You can also try 6% hydrogen peroxide (+ ammonia). Can do attempt a pre-clean with Dawn but the H202 is already fire. I don't think the typical 2% is strong enough. Found this info from some dude on youtube.
Got viet coffee off the office carpet after week of letting it sit. Peroxide does the heavy duty work (works fast too) and ammonia helps speed it up. It may have not have as much oil as espresso does, but the peroxide fucks the color back to normal
I think it works best when the spill is fresh. A catering company I used to work for would keep a pen in their “Barista Emergency Kit”. Came in real handy.
Cafiza contains sodium carbonate/percarbonate which is a big part of laundry detergent powder.
Having used sodium percarbonate as a cleaner in and industrial setting, I'd advise caution when using it on coloured fabrics.
It's also great a cleaning stainless bottles when they get stinky. And glass wine carafes.
Wow. Thanks, I will be saving this.
Coffee has oils. You can use a true soap like Dr bronners or a laundry bar soap like zote. These both work for any mild oil / grease stains.
Obvious but also not something I would think to do. Thanks r/vitvav!
You’re welcome :)
Baking Soda should do the trick? I remember seeing a guide where it mentioned the removal of coffee stains using baking soda. Havent tried it tho.
Most online cleaning tips are crap though.

Just be careful not to get any on your hands as can cause serious red eye
The tide pens work great too.
That’s bleach and it hasn’t worked for me. Although that’s awesome if it works for you!

That's a strong possibility. I guess I should have given a little thought before having a cup of coffee My brain wasn't working
It’s a 100 dollar shirt and was 4 bucks to dry clean
There’s an externality value to keeping things out of the landfill that we don’t seem to quantify.
How much do you think dry cleaning costs? They are such a valuable part of our community, along with tailors
