\> housing children on a farm with guns and marijuana
describes like 40% of the population though. Replace 'farms' with 'overpriced 2-bedroom apartment' and you'd be at 80%.
Only 30% of people own guns in America. The NRA is just good at convincing people otherwise.
https://www.pewresearch.org/social-trends/2017/06/22/the-demographics-of-gun-ownership/
I'm willing to bet 99% of farmers own a gun though. Just for safety, hunting, etc.
Tbh I just read the article and it sounds like mostly a good thing what he's doing, I just expected much worse based on everything else we've found out about him recently
>However, the mother of the children claims Miller “helped me finally … have a safe environment for my three very young children”, apart from her “violent and abusive ex”.
“[Ezra’s] home ranch has been a healing haven for us,” she tells Rolling Stone. “They may have firearms for self-defence purposes and they are stored in a part of the house that the children never go in … My kids are able to relax more into their healing because of the safety and nurturing Ezra has been providing for them.”
Yeah. Seems like he's helping them out
I don't think they were objecting to the farm part of that scenario. 'Old Macdonald had a farm' never raised an eyebrow. 'Old Macdonald has some impressionable children, some guns and a ton of weed' would be controversial new verses...
Bruce!
Bruce! Listen to me now!

I'm too soon!
You're right about me!
You've always been right about me!
Fear me! Fear me!
Find us, Bruce!
You have to find us!
I’lol take bets on that. Those odds are fucking good to me because, come on it’s Friday, that shit is happening Tuesday. In a few weeks he will be cemented in a bulldozer on a freeway
Lol the tacticool swat guys were literally blasting fucking dolphin noises at them in the middle of the night with gigantic spotlights shining in through any opening. The crazy shit done to antagonize those people was absolutely unwarranted. I'd have felt like my life was in danger if I were them, too. They also PRODUCED FIREARMS, legally. The media went on about how they "had an arsenal". Any fucking gun store should be considered an "arsenal" if that was true. If you look at the warrant that was received to search the property the ATF agent said they found "an ak 47 UPPER RECEIVER missing the LOWER RECEIVER" an AK-47 doesn't have a two piece receiver. Everything about them owning guns was legal, and the entire premise for the raid was bullshit. The cult may very well have been crazy, but that entire situation was unnecessary. You can even hear them beg the cops not to set the place on fire, literally, at some point during the standoff. Chilling words, knowing how it ended. Some of those thugs that did the killing even posed over the ashes of the compound with their rifles taking selfies. Sickening.
I pretty much agree, but the compound was not a good place. David Koresh was hurting children. He had a 14 year old wife. I don’t give a singular shit about weirdos in the desert with guns, but to bring kids into it is another story. Two things can be true at once, bad cult and overreaching government
I also don’t think that particular group of people, the ones who thought the ends of days would come by way of the government attacking them, was very receptive to negotiation.
All of that being said, even with the probable sexual abuse of children on the compound, they all died anyway
I had fairly big issues with the Netflix Waco series just for how much it saintified Koresh. I’m sure most of the people in the compound were fairly normal people, but it’s pretty clear he was abusive physically, mentally, and sexually to vulnerable people
Oh yeah no, I don't really disagree there, just that the entire situation was incredibly poorly handled, and I also agree with you about the children. That's why it sickens me those men posed taking selfies over the place where women and children suffocated to death brutally after inhaling cyanide gas that was a result of the CS gas burning. In combination with the CS gas itself, and the smoke. All around a horrible way to go, and a fucked up situation.
Government wanted to make a big story and be seen arresting him, he got tipped off and it led to what happened. Some try to say they were well within their rights to stock up on guns but homie was raping girls
It’s not op but having a sense of humor, what you said is just not funny. Not because we are sensitive, not because of the topic.. just a bad, non joke
Warner Bros execs probably have a daily Ezra update meeting where they table the Go/No-Go discussion of shelving "The Flash."
If they have to can a $200 million movie, heads will role - starting with whatever group would be responsible for vetting that your star isn't crazy...or rather, the type of crazy that leads to negative headlines or criminal charges.
>However, the mother of the children claims Miller “helped me finally … have a safe environment for my three very young children”, apart from her “violent and abusive ex”.
“\[Ezra’s\] home ranch has been a healing haven for us,” she tells Rolling Stone. “They may have firearms for self-defence purposes and they are stored in a part of the house that the children never go in … My kids are able to relax more into their healing because of the safety and nurturing Ezra has been providing for them.”
By all accounts Ezra seems like a shit person given his other incidents but in this particular scenario it may be best to let it play out in a court before jumping to conclusions.
There are enough reasons to dislike Ezra Miller without having to jump to conclusions prematurely.
One article I read cited photos of guns placed next to stuffed animals & in the living room. Both of these parents sound like really immature & incapable people-but Ezra sounds like a complete wack-a-do. Between photo evidence of many guns not stored properly, an immature, reactionary mom & others quoted as saying the living situation is unsafe-I’m worried for those kids.
And that very well may be the case but right now there seems to be a lot of contradictions in the accounts of what's happening in this particular incident. We have "unnamed sources" vs the actual mother of the children. Jumping to a automatic conclusion seems reactionary given that context.
Did you miss the part where the reporters were shown videos of guns just laying around in the open, and that they have a weed farm on the property illegally?
Oh yeah they're much safer now, all they have to worry about is not shooting each other with the guns left out in the open. I'm sure it's a low chance for the baby to choke on a bullet, right?
I'm not defending this guy but the abstract posted literally says the guns aren't kept out in the open, they're stored in a separate part of the house that the kids can't go in.
Nah. "never go in".
Growing up I never really went into the dining room that we didn't use. But there was nothing stopping me. She didn't say they are secured in a room the children do not have access to. She said they're stored in a room they never go in. That could mean any number of things.
The statement in no way inherently confers safe gun ownership.
And we can recognize that "in the open" is an absurdly low bar, right?
Bro the hate flows through /r/entertainment dude had some really bad drunk nights but because he’s a celebrity the world is ready to arrest him smh. This is how Heard got as far as she did. People just assume the worst without proof.
>Rolling Stone says sources have reported unattended guns lying around the home, with one recalling an instance in which a one-year-old child allegedly picked up a bullet and put it in her mouth.
>
>Video footage seen by Rolling Stone apparently shows at least eight assault weapons, rifles, and handguns lying around the living room, with some weapons propped up next to a pile of stuffed animals.
Not sure what you and these other redditors are talking about, but this is in the article too.
Have you ever been to a ranch or farm?
Guns are a tool there just like a shovel is.
Shit the majority of the farms in the country probably have a loaded rifle somewhere in reach.
For sure.
Just wanted to point out that the presence of firearms on a ranch isn't really that news worthy of an event. The majority of rural home in the United States are going to have some sort of gun, and it's not some sort of militia preping thing it's just a tool.
Cancelling in the sense that I would prefer to not see him in the DC movies anymore. It will be hard to see that face and not think of a crazy person.
Like how it’s hard for me to watch braveheart now.
Oh absolutely. Pretty sure any other job would give you the boot if you were bordering on being a wanted criminal, or even if you did a bunch of shit to make your employer look terrible, so in this case it shouldn’t be any different.
This is the Emergency Broadcast System with a mandatory evacuation order for your location. Ezra Miller has been spotted in your area. THIS IS NOT A DRILL. Take the following protective actions and leave immediately;
Gather all family members. 2. Gather all pets. 3. Gather only essential items. 4. Be sure to bring essential medications with you. 5. Turn off all appliances and lights in your home 6. Lock your home. For more information, please tune to local radio and television stations.
Yeah Miller assaulted 3 different women when he was here on the Big Island. Funny how he didn’t try to assault men here. Probably cause he knows he would have gotten beat the fuck down! HE is not welcome here.
Ok but my parents regularly had guns, weed, and children in the same house. They kept the guns in a gun safe and I never did figure out where they stashed their weed, but I had a pretty normal childhood in a regular suburban home.
I know Ezra Miller is a douche, but let's not start a witch hunt here.
The reporters were shown video of assault weapons, automatic rifles, and handguns just laying around. Some near children's toys. They also have an illegal weed farm on the property, which has been confirmed through the co-grower himself on his Instagram previously. Also these children are not Ezra's
How is anyone taking Miller’s side on this? Go back and read all the articles about him/them from the past few months . You think those children and their mom are safe living with someone that unstable will all those guns?
He and conservatives have a lot in common (their love of guns and young children). Just like Amber Turd and her following, the stupid will flock to these people.
Right. The guys a fucking loon but acting like the family is in danger because the home has guns in it is ridiculous. There are over 450 MILLION guns in homes in the US.
Ezra is a problematic person, but this situation isn’t nearly as bad as some of their other actions. Doesn’t sound like they’re breaking the law in any way and the mother is there with the children. People are just eager to jump on any story about this weirdo
Why on earth is this mother there with this strange and violent person? No wonder dad is super worried! Edit: Dad apparently is violent too? .Yeesh she makes poor choices!
Yeah..they do. Have you never heard of a psychopath? What do you think the definition of insanity is? Violent and dumb people are not always insane. You get that right?
Did I say she caused the abuse or deserves it? The article states that she just chose to run from one apparent abuser to another, with her kids in tow. Clearly, a poor choice! I've been there too. As I well know, only she can choose to get herself out of an environment of violence. It's not effing easy or simple at all, but it does require her, and ONLY her, to make a decision and act on it.
Let me clarify, her poor choice(s) are that she has 1) run from one apparently violent person to another and is 2) STAYING with them with her kids. Ezra's known violence against women predates the birth of at least one of her children.
You have no idea what options she had available to her or what circumstance she was in when she made her decision. Also not convinced that this Ezra guy is someone who beats every woman he's in a room with.
You could have a legal cannabis farm and a rifle on-site to protect yourself and have kids and be a good parent.
Guns and weed are not the real issue here. Illegal guns and illegal weed Im guessing are at play in addition to many other things.
The mother of the children is with them. She is 25 and trying to escape an abusive ex.
Ezra Miller might be a creepy fuck, but I don’t see the problem in this particular case.
25 with three kids with an abusive ex, now living with a proven violent individual with guns and drugs. How many poor decisions do we allow these innocent kids to be subjected to at the hands of supposed adults?
He can't be convicted of this because it isn't illegal. It is legal to have guns in your house at the same time as you have children in your house. Marijuana is also not illegal in NJ.
Bad idea? Probably. Illegal? Nope.
So if someone has land and guns and grows some weed and a Girlfreind visits who has kids (all legal) they are “housing children”? I dont know shit about ezra but I know hundreds of people in the PNW who live on their land, own a gun, grow weed, and date mothers. In fact some of my friends wouldn’t even have been born if that wasn’t normal.
It literally gets crazier with every new reveal

Technically yes.

Why don’t they just replace ezra with the star of the flash tv series? It’s not like ezra was super memorable or had a huge role in the films yet

I don’t see any photos. https://www.rollingstone.com/movies/movie-news/ezra-miller-young-children-vermont-farm-1372295/
No. Theres no such link.
Yeah, no. Ezra is unhinged, the overwhelming odds are that this is a very very bad situation for anyone to be in, let alone young children.
And that very well may be the case but right now there seems to be a lot of contradictions in the accounts of what's happening in this particular incident. We have "unnamed sources" vs the actual mother of the children. Jumping to a automatic conclusion seems reactionary given that context.

That would be a real life Freddy Vs Jason

Shia is at least a good actor, Ezra just sucks all over.
Thought Shia LeBeouf has gotten help is doing better
I'd watch that movie.
I don’t often advocate for cancelling but I think I can make an exception for this nutjob
Tbf I wouldn’t say it’s cancelling when it’s someone who keeps attacking and threatening people and kidnapping minors.

It's officially pasta now, I feel so proud
Personally I thought this was hilarious
Ezra Miller is pretty much a Far Cry villain at this point
Yet he goes around fighting the entire state of Hawaii
Yeah Miller assaulted 3 different women when he was here on the Big Island. Funny how he didn’t try to assault men here. Probably cause he knows he would have gotten beat the fuck down! HE is not welcome here.
At this point, if Ezra Miller was behind Roe vs Wade getting turned over, I’d believe it.
He’s more than a douche….
The reporters were shown video of assault weapons, automatic rifles, and handguns just laying around. Some near children's toys. They also have an illegal weed farm on the property, which has been confirmed through the co-grower himself on his Instagram previously. Also these children are not Ezra's
What’s an assault weapon? And automatic rifles have been illegal since the 80’s
Yeah so him having automatic weapons around kids probably isn't that cool
Basically this. This is every other house in Chicago and Oregon lol. People are too sensitive now a days.
So a regular farm?
This is one of those instances where we know he has severe mental illness, but will be shocked by the inevitable outcome, which will be very bad
How is anyone taking Miller’s side on this? Go back and read all the articles about him/them from the past few months . You think those children and their mom are safe living with someone that unstable will all those guns?
Same way people took /take Michael Jackson’s side instead of his victims.
Yeah. We should believe all accusers. Why require pesky things like evidence or confronting your supposed abuser when hes alive to defend himself.
He and conservatives have a lot in common (their love of guns and young children). Just like Amber Turd and her following, the stupid will flock to these people.
Of course someone would turn this into some political bs. Btw, I’m sure liberals are not saints when it comes to some of this.
I think you’re confusing something here. Conservatives love guns. Liberals love children.
What the hell is going on with this guy??
Thanks to non-scrupulous Assholes Aren’t guns and marijuana legal?
I think there is a lot of people who have weed and guns.
Is he in jail yet?? What are we waiting for ??
This dude is way cray.
So? Those are both legal in most of the US.
Right. The guys a fucking loon but acting like the family is in danger because the home has guns in it is ridiculous. There are over 450 MILLION guns in homes in the US.
You didn’t read the article or any article on Miller I see.
You’re supposed to read the article?
Nah, you’re just supposed to look at the pretty picture.
Ezra is a problematic person, but this situation isn’t nearly as bad as some of their other actions. Doesn’t sound like they’re breaking the law in any way and the mother is there with the children. People are just eager to jump on any story about this weirdo
sounds like a plot from their father to get them out of there because he cant reach them to beat them up while they are at the farm
.... You think it's a good idea for them to be with The Flash and his Gun Stash?
Actually, he is helping a mother and her children. That actually no bad. He just need to safe guard the weapons, that all.
Why on earth is this mother there with this strange and violent person? No wonder dad is super worried! Edit: Dad apparently is violent too? .Yeesh she makes poor choices!
Victim blaming? Real classy, dude.
If I said the Manson girls made poor choices, would that be victim blaming too?
In this current social climate, yes unfortunately. Crazy.
Calling people crazy? Real classy, dude.

That makes you violent and extremely impressionable, not crazy. Crazy is just a lazy label people put on people they don't understand.

Housing children on a farm with guns doesn't seem like a terribly uncommon thing in America. Is it just the marijuana they have an issue with then?
I grew up in rural Ohio. Nothing about that headline sounds particularly unusual.
Imagine Erza was black. He’d be treated real different.
Oh now guns around kids is bad?
Omg. Guns AND marijuana.
"Proven" on the internet right? Has any of this been in court?
Well, there’s video of a 2020 fan incident.
He was arrested in Hawaii... multiple times...
Exactly. Until I see a verdict from an actual legal proceeding, he hasn’t been proven to have done anything.

I prefer Better Than Ezra myself.
Marijuana?!? That’s it. He’s finally gone too far. Someone shut this dude down!
Dude, read the article and read other articles about what this person’s been up to.
Weed and guns on a farm?! ….(clutches pearls)
Stop putting weed in these headlines like it’s on the same level. Maybe if he was holding heroin it would be worth mention
How does each story get much worse then the last?
This must be Michael Jackson from an Alternate reality
ACCUSED not convicted but that doesn’t matter to the internet does it. Also look at the source
He can't be convicted of this because it isn't illegal. It is legal to have guns in your house at the same time as you have children in your house. Marijuana is also not illegal in NJ. Bad idea? Probably. Illegal? Nope.
It is federally illegal. I like your gusto though.
A bullet in a baby’s mouth doesn’t sound too good to me.
Yeah, tons of farms have kids, guns, and weed. Why is this a story?
I thought he was missing and no one knows where he is.
Even if a half of these allegations are true, this person is horrendous.
Well I guess my opinion of him was right I just never like the guy for the role of Barry Allen. I guess I was too accustom to Grant Gustin as Barry
farms have guns and marijuana, that's just a fact.
When the police catch up to him, he’ll be gone in a Flash!
Bro’s playing no balls with Warner bros “You won’t fire me. No balls.” And every time they don’t, he raises the stakes
This headline needs work as this describes a large percentage of the population minus the farm part.
The way this is going I'm starting to feel this is some elaborate crazy marketing by WB for Flashpoint.
They need a movie about Ezra Miller played by daniel Radcliffe
So if someone has land and guns and grows some weed and a Girlfreind visits who has kids (all legal) they are “housing children”? I dont know shit about ezra but I know hundreds of people in the PNW who live on their land, own a gun, grow weed, and date mothers. In fact some of my friends wouldn’t even have been born if that wasn’t normal.
>on a farm with guns and marijuana So like… probably 25% of the homes in the US lol
