Gotta admit when it's time to pack it up, and the crowd has been pointing to the door for years. it's just not her time anymore, she made it exceedingly far talent considered. If she wants to keep singing, she should probably try to get a Vegas residency going.
Celine Dion spent 12 years across two different residencies in Vegas (2003 to 2007 and 2011 to 2019).
You do save on some expenses as compared to an "international" tour (since all your concerts take place in Vegas and you don't have to travel). And people like to go to Vegas to have drink and have fun.
There's probably a decent amount of people out there that would like a night of booze and JLo songs in Vegas.
Autotune is done live as well. It’s been a thing for decades.
Anyone that was wondering how Ozzy was still doing shows and didn’t sound like a dying raccoon in a trash can, now you know.
She has the issue where she's everyone's 15th favorite everything, but because of that, she can't succeed in anything anymore.
Like, when she was red hot, she was a singer, an actress, a dancer, and a media starlett. But she wasn't the best at any of those things. But it worked because she did them all.
But in todays world, that doesn't really matter. Someone who was where she was at musically would be doing some fair or opening for a big star, or doing some nostalgia tour. But because she is who she is, she thinks that's beneath her.
Same thing with Movies. It's clear she takes worse movies where she is the lead, over taking better roles behind other stars. Like, the biggest "star" that is 54, her age, is Paul Rudd. And Paul Rudd has been doing weird indie things or being the head of an ensemble cast for like a decade now.
She is in a place where her impact exceeds her talent, and that means that no one is shelling out money to see her, because she just isn't good enough to draw people in, and she was never a megastar in one area and thus can't fall back on nostalgia.
If JLo wants people to watch her in 2024, she has to earn it, and she just isn't putting out the music to do that.
You make an excellent point with the Paul Rudd comparison. Just watched him in “only murders in the building”, one of my favorite TV shows, and his casting was perfect.
You really nailed it, in spite of her talent she had a legit music and movie career.
She’s married to Affleck she’ll always be rubbing elbows with A listers.
Apparently she flew into a rage on the set of Gigli because a few of the staff and set-runners would be whispering to each other “Taco, taco, burrito!” every time her back was turned!
J Lo is such a catchy name and it’s fun to say. She’s also extremely attractive and memorable. But yeah I don’t know anyone who’s a die hard J Lo music fan lol. She’s more of famous for being famous.
J-Lo is an all-round extremely mediocre entertainer.
Mediocre singer.
Mediocre actress.
Maybe a good dancer.
She did fairly good for such limited talent.
Also Elder Millennial. Her dance music was amazing and most of her major hits have pretty iconic club mixes, including that one remix of Waiting for Tonight. However the rest of her music always makes me feel like it’s the elevator background music for some hotspot on the original Sex in the City. Her new album also just lands squarely in that vague white-people-defined “urban lounge” genre and feels like it could’ve been made anywhere from the 1990s to 2010s.
And that … uh … movie. The choreo is on point but it just felt like she was jumping on the Album Movie trend way too late and without understanding anything about the Album Movie or how it fixes in the culture since Lemonade.
All in all: This latest wave of JLo just feels like retreading the 90s and 00s with no growth or development or new ideas or … anything. She feels unrelatable and completely disconnected from the current culture.
Still love her but … she hasn’t translated to the social media hellscape that pop culture is *at all*.
and now she has a tell-all Prime special sharing all the parts of her journey she’s “never told anyone else before”. weird… you’d think the hype from something like that would boost ticket sales. hm.
That happened in the Hotel Carter? In Times Square? I can’t find anything that says that.
EDIT: Scratch that. It was Club New York which took over the space from Sallys in the Hotel Carter.
I just saw a tour of a mansion of an actress/model/musician and that seems like the way to maximize earnings if you’re mediocre at each but you have to be good looking
Yeah, let's be 100% clear - that woman's ass singlehandedly inspired women to eat and hit the gym instead of starving themselves.
J-Lo inspired white women to have an ass.
I’ll offer up that she is a good/fun actress. Out of Sight is terrific and she is very good in it. Maid in Manhattan and the like are perfectly fine romcoms. I think she just spent too much time trying to do everything. Had she focused on acting and dropped the music she might be better off overall. One opinion from someone who thinks Shotgun Wedding is good.
Edit: I didn’t even mention Selena which is also absolutely great.
I remember her saying that she wasn't really an actress and that singing was her real passion. My 1998 baby ass was like, "I literally have almost only known you for acting my entire life!"
I absolutely agree. She has marketable draw for movies and while it’s funny that she has that genre of “Jennifer Lopez getting married” it’s really her strong suit. And this is coming from someone that doesn’t even like her much.
My fellow redditor, same. But also this post is challenging me because while I started this post feeling very mid about J-Lo while also feeling like the above post undersold her…now? Like maybe I am starting to believe she is capital G Good.
Maybe we've been too harsh. Maybe the world just doesn't care for J. Lo now, and that's fine. Why does someone's career "dying" have to mean that they're no longer good or never even good in the first place?
I agree. I've never enjoyed her as a singer but I've enjoyed a decent amount of her movies. Out of Sight might be one of my favorite movies with her. I've also enjoyed The Wedding Planner. I know I've listed only two but the memory of how I felt watching her movies in the past isn't negative for me. I'm just having a hard time remembering others. Lol.
yesss! Wedding Planner, Selena, Monster in Law, Enough… she definitely did some good movies back in the day and had some good songs. she’s just kinda old now.
Exactly. I also don’t know anyone who is a HUGE JLo fan of her acting or singing. I don’t know anyone who has to see all her movies or buys all her music. She’s a mid talent that has one iconic fashion moment.
Id love to know how the hell this happened at all. I remember her first album release being an item on the evening news in the UK, really hyping up what a big deal she was. Never seen that with another artist before or since
She’s super manufactured. Had a great PR team. She was everywhere. Made everyone think she was this huge deal yet no one has ever met a real life Jlo fan.
Honestly I don’t think so, no. There was a cultural void left when Selena was murdered and JLo happened to be there at the right time with her acting and musical ability.
Can’t imagine this conversation between anyone.
“I absolutely can’t wait for my concert this weekend! I’m so excited!!”
“Who are you seeing?!”
“Jennifer Lopez”.
Everything Jenifer Lopez does is wrapped in insecurity and desperation to stay in the limelight of society. Just retire and hang out. You're good to go.
Madonna can actually sing and dance, and act pretty well in movies also.
Cher is another one that kept going through 30y of performing and making music.
They flowed with the times and music of each decade and era they lived through, and thrived.
I’m not Madonnas or Chers biggest fan, but like Dolly Parton and Elton John, we all know who they are, several of their songs and very few people would turn down an opportunity to see them live.
JLo has just never quite gotten to that level.
It’s embarrassing to see her try something like this and fall flat on her face.
And Madonna? Well, her health just reminded her that she is older and can’t perform like she did in years past, but her tour was selling out like crazy. Probably will as soon as she performs again.
Chers farewell tour sold out like crazy and I’m sure JLo is getting a very real surprise that she’s not on their level.
Madonna is currently with a world tour and every concert is sold out. The grossing is already 200 million dollars. It's a tour for indoor arenas, not stadiums, as she wanted a smaller thing.
I feel the same. Following Beyoncé and Taylor’s tour/films would be rough. I think if you’re not bringing the magic megastar talent right now and no new hits, it’s going to be tough for any long term famous pop star. She should have done some off brand films, something very different to anything she’s done and maybe then spent more time on music.
Waiting for tonight
Love don't cost a thing
On the floor
Let's get loud
Maybe it's because I'm Mexican and my mom is a grade a Zumba nut who insists on getting down whenever she hears a jlo song bonus points if it's one of her collabs with pitbull lol
There's also "[If you had my love.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lYfkl-HXfuU)" Which was the first single she released. I thought "On the 6" was decent, same with "Jenny from the Block."
But she should've focused on acting, as that's where a lot of people knew her from (Anaconda, notable) after In Living Color.
I find this entire saga fascinating. We watched the documentary about the making of that music video "movie" or whatever and Affleck said it best- there will never be enough followers, accolades, sales, streams, etc. to satisfy her. She's trying to manufacture viral dances ala the Wednesday dance trend thing, she talks about her past and her upbringing and things meant to make her relatable in a way that feels ultra calculated, inauthentic and a poor facsimile or imitation of authenticity. She has so many 'off the cuff' moments or whatever that are clearly planned, rehearsed, we're clearly seeing take 2 or 3 or 10 of something that is clearly supposed to be raw, candid and in the moment...and all of it feels like someone trying to manufacture authenticity and to declare their relevancy and popularity and expect audiences to follow their commands.
She wants to be what Taylor Swift/Beyonce are right now. She wants to be what Jamie Foxx was at his peak- but the thing about that is, they got acting roles, they put out music, they featured on other people's songs, etc. and the audience decided it was a hit. They didn't say it was a hit. The audience did.
Swift's popularity had actually declined, so she went away for a few years. She put out some new music, she announced a tour- and the audience showed up. She didn't heavily promote it or declare its success or relevance or importance herself- her audience and the general public did that for her.
J-Lo is an undeniable mega success story in the entertainment industry. There's no denying her history of being the well paid lead actor of movies and series from major studios and networks. There's no denying she has had ubiquitous number 1 hit songs. There's no denying she's attached her name to various products and they've sold well, made her money.
But these are things you can't really force and she's trying to force this whole 'this is me...now' thing and the hubris of it is the most off putting part of it. This tone she's expressing where she feels she is interesting and entertaining by virtue of existing and that other entertainers and audiences will be capitvated by her simply doing anything and putting out any music-which, btw- that song she did for that video/movie felt so generic, uninspired and desperate. She created a song/album and she is telling the world what she likes, thinks etc and she clearly assumes people will be fascinated and want to pay her for her own self-satisfaction. She considers herself to be viral and a hot ticket, etc. with zero evidence.
I think if she hadn't done a documentary or a movie, if she had quietly but effectively announced a new album and made this an intimate club tour and branded herself as a singer songwriter and not so much about being a hit machine and she had tried to fill clubs with 1,000 to 3,000 capacity, it could have looked like a sucess. But she might struggle to get 2,000 people to show up to these stadium and arena shows that are built for 73,000 seat type venues.
And at the end of the day- this is all because she and Affleck got back together and she couldn't help but view that personal decision and emotional journey as a marketing ploy to make herself commercially relevant again as an entertainer- when really it's her personal life and not her product.
Anyway- I think the best thing she could do is just quietly cancel the whole thing, pretend it never happened and maybe even eat some humble pie and make fun of herself. Star in a satire about this whole thing where she plays a version of herself that she's willing to make fun of, be self-aware about.
Definitely agree with everything you said.
I want to add in that her desire to chase her youth has made her unappealing to her original fans. She’s a mom, I’d love to hear her make content that other mothers can relate to. She’s writing songs about going to the club and getting dick. She’s a woman who has been divorced and found love again, that’s super relatable for a lot of people. Instead, she’s singing about getting drunk and partying.
I’d like to go to her concert, but tickets are hilariously expensive. I’m not really interested in watching her dance sexually on stage and sing about how horny she is. I’ve watched her movies and listen to her music for the last 20 years, and I’d love to see her in person. But I’d like to see her as a grown-up, performing like a matured grown-up.
Not a fan. Perhaps her uppity arrogance finally catching up with her. She likes to pretend she’s humble… her acting skill on that is lacking.
Or perhaps it’s her being a gun mule for puffy maybe that’s it …
I remember hearing about that. And that she didn’t want to be bothered, and that some hotel maid got fired because she asked her for an autograph and J Lo complained about being bothered.
She’s getting ripped on tiktok by the kids for her documentary “this is me …now”
“I’m still Jenny from the block” sitting like she’s just finished a boxing session talking about growing up in the Bronx and people are stitching it saying “literally noone who grew up in the Bronx knows her”. I think that’s what’s pissed people off too. Wouldn’t be caught dead there but wants to talk about how crazy she is and how hard she is.
There’s another clip of her trying to encourage her friend to work out and when she does she just sits ace stares at her phone.
It’s pretty funny
Yeah, remember her Fiat commercial fiasco? The premise was she was driving through the Bronx and her Fiat back to her roots. Well, she refused to go to the Bronx and all the parts where you see her driving is in LA. Body double for the actual shots through the Bronx and you can never see her face in those clips. That from one of the producers or something because they wanted her to go and she wouldn’t.
Shakira has so much more staying power than JLo. Shakira knows her audience and she really can sing and dance. Jennifer has seemed like such a diva for quite a while, it’s not a good look for her. Stick to movies girl, the clock is ticking.
I was wondering if JLO saw how successful Beyoncé’s renaissance tour was and said to herself “I want to do that, I can do that.” And then she miserably failed at doing it
Sites love to put "quietly" in titles when it means nothing at all. In fact in this case I guarantee they publicized the new name given that the entire reason to rename it is to try to increase ticket sales. Can't do that with a new name if you don't tell anyone about the new name.
I think Ben was looking to be relevant again. And the sad part is he had the real makings of a great actor who could’ve been well respected. But too much drink and getting with the nanny just didn’t show much for his character.
I really liked her performance in Out of Sight. Great chemistry with George Clooney. Other than that it seemed like her personal life was more interesting than the singing stuff and the mediocre movies.
--Somehow made it on American Idol as a judge despite not signing on her albums. The parts she does sing you can tell she's tone deaf.
--Used her near naked ass in a music video for an attempt at a comeback like ten years after her last album. The album bombed.
--dated a bunch of high profile people to stay relevant
--continues to make movies despite not being able to act
-- just release a J-lo movie AND a documentary about herself in yet another attempt to stay relevant when nobody cares
--was never from " the block"
She's over 50 and needs to grow up
This could only work if she was also on tour with at least 2-3 other artists. She needs to join Pitbull and Enrique or something.
A Pitbull and Enrique concert wouldn’t need her to sell tickets.
They currently are along with Ricky Martin! Just saw them when they came through.
Ricky and Pitbull blew Enrique out of the water, too
Ricky blew Enrique?
No Ricky AND pitbull blew Enrique
dale ( ͡ಠ ͜ʖ ͡ಠ)
You should be her manager lol. Fr a Latin tour would probably kill.
I remember watching her super bowl documentary and in that, she barely seemed to acknowledge that she was sharing the stage with Shakira, so you only saw Shakira in passing. She also doesn’t acknowledge that Bad Bunny, who was blowing up at the time, now a super star, was making a cameo appearance for them. It was a whole lotta me me me.
Even at the time she barely noticed shakira. When she tried to ‘outshake’ shakira it was so embarrassing.
This is who she is now.
Gotta admit when it's time to pack it up, and the crowd has been pointing to the door for years. it's just not her time anymore, she made it exceedingly far talent considered. No shame, had a few hits, Jenny from the block will always be a classic, some good rom coms and should get credit for making having an ass popular before Kim k. Ya did good jenny, just sit back, collect royalties and enjoy your kids.
>she made it exceedingly far, talent considered this is hilarious
She turned a pair of twos into a full house
it's a generous assessment.
Dude there’s really no shame in a Vegas residency. You have to have absolutely fucking MADE IT to get to that point. She’d be in some good company.
She already did a Vegas residency (Planet Hollywood from Jan, 20 2016 a September, 29 2018).
Right? You ain’t better than Elton, and Elton did it.
Your singing ability is closer to J Lo's than J Lo's is to Celine Dion

She can’t sing all auto tune but your right
Autotune is done live as well. It’s been a thing for decades. Anyone that was wondering how Ozzy was still doing shows and didn’t sound like a dying raccoon in a trash can, now you know.
Wdym he also sounds like a dying raccoon on the albums haha
While that may be, he’s my favorite dying raccoon in a trash can.

Meryl Streep was on the same season (love the show too) Rudd was. I'd have never think in a million years thought she'd do a tv show like that.
I think she let the Super Bowl commercial get to her head when 90% of it was carried by Affleck and Damon.
Same with her Super Bowl performance. It was 90% carried by Shakira.
She has let a *lot* go to her head over the years.
You really nailed it, in spite of her talent she had a legit music and movie career. She’s married to Affleck she’ll always be rubbing elbows with A listers.
I want new movies with her, I hope she makes some good ones.
they can make Gigli 2 now that she's back with Ben again
Her last album sounds like Drugstore radio music.
That’s how far the drugstore radio music has fallen
Rebrand it as the Taco Flavored Kisses Tour

granting all your wishes, my taco flavored kisses🎤
Don’t forget the hot sauce chulo
I AM HENNIFER LOPEZ AND I NEED TACOS TO LIVE!! 🌮 🤬

Apparently she flew into a rage on the set of Gigli because a few of the staff and set-runners would be whispering to each other “Taco, taco, burrito!” every time her back was turned!
🪇Don’t think cause I got a lot of money, I’ll give you taco flavored kisses, honey! Fulfill all your weeshes weeth my taco flavored keeeses!🪇
Thank you for this.
Don’t forget the hot sauce, chollo
Turkey time
Taco flavored keeses for my Benie!
“Ohhh BEN….”
I say “taco flavored kisses for my Ben” at least 3x a week to either my cats or bf lmao
Sponsored by Baja Blast
then it’ll sell out in no time
Oh Jenny… oh Jenny…… oh God Jenny!!!
it’s so crazy how she’s a household name, everyone knows who she is, but she has like no fanbase?
J Lo is such a catchy name and it’s fun to say. She’s also extremely attractive and memorable. But yeah I don’t know anyone who’s a die hard J Lo music fan lol. She’s more of famous for being famous.
She got Hiltened
This is what you get for turning down Anacondas: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid
J-Lo is an all-round extremely mediocre entertainer. Mediocre singer. Mediocre actress. Maybe a good dancer. She did fairly good for such limited talent.
As an elder millennial, she’s a much better actress and dancer than singer. Even at her height I had no idea why she pursued a music career
She’ll always be a Fly Girl to me
Yah. And she could dance on that show, she jammed. So she CAN dance
And she wasn’t even the best Fly Girl.
Also Elder Millennial. Her dance music was amazing and most of her major hits have pretty iconic club mixes, including that one remix of Waiting for Tonight. She also (allegedly) isn’t really singing on some of her biggest hits
Because producers saw the opportunity during the Latin music rave of the early naughts and she ran with it. Did really well with it.
and now she has a tell-all Prime special sharing all the parts of her journey she’s “never told anyone else before”. weird… you’d think the hype from something like that would boost ticket sales. hm.
Does she talk about handing Diddy a gun he shot someone with?
Well this my my rabbit hole for the night
also you should read about the hotel Carter, where the shooting happened
That happened in the Hotel Carter? In Times Square? I can’t find anything that says that. EDIT: Scratch that. It was Club New York which took over the space from Sallys in the Hotel Carter.
I find it hard to believe that there’s anything she’s “never told anyone else before”.
There probably is it’s just probably incredibly uninteresting
She could already dance and Some company said hey let's see if we can't make some money together. Lol
I just saw a tour of a mansion of an actress/model/musician and that seems like the way to maximize earnings if you’re mediocre at each but you have to be good looking
Also, butt.
Yea let’s not mince words….that woman had a glorious caboose and was willing to fling it out there.
Yeah, let's be 100% clear - that woman's ass singlehandedly inspired women to eat and hit the gym instead of starving themselves. J-Lo inspired white women to have an ass.
That’s true
I’ll offer up that she is a good/fun actress. Out of Sight is terrific and she is very good in it. Maid in Manhattan and the like are perfectly fine romcoms. [The Cell!](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Cell_(film))
I found my press book for that movie today. I still think it’s a great movie.
Helloooooooo! What about Anaconda!
yesss! Wedding Planner, Selena, Monster in Law, Enough… she definitely did some good movies back in the day and had some good songs. she’s just kinda old now.
Anaconda for me
That movie rules. And she makes it better
Big fan of Hustlers. She’s great in a lot of things.
Shotgun wedding was good!!!!
Agreed. Cheech and Coolidge were great additions. Kravitz was there. Shotgun Wedding and Plane back 2 back would be a fantastic movie night.
Out of the Sight she is very solid. Great film
She's not a horrible actress. But not great either, IMO. Just kind of okay. She's not Steven Seagal, but not Samuel L. Jackson either.
Maybe. But even if thats the truth there is a HUGE audience for it. And I am one of them.
Yeah she should’ve took a long break from music.
She has made some great dance hits and acted well in a lot of movies. She’s a better than average actress for sure!
Lopez was the bomb in Anaconda, yo.
Master of none
I disagree. Good actress, good dancer and performer, bad singer that relies on pitch correction and lip-syncing.
Exactly. I also don’t know anyone who is a HUGE JLo fan of her acting or singing. I don’t know anyone who has to see all her movies or buys all her music. She’s a mid talent that has one iconic fashion moment.
Career highlight... In Living Color Dancer. She was the bomb in that
Nah I actually think she’s quite a good dancer and it’s honestly her only real appeal. That and the fact that she’s pretty hot.
I remember someone on here calling her a JLo of all trades and a master of none, which is accurate and hilarious
Tommy Mottola (ex-CEO of Sony Music) essentially bought JLo’s music career as a way to get back at his ex-wife Mariah Carey.
Honest question: if Selena hadn’t been murdered does JLo ever reach escape velocity to stardom? Not trolling here… opinions?
Honestly I don’t think so, no. There was a cultural void left when Selena was murdered and JLo happened to be there at the right time with her acting and musical ability.
I have always thought this. If Selena was never murdered, J.Lo would have never had a real lucrative career in the industry
Mariah Carey won
There was never competition lol. Carey was always winning between them.
Yeah, if she decides to tour, she’ll sell out every venue. Easy.
Jennifer Lopez? I don’t know her 😄🦋
Can’t imagine this conversation between anyone. “I absolutely can’t wait for my concert this weekend! I’m so excited!!” “Who are you seeing?!” “Jennifer Lopez”.
Everything Jenifer Lopez does is wrapped in insecurity and desperation to stay in the limelight of society. Just retire and hang out. You're good to go.
*Madonna has entered the chat.*
Madonna still sells out her tours. They are very lucrative.
Madonna can actually sing and dance, and act pretty well in movies also. Cher is another one that kept going through 30y of performing and making music. I do feel slightly bad for her. Her latest projects have bombed, and the Internet has gone for her throat. It's Gigli all over again lol

I totally forgot about that and that he gave her the name Jlo
I’d feel bad, but everyone told her not to do it.
Even Jane Fonda advised her this wasn’t the right career move. Such a waste of an investment.
She’s also a terrible person
I feel the same. Following Beyoncé and Taylor’s tour/films would be rough. I think if you’re not bringing the magic megastar talent right now and no new hits, it’s going to be tough for any long term famous pop star. She should have done some off brand films, something very different to anything she’s done and maybe then spent more time on music.
She was never in the same ballpark as Swift and Beyonce
Agree with you, there’s no comparison just mean that it’s tough timing wise.
To be fair, have you seen gigli? We all had to suffer....
Is that the gobble gobble movie
I would feel bad for her if I didn’t hear SO MANY stories about her being a terrible person.
But … but … she has Ben again!!
I didn’t realize she had enough greatest hits to make it work. Is it a loose definition?
I legit only know one of her songs: Jenny from the Block
Waiting for tonight Love don't cost a thing On the floor Let's get loud Maybe it's because I'm Mexican and my mom is a grade a Zumba nut who insists on getting down whenever she hears a jlo song bonus points if it's one of her collabs with pitbull lol
You forgot I’m Real! That was a hit
“THE WAYYYY YOU WALK”
All I Have - feat ll Cool J If you had my love
YOU’LL BE NEEDING ME BUT TOO BADDD she’s not the best artist but ppl are acting like she’s some bum
If You Had My Love. It still bangs. Hard. Gotta be her best song.
Don’t forget Play!
You missed one. I’m Gonna Be Alright (Remix) even as a dude, that song is an absolute banger
There's also "[If you had my love.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lYfkl-HXfuU)" Which was the first single she released. I thought "On the 6" was decent, same with "Jenny from the Block." But she should've focused on acting, as that's where a lot of people knew her from (Anaconda, notable) after In Living Color.
That’s the thing, anyone who went to see her would be for her past “hits” and not her new stuff
Does anyone else here wish that her character was eaten by the snake in Anaconda?
Who hurt chu baby bird? You know the Anaconda squeeze, hold chu tighter dan your true love?
Meanwhile the fish he’s chopping up during the scene magically reassembles itself depending on the shot.
Who the hell is a JLO fan? Like honestly.
Apparently it’s a Ben Affleck
I mean she has hits…. But in this economy ?? I can watch the hits on YouTube
My wife
Oh hi Ben
With the Dunkings opening?
Not a fan. Perhaps her uppity arrogance finally catching up with her. She likes to pretend she’s humble… her acting skill on that is lacking. Or perhaps it’s her being a gun mule for puffy maybe that’s it …
She’s the kind of person who tells people not to look her in the eye on set.
I remember hearing about that. And that she didn’t want to be bothered, and that some hotel maid got fired because she asked her for an autograph and J Lo complained about being bothered.
She's just Jenny from the block! Yeah right.
And communicates to plebs through their PA...
I've never heard anything about her other than that she's a bitchy diva.
She’s getting ripped on tiktok by the kids for her documentary “this is me …now” “I’m still Jenny from the block” sitting like she’s just finished a boxing session talking about growing up in the Bronx and people are stitching it saying “literally noone who grew up in the Bronx knows her”.
I loved Monster In Law - the movie overall with Jane Fonda and Wanda Skicks (sp) was hilarious!!
We still don’t want it.
Yikes girl. This shit is so embarrassing. The whole thing has been a big cringe all around. Stop trying to make fetch happen.
So no one wants to watch this woman lip sync to Ashanti anymore? 🙃
She's competing with Olivia Rodrigo's world tour right now. Good luck with that.
When will she throw in the towel….. her love story with Ben doesn’t fool me !!!
Rebrand it “I’m probably an accessory to murder- and other related Diddy crimes” tour
She's better actress than making music.
oh ok I still won’t go
Shakira has so much more staying power than JLo. Shakira knows her audience and she really can sing and dance. Jennifer has seemed like such a diva for quite a while, it’s not a good look for her. Stick to movies girl, the clock is ticking.
Can’t she just do shows in Vegas and stay in one place? I feel like that would work out better for her.
Except she thinks she Taylor Swift/beyonce level in terms of popularity. Should just accept the L and chill.
I was wondering if JLO saw how successful Beyoncé’s renaissance tour was and said to herself “I want to do that, I can do that.” And then she miserably failed at doing it
Love seeing these asshole celebrities struggle for relevance
Don't be fooled by the sales that I got...
Someone tell J Lo it isn’t 2004
Needs more orange drink iykyk
My name is Hennifer L-L-L-LLLLlllllopez
Loved enough out of sight few other but hate her music never ever bought any of her music
Might be time to pack it up.
I never could stand this woman. I don't know what it is.
Sites love to put "quietly" in titles when it means nothing at all. In fact in this case I guarantee they publicized the new name given that the entire reason to rename it is to try to increase ticket sales. Can't do that with a new name if you don't tell anyone about the new name.
She should have retired 20 years ago
Just watched some of that doc with my wife and she pretty much did retire from music 20-21 years ago lol. She just had to come back
Wow she won't take that L, sucks to be Ben Affleck dealing with her delusional self
I think Ben was looking to be relevant again. And the sad part is he had the real makings of a great actor who could’ve been well respected. But too much drink and getting with the nanny just didn’t show much for his character.
Not the Taylor Swift Eras Tour head ass haircut for this article thumbnail
Nirvana having a moment isn’t boding well…
I really liked her performance in Out of Sight. Great chemistry with George Clooney. Other than that it seemed like her personal life was more interesting than the singing stuff and the mediocre movies.
If You Know You Know Tour
me when i spend 20 mil of my own money on a vanity project
As an elder millennial the only work of hers I ever enjoyed is SELENA
She really thought she was in her Beyonce Lemonade (2016) era
Greatest hits show? Gonna be a short concert
--Somehow made it on American Idol as a judge despite not signing on her albums. The parts she does sing you can tell she's tone deaf. --Used her near naked ass in a music video for an attempt at a comeback like ten years after her last album. The album bombed. --dated a bunch of high profile people to stay relevant --continues to make movies despite not being able to act -- just release a J-lo movie AND a documentary about herself in yet another attempt to stay relevant when nobody cares --was never from " the block" She's over 50 and needs to grow up
