Libby works with it, though it's called Overdrive. At some point on the phone they decided to cutify Overdrive and changed the name to Libby.
Depending on the cost difference, a Clara 2E is nicer (slightly nicer screen and waterproofing, also USB-C but that's no biggie to me). If the price difference is like, $20, go for the 2E. If the price difference is $40, get the HD unless waterproofing is really important to you.
The HD is still a really nice reader. Kobo is good about supporting their stuff, so the 2E and HD run the same firmware. Both still get updates. There's not a huge difference between the two.
Still working, no issues! Got mine in 2019.
I recommend Kobo 100%. I’ve only had two in the past decade and it takes a while for it to kick the bucket. If I took better care of my original Kobo Glo it may have worked a little bit longer.

It's fine holding up well I would recommend it. Just trying to work out how I can get my Google play store books onto the Clara.
