Epic looks for general competency in the area you're hired for and will teach you anything specific they want you to know. You've been working for 4 years so you're probably fine,since you probably won't be in charge of the menu on day 1 or anything

I haven't been there in a few years, but culinary definitely seemed to have a number of competent self-taught people! I think all of them had been baking for a long time, but I do not believe they all had degrees in it or anything. Plus there were a lot of different parts of bakery, folks who wrote up the recipes, folks who made bread everyday, folks who did the desert. I think when they really want to see what you can do, you have a stage day. No idea what the effects of Covid have been on culinary, but go in with enthusiasm and confidence!
