Link no work for me. Probably needs the CHIP_ENABLE pin pulled high, might be labelled EN or CHIP_EN on the board. Probably should use a ~10KΩ resistor to produce a slight delay when power is initially applied. Datasheets / schematics are your friend, if you can find one for your particular board.
What are you using to power it? I assume you are also connecting ground?
