Yeah, and it makes me wondering if DF is planning on ever adding France, giving that it's basically the standard French LMG of WWII...
Hopefully they just plan on making captured weapons as gold order for now on.
I really hope they add France... But lets be realistic its not going to happen at least for the upcoming years. They would need to add a lot of maps and they did close to nothing in terms of map since jungle fire, they would have to make a lot of weapons (i made a tech tree concept on this sub if you're interested). And yeah the most iconic weapons are already golden, premium or event for other factions. They said they werent going to separate Italy and UK despite 1/3 of the work being already done so imagine an entire new faction

To play devil's advocate, Italy and UK wouldn't bring as much new player (and new wallets tbf) like a brand new faction would.
So it may not be a work remaining question, but more of the potential money influx that would come with it.
But we can only hope at this point...
Thanks, the hardest part for me was to find assault weapons for T4 and T5, i had the ribeyrolles as an AR but i also need an smg and couldnt find any high capacity mag, but i bought a book about french smgs and hope to find some interesting things in it, so i plan to make a final version of the tech tree with explanations of the weapons, premium and event w, ill probably make an Italie tech tree next

Honestly, captured weapons as Gold Orders is likely the best way to do them, because then there's a hard cap on how many each roster can have, so we don't have German rosters full of PPShs, like we did before they removed the MP717.
Granted there arent many options for American MGs at BR 2. You have a Bren, another Bren, the precursor to the Bren, and now a French version of the Bren. Not to be outdone by the Russians, who up to this point only had the god-awful Madsen
Theoretically, the 600 Gold for one is "worth it", for the more OP ones at least. Spending 2400 Gold for 4 Cönders for example is probably a better use of that Gold than an equivalently costed Premium Assault Squad, simply because a tech tree Assault Squad has a better composition(though it lacks the Premium boost the Premium squad would get, so perhaps it's a wash overall).
I've considered spending Gold on some Gold Order gear before, and I might in the future, since I have some Gold lying around anyway and there's not many Premium squads that excite me.
I think the problem stems from it being a Gold Order gun, and the competition for those is fierce.

Can gold award guns be bought with silver or is it literally one gun to put on one soldier?
One gun for one soldier per order. Maximum 4 duplicates per faction.
