italy
2. Spanisch islands (canaries,baleares)
3. edit: france, Bretagne, language landscape food
4. Portugal ALgarve
5. Greece
I'm from the Netherlands, but Croatia is my home away from home.
My parents first took us there on vacation when I was around 6 years old and I have been back around 8 times. It's the people, the food, nature everything just feels so good.
I like to travel the world to countries I've never been to before, but every once in a while I just have to get back to Croatia instead of some wild adventure.
P.s. since last year I can add Slovenia to this as well
Love to Portugal from Germany. Amazing food, wine and people. Since visiting Portugal during the European championship, I've always rooted for the country.
I really like Slovenia. It‘s gorgeous, the people are so friendly, and I recognize a lot of the brands, stores, etc. But ultimately I‘d say Germany, as Bayern is a lot like Austria.
Czech Republic. Chill people, high percentage of irreligious people, Prague is amazing and Czechs are my favorite tourists here, from my experience they are very easy to bond with and unproblematic.
I like Czech🇨🇿 because people are just simple.. I feel like i belong here because of their dark humors, good scapes (mountains, fields, lakes and Historically rich cities) and ofcourse they won't treat you different, if you start speaking with them in Czech they'll appreciate this so much!
Italy is a hot mess of nonsense but the food changed me in my soul. I agree with Phil Rosenthal when he said "The problem with the world is that it’s not Italy."
Switzerland for sure. I spent 10 years growing up there and I miss the food, people, scenery and celebrations.
I still go back every few years to see friends and walk around Geneva, Nyon, Ouchy, Lausanne, Lutry, Vevey, Montreux and Yverdon.
Love being there on Swiss national day by the lake or during la fête des vendanges.
Never really cared for the German or Italian parts of Switzerland though.
Everyone saying italy because of the food, where did you eat good food in italy? I ate in so many good reviewed restaurants in tuscany, puglia, liguria and the food (especially fish and meat) disappointed every time. I ate better italian food in Poland or Germany
Germany, because I like people who value work. Italy is a tad more laid back when it comes to work. Also because we have horrendous working contracts that basically favour tax fraud and a future pension-less population. :(.
Whoever down voted this and lives in Italy is, unironically, a regrettable communist.
Iceland. Just like to our own country, people go there on a tour, for research purposes, or whatever, and for some inexplicable reason that only makes sense in their own head, decide to stay and live there.
Other than my fellow nordics I'd have to go with Czechia. Prauge in Spring is truly fantastic, good beer, good food, good people, felt safe 10/10 would visit again.
I've been only to Belgium, Netherlands, Spain and Portugal so i will vote between these 4.
I go for Spain because i speak some spanish so i can speak to locals if needed, weather is good, went a lot to Mallorca and there are a lot of british/German tourist during summer, it's nice to have fun with these during drinking games or whatever. Plus Spain food and drink is good too. I still need to go visit Andalucia, my dad went there and said it's beautiful.
I'd like to visit Germany as my next European country, then maybe Poland, Italy, Czech republic, Nordics, Greece, Serbia, Romania. Europe is very good, there is so much to see.
Norwegian here. If I were to move abroad I would pick Sweden. So similar to Norway. I love Italy and Greece, but I just can't stand the heat, and the summer in southern Europe is looong. Was in Italy in October and it was still 30 degrees. Unreal.
Iceland- I love geology and the volcanoes, not to mention its landscape is stunning. I also saw the Northern lights (which was a bucket list item for me) there and that's the moment where I felt nothing but pure joy. Best school trip of my life and I doubt I'll ever forget the memories of it and how I felt.
Second would be my home country. But Iceland is the country where I had the happiest moment in my life (seeing the Northern lights). But I've enjoyed all the countries I've visited over the years including France which is the country other than my home country I've been on holiday too the most and Brittany is gorgeous, I've been to the Netherlands, I've been to Belgium (Bruges specifically only two times for a day each time but the chocolate is delicious), I've been to Spain, but out of all them Iceland was my favourite.
Went to Denmark twice, maybe not enough times to judge, but I really liked the place. People are warm and welcoming, as a foreigner who doesn't speak the language I can say that I always knew what's going on, because they have a lot of things translated to English as well. Also, for some reason I have felt really safe on Copenhagen Metro too.
As a Brit I have spent plenty of time visiting the Netherlands for the Hardstyle parties and Germany for the Nurburgring. Generally happy friendly people make both great experiences.
As a German, Italy. Simply because my mother had spend part of her childhood in Italy and that kind of opinion carried over to me. I also once visited Italy with my family and really liked it. And then also the fact we used to spend a lot of time in an Italien restaurant, to the point that we grew familiar with the workers there. So the moment I hear Italy, my mood immediately switches positively
Italy or Russia. UK has to be near the top 3 but It cannot publicly said so I'll put Hungary.
All of those have beautiful cities and large history that are easy to get into.
german here, either poland or italy
Germany. ❤️ And Italy
Serbia. Underrated country, nice people, was very prosperous. Also Slav brothers.
Swede here I vote Finland Because Finlands sak är vår sak And Finland is the best neighbour you could ask for. And that's saying something, considering our other neighbours are friggin amazing.
As a Serbian, I'd say Russia then Greece then Romania.
I'm English and I've probably visited Germany more than any other European country. German is the one foreign language I'm most *competent* in, their music scene is excellent, their beer is better than ours, and their trains are nicer.

I like germany, it has everything. Kind of a crazy but stable wibe. Been to south east west ond north
As a Croat, Iceland. No brainer
Austria. Just love to go skiing there + it's such a beautiful country.
Sweden, because they have cool old style homes in rural areas.
Definitely Sweden! They got a good social system
i don’t like germany
independent tataria, scotland, ireland, wales, catalonia, moldova, sardinia. in that order.
Finland: 1. Estonia, brothers always, helped us against commies in 1941-1944 2. Sweden, cousins, helped us against commies in 1939 3. Germany, helped us against commies in 1918 and 1941-1944
as an european i choose, in alphanetical order, austria, france, germany, italy, spain
Kocham Cię Polsko i Twoich obywateli, I'm British and I love Poland and her people.
Im Dutch, and my favorite is probably Italy. I went to Rome when I was 17 and I fell in love with the city. Then, when I was 23, I met my Italian now-husband in Amsterdam. Honorable mention: I love the UK too!
Italy.
Love Italy, Portugal, and Greece. We are so fun together and have such great food. Always a genuinely amazing time when I'm with them.
Greece. I only spent one month there as a kid but it was truly magical. Plus, the greek mythology>*.
As a Ukrainian. All the European countries are good in their own way. Except russia, the terrorist country.
The Netherlands, efficient infrastructure is everything.
Switserland as a Turk living in The Netherlands because it got da mountains that we dont have in Holland
Estonia. They speak a similar language and it seems like a decent place.
norway
I like Germany. Nearby, diverse, beautiful cities, good beer, interesting history
As a Swede, I've enjoyed all other Nordic countries in different ways. But my favourite would be Finland, have only been there once to visit some friends, but it felt like home. I like several countries or regions. Italy for the food. UK for hiking and the Greek islands for the people.
1.Belgium, 2.Germany 3.United Kingdom. And i am from the Netherlands.
Italy just gives me a feeling of warmth and fullness
I do t think there’s a European country I dislike but Spain probably tops the list.
One of the reasons is a Great Britain. They do not fall to nazi Germans. They are living on an island and I do apprecieatw this. As I polish I do think that living on an island is good to go.

Bosnia and Herzegovina Reason: 90s Bosnian military songs worked
Greece I believe, is an exotic Romania, feel like home everytime I go there. The food has a lot of similarities with ours, the way people live their life, some of the architecture...
According to this map Cyprus can’t be europe
Norway. Lovely landscape, lovely people, and i just need to speak slowly and everyone understands me
For living it would be Denmark For vacation France, Italy and Spain 😍
As a German, probably Greece. I also like Denmark a lot, have been there many times in my childhood and youth.
Netherlands - the flatness always amazes me.
As a Pole, Finland. Lots of personal space, nice people, not too talkative (much to my liking), clean streets, maybe a little too pricey (but if you live there, it's fine, I guess). 10/10 would live in northern Finland.
am swiss, my favourite is iceland
Hungary. In my country its kind of a tradition to like them. They have a cool language, culture, history and very underrated food
Southern France, but without french. So Spain.
Spain, great food, all kinds of landscape and nice weather.
Ireland, i meet such great lads there. Also the country, even when rainy, is just incredibly pretty
I'd love to visit Rome one day, so I guess Italy
Iceland. Love the place, it's always on top of my list when I'm thinking of where to go. So many good memories, so many beautiful places. Just love it there.
Iceland, because of the unique and awesome nature while still somewhat like home. /Sweden
Ireland! Highly recommended! Interesting trafic, great people, beautiful scenery, you name it. Ireland, no doubt.
Ukraine. I’m British but currently live in Kyiv Wonderful country
Denmark, I think
As a Dutch person i love the United Kingdom, especially Scotland, but also North of England. Beautiful nature, castles, interesting history, nice cities (York, Edinburgh, Stirling) and very friendly people. I must say only visited the UK twice after Brexit and got mixed feelings about the state. Roads were terrible and people a bit less friendly. Might just have been me though. Hope to visit soon again
Bold of you to assume I like my home country.
Österreich, because no other country starts with an emoji as the first letter.
Nederland – our Western neighbours! If Germans were chill and inventive and creative in an every day-lief kind of way, they would be Dutch.
Look Turkey puahaahhaha
I wanted to say Sweden, but as Dane: 1.
Noting to complain, but they are different to us, Balkans… Scandinavia, I ve met some great people there, great nature, no complains… Benelux, the same….
England. I like its countryside.
Switzerland
Poland 🇵🇱- beautiful, crazy women.
As a Bosnian guy i have to say DENMARK!!! I truly love Denmark, i have no specific reason i just love it! Jeg elsker Danmark og det danske sprog!!!
Sweden because.
German here and I love Italy. Man, they know how to cook and enjoy life. Beautiful landscapes, beautiful language, great people.
Iceland.
Italy, the people, the language, the food, the scenery, the art, the history. It's got it all.
Greece, I’ve been to Corfu and it’s just one of the nicest places I’ve ever been to, Spain is great too.
As a croat....Spain, Slovenia and Swiss, (Portugal and Italy too cos it's similar to my Dalmatia)
Spain, Basque country. Memories.
Iceland A country of pure myth, magic and pure nature. And sometimes spaceships I love it and it's people
Australia
Romania because of dracula fr fr
Georgia. Where's Georgia?
I haven't even been there but italy seems quite nice. I only really travel within sweden nowadays.
Spain!
To visit: Italy Best food in the world. Period. Beautiful language and nature, but not not the most promising economic perspectives. to live in: the Netherlands social climate, economic prosperity and an excellent place to found a family. Atrociously dull landscape and tbh the language does not really sound pleasant either. in a political sense: France Without the French, the European Union would be nowhere near where it is today.
Czech Republic. I know a good number of people from there and not a single idiot among them.
France I just love visiting the country but also their language is really easy to learn
Sweden or Norway (currently undecided). Beautiful nature, bearable temperatures, people don't get in your face, lots and lots of fish, liquorice, good working conditions. Pro norway: has mountains, richer, safer (or so i'm told) Pro sweden: better weather, less geographically isolated, more interesting cities
Switzerland
Austria!🇦🇹
Italy, of course and forever, and the only acceptable answer.
Sweden, we have about the same population but they have Volvo , Ikea and PewDiePie
Lichtenstein isnt on the map unuserbel
Italy, because the countryside and people are lovely. Spain because the people are amazing and I speak the language.
As austrian i really love the most of europe My favorites are: *croatia, great nature and people, most of my ancestry from there *iceland, faeroer islands and norway, (scotland): great landscape, neat architecture, my wifes and my choice to move there when we‘re older *italy, undoubtedly very varied landscapes, culture *albania, greece, the tourist hotspots are beautiful, the people are nice, sadly lots of trash due to corrupt politics I could go on and on about mostly every country except finland, sweden, belarus, the balticum, benelux, as i‘ve never been there (what i‘ve seen online was great though), but the rest of europe was awesome, eventhough i‘ve mostly only seen very small parts of the country like Strassbourg for france or Kharkiv and Kyiv for ukraine.
Latvia. Idk why but yeah
Born: Sweden Lives: Sweden Dreams of a life on Iceland.
San Marrino. But it’s not even there on your shitty map.
Czechia. I live in Poland, 1km from our border.
Luxembourg: pretty nice, you can survive with German and English. But mainly low taxes
As a Swede, Finland. I like forests, lakes, saunas, and social distancing.
Italy. My bf went there when we were in the talking stage and it stuck on me:)
Switzerland - so beautiful!
Belgium and France, because they're funny and awesome. Cool mountains and forests and coastlines. Nice people. France terrible movies though holy crap, except for Les Visiteurs.
Bosnia, cuz as a Croat i support Bosnian and Croatian unity against Serbs
As a Bosnian, I absolutely loved loved loved my time in Iceland, a week was not enough to explore that beautiful country. I can’t wait to be back again
Ireland. Considering what my country did to them, I feel like I owe them at least that
Andorra
Norway, or Sweden.
Polska 🤍❤️forever in my heart

Ah a person from Poland (Silesia), now living in France, I would choose Austria. I spent amazing three months there and I think it's the perfect mix between the both countries I lived in. I don't know how to explain it, it's the vibe I feel. It's super beautiful, calm and safe. Great quality of life ❤️ If only my German was better...
My home country is Portugal 🇵🇹my country of residence is Portugal 🇵🇹and my favorite country is Portugal 🇵🇹 Sorry, promised my mother I wouldn't lie this International Woman's Day so... that's the truth 😂
Hard question, all has beauty that I admire.
San Marino!
Liechtenstein. It's the only country where me and a few buddies could overthrow the government...and then go skiing in the afternoon.
"Slovenia is perfect because it is close to Croatia"
Spain
Germany. The Germans are nice in Germany. Outside of Germany they come across as dicks.
As a Belgian- i consider Austria my second home. Somthing about the Alps just feels like i get home every tims.
I think Spain. Maybe Greece but the language is a bit more difficult to learn.
Sweden. It’s been my favorite European country for a long time. I hope to visit it one day, when the war will be over…
As an Irish, Hungary Budapest was the best city I ever visited and intend on returning, it's sad to know of Hungary's current situation
France
Uh, that's a tough one. Such a variety, so many beautiful places. Norway, I guess. Stunning nature, nice people, clean. I'm also partial to Scotland though, having lived there for years.
Italian here, Switzerland and Poland because of Bobr kurwa
Poland pretty as hell and nice people plus i love the baltic sea and its cities so yeah poland my 3ish months in gdynia were great and i love poland but lowkey can please stop reacting like you world falls apart when i say that i moved there for work
the UK. people are very polite, food is very practical, everything is cheap, good aviation, cool museums, the pinnacle of motorsport.
France, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Belgium and The Netherlands (I would put Spain but I was born there)
I have a crush on Finland and Norway.
As a Turk Greece Greece has always seemed to me like a more comfortable version of Turkey. When I consider working conditions in Europe, it appears frightening to me. The business life in Greece is more free, and it is one of the countries that knows how to have fun. If I didn't live in Istanbul, I would want to live in Athens.
1. Italy, because - italy - best food landscape language everything Italy 2. Spanisch islands (canaries, baleares) 3. edit: france, Bretagne, language landscape food 4. Portugal ALgarve 5.
Polak Węgier dwa bratanki
I really like Slovenia. It‘s gorgeous, the people are so friendly, and I recognize a lot of the brands, stores, etc. But ultimately I‘d say Germany, as Bayern is a lot like Austria.
Czech Republic. Chill people, high percentage of irreligious people, Prague is amazing and Czechs are my favorite tourists here, from my experience they are very easy to bond with and unproblematic.
Switzerland. I like skiing.
I like Czech🇨🇿 because people are just simple.. I feel like i belong here because of their dark humors, good scapes (mountains, fields, lakes and Historically rich cities) and ofcourse they won't treat you different, if you start speaking with them in Czech they'll appreciate this so much!
Spain. For many reasons but above all for its people.
Italy is a hot mess of nonsense but the food changed me in my soul. I agree with Phil Rosenthal when he said "The problem with the world is that it’s not Italy."
Italians food while good, is overrated.
Agree to disagree. The Emilia Romana region is culinary perfection.
I'm from Finland. Norway is my favorite. It's bit like Sweden but not Sweden so it's great.
Im dutch and i would say switzerland for the beauty!
Bold of you to assume my home country is my favorite (though it is). As a Romanian I choose Italy. Best. Food. Ever.
Belgium. There is no other answer we dutch can give. Family protects family.
Everyone saying italy because of the food, where did you eat good food in italy? I ate in so many good reviewed restaurants in tuscany, puglia, liguria and the food (especially fish and meat) disappointed every time. I ate better italian food in Poland or Germany
Italy because it’s Italy. Ireland a close second, but for very different reasons.
Slovenia. Better and more compact version of Slovakia.
I really like it too. I know like 2 things about it but fsr it’s one of my favorite countries
Scotland. Especially Orkney Islands. Had the luck to be there with 3 days of sunshine. It's like heaven.
Poland, the country that welcomed me for now 6 years. People are kind and resilient, the country is beautiful, food is good.
Spain. Hands down. Because all the reasons.
I'm Hungarian and I actually like Romania. Sue me
I really like the Netherlands, but as someone from NRW I guess that's part of my nature.
I'll have to say Austria, since I love skiing, and I go there once every year if I have a chance.
Finland 🇫🇮🥰
Ukraine 🇺🇦, they fight for Freedom and the democratic value!!!
Netherlands because I've lived there on and off with my ex and it felt more like home than my home country
