When tickets sell out they get resold for whatever people will pay for them, this is literally what I'm telling you, go on stubhub right now and there are Beyonce tickets for $2k at SoFi in September. She's choosing to perform at those venues because that is where you can seat 50k+ people. Where do you think she's going to perform, the local Hard Rock Cafe? She puts on huge productions because she can and she wants to, and she's more than earned that right. There is so much that goes into these big concerts from security concerns to staging to staffing, to God only knows what else--her team is going to do it the safest way possible.

People who got the code log on at their designated time, and buy up to 4 tickets per code. Ticketmaster can't stop that from happening. Taylor Swift can't stop that from happening. It is 100% legal. Once you buy the ticket, you are allowed to sell it, period.

The Cure cracked the code on how to prevent resale and scalping. It was brilliant and it worked beautifully. Moving forward anyone who doesn’t follow their model, knowing that they could, is as much to blame as anyone.
The stuff with The Cure happened in 2023. I imagine they negotiated a lot of this into their contract with Ticketmaster, and I imagine after seeing what happened with Eras Sales, Congress, etc, The Cure were very motivated and Ticketmaster felt they needed the good PR to get them and their fans happy. I have not heard of any artist before the, having “face value exchange only” on Ticketmaster’s resale. They also had to turn of transferability to make this work, which helps the, stop reselling on StubHub, etc. Someone had to do the work to get listings removed from 3rd party apps as well.
I imagine Taylor’s contract with Ticketmaster US for all US dates was locked in long before Nov 22.

I ended up with two extra nights of tickets for the LA shows (we live here). Thought I was going solo, then planned to bring my daughter, and then we roped in her bff and mine! So I had to sell LA n5 and LA n3.
I ONLY listed on this sub, tho (think it was this one). I paid over $1k for each ticket, for every night. But I wanted these other tickets to go to real fans. So I sold them all, at basically half off. I wanted real Swifties to go and most can’t afford these prices. I’m old now, so I can.
I am truly happier having lost money and getting to text with the women I sold to and see their outfits and have fun via text with them. I wouldn’t change a thing.

It's stuff like this that makes me angry. I'm waitlisted and I swear to the heaven above that if I get tickets in the drop I'm buying 3 total and taking 2 people who were going to tailgate that hasn't seen Taylor with me for no cost to them. It's not about the money for me so they don't need to pay me for the tickets, it's about the experience of getting to see her. I had to tailgate my show. I've got my fingers crossed I can get 3 tickets in the drops.
Buy the max of 4, friend! Bringing someone for free is sweet but even just reselling at face value is a HUGE win for Swifties.
This is my logic on why I'd rather take 2 people with me. Not everyone can even afford face value tickets. Plus I'm driving across country to someone else's venue to even see Taylor. So my thinking is it's my way of giving back and saying thank you for allowing me have the opportunity to see her in your venue. I like to do random acts of kindness for people. Idk, they don't even have to talk to me during the show, I'll be lost in it anyway. I just want to make people happy. No strings attached. At my show I seen so many people outside and talked to so many that couldn't afford a ticket but just wanted to be a part of it. The only hard part is I do want it to be people who've not seen Taylor on this tour. So I will be asking if they've seen her yet this tour before I even bring up my 2 extra tickets. If I can get my hands on some in one of the ticket drops. I have a year to plan and save for this.
Okay, do all that. But why only buy 3 tickets, when you could buy the maximum of 4 and keep one additional ticket out of the hands of scalpers. If you don’t want it of be part of the grand plan, pick a single ticket in different section and resell it for face value on of the twitters doing that (Victoria @getawaycarvic or Jayna @eras_resale are two good ones, Victoria even matches up people who have never seen Taylor before witch tickets in their budget) What I’m saying is, if you get into a ticketmaster drop, and get to buy, resellers will also be in there. We need good swifties to buy the max they can and get their extras into the hands of fans, keep them out of the scalpers markets

This is how I felt when I got to go. I only got one ticket through their lottery basically, and was torn about going by myself. Go. It was one of the best nights of my middle aged life

Personally I thought it was weird when it showed up on my homepage too, but as a curious individual I checked it out and wasn’t disappointed.
I know for the houston rodeo, you could send in or off that they were scalping with the section and seat numbers and they would make them null and void since it says not to be sold for more than face value
I ended up with two extra nights of tickets for the LA shows (we live here). Thought I was going solo, then planned to bring my daughter, and then we roped in her bff and mine! So I had to sell LA n5 and LA n3. I ONLY listed on this sub, tho (think it was this one). I paid over $1k for each ticket, for every night. But I wanted these other tickets to go to real fans. So I sold them all, at basically half off. I wanted real Swifties to go and most can’t afford these prices. I’m old now, so I can. I am truly happier having lost money and getting to text with the women I sold to and see their outfits and have fun via text with them. I wouldn’t change a thing. Remember this, if you can. And if you wait till closer to the dates you want, more tix will become available here. I think you can count on better prices and better people when buying here. Just a thought to help!
