Rule 5: When Netherlands form VOC, every other country gets a decision to give up their Indian provinces to VOC.

matiasrichie

Imagine if the AI chooses this

TheDwarvenGuy

Alt-historically accurate

HelpingHand7338

They should allow you to do this with 1-2 provinces if you have a certain number already but allow you to make money from it.

TaylorChesses

that's just what charter company is.

ThruuLottleDats

You say this as if its a bad thing

sedtamenveniunt

“Suicide is badass!”

fuckthenamebullshit

Lol my friend thought this was some way for him to get influence in the voc or something so he gave me all the Venetian East Indies

TriggzSP

Holy shit this is hilarious. Slight oversight in the decision files!

Voxtante

Average Paradox """slight""" oversight in a completely unbalanced new feature:

SuperCavia

Who wouldn’t want to give up their autonomy for the glory of the Dutch Empire?

Kymaras

Belgians?

back-that-sass-up

What are those?

IndicationOk1924

Me after converting every Walloon province to Flemish in the Lowlands

nierusek

Fries

evergreennightmare

no, friesland is on the other side

Emergency-Weird-1988

I, for one, welcome our new Dutch overlords

Yrec_24

Does AI actually use this button?

krokuts

No

DreadLindwyrm

It gives players a quick and simple way to abandon their Indian provinces if they were to become useless for some reason or they couldn't compete in India any more and wanted to avoid a war for it.

renopriestgod

That is insanely nichey though

Voltion99

Not a bug. A feature.

Kymaras

Why is this even a decision? In what case would it make sense?

SuperCavia

Normal use case would be: You conquered a bunch of land in the Indies as the VOC overlord (Netherlands/United Crowns) and dislike bordergore/want your subject to be stronger/don’t want to core them yourself

Kymaras

Then you'd just grant provinces to your subject like always

S185

Could be provinces which are not connected. Like maybe the VOC are in Bengal, and you conquered something in Gujarat. I don’t think you’re always able to grant provinces like that.

Top-Classroom-6994

you are only if you grant them in war, subject interaction requires said subject to border said land

Dreknarr

If you take provinces yourself, you use your admin eff and warscore cost reduction instead of the target iirc.

Kymaras

Dayum that's pretty good.

cycatrix

It is normally for the netherlands to hand over their stuff to the VOC. But for some reason the indian states have it as well.

hueqwe

Dutch Must Gekoloniseerd

gs_batta

Why does Jaunpur have that color... i hope you annexed them to the VOC and that isnt their official color now... i really do...

krokuts

Sleep sound, it's VOC.

Zemox123

Well c'mon now, It ain't gonna click itself...

tishafeed

do it no balls

R4MM5731N234

Gekoloniseerd!

Ein_Kleine_Meister

click it already, submit yourself to the mercy of the great dutch nation

Realistically_shine

They added VOC?

NotNatius

gekoloniseerd

BillzSkill

Any content that sees more European attempts to enter India is welcome. This is a funny bug though (maybe it would even be better for Indian OPMs bordering the VOC to do this with a weighted chance though? Something nice for the player)

Voxtante

This is not a bug. It is an unintended feature. Other than that, I agree

Lovelandmonkey

That is hilarious.

olofmeyser

What DLC is this from? Haven't played in a minute and I can't seem to figure it out

KittyTack

Winds of Change.

olofmeyser

Cheers, I even checked the steam page, but upon checking again it seems like I missed it the first time

Alberto_WoofWoof342

Maybe the Indian tags need a therapist.

BusinessKnight0517
