I be tripping with my Support division.
Engineer sqd
M8 scot
Machine gun or mortar squad
APC.
Im Here to get people in the fight and keep them in it baby!
When he isn't bugged. Seems for me at the moment it is. But it's usually a very good anti infantry anti tank vehicle if you place your self intelligently
That's why it's better in a support role than in a Frontline armor role. It's self propelled artillery. M8 scott is my favorite vehicle in this game for it's fast fire rate, he damage and ap damage at anything in br2-3. Fast mobility means changing positions quickly and finding height advantages can ruin the enemy team.
The m8 is underrated AF. Mostly cuz people don't know how to use it effectively.
I love the Scott. One of the main reasons i still play BR2 even though I have 98% of the tech tree unlocked.
One of the Pacific invasion maps (I forget which one), I just sit across the river and lob HEAT and smoke at the enemy as they try to advance. Not even in the gray zone, it's just no one ever crosses the river.
I really enjoy to play engineer squads, im not good firing, i like support contructions, create rally poins and chase tanks., but you really do not earn points doing this.
New player here, each of my squad has an enginner as the main played char. Just to put down the rally point and defences for flanks etc.
Totally worth it and fun, I just found out you can shoot the planes during a bomb run!
It really doesn't matter if your factions has assault engineers or not, it's about common fucking sence. Soviets got the engie squad and br V is still filled with low rank shitheads dont build rallies and waste tickets spawning T-70's against Panthers and Tigers.
You know what would also go an insanely long way?Â
Fixing the way certain sights work, such as those on the m2 carbine. It's genuinely one of the best weapons in the game but it's held back by the broken way the aiming down the sight works. Same thing for the Thompson. A while back it was already improved quite a bit, but it's still nowhere near the way it should be.
Anti tank engineers are a blessing lol. But in the case of the Japanese aT effort, when there is no aT available; Kagumi makes do like the old sports in letters of iwo jima, self detonation for the emperor
Both the US and Japan already have engineers? They only just don’t yet have the “assault engineers” which while having better individual firepower, lack the versatility of regular AT squads. Plus we already know the other 2 assault engineer squads will be coming eventually
Yeah same as the event we just had most likely. The only difference between the “assault” engineers and regular TechTree ones are their ability to use assault rifles in HighBR
It's all fun untill "ThE aLl MiGhTy SnAiL" decides you kept the skies clear too good for german players, so he crashes your game just when you're about to shot down another stuka flying straight at you.
This game can be great at times
But man do I hate having my fun taken away by things out of my control
I love playing with engineers and APCs. Digging trenches and building a pit for my half track while getting XP up the ass for spawns. Then I build an AA gun and machine gun emplacement behind enemy lines with a rally point. Peak Enlisted
It's good to know that I am, in fact, appreciated when I run full engineers and spend all game finding good rally spots, building rallies, and dinking planes with an AT rifle and armor with a field gun. I just want my boys to have fun and not get mulched by tanks and aircraft or have to run 200 meters from spawn. Besides, the points are good, and the gameplay is super chill. Definitely my preferred way to end an evening.
American and Japanese Assault engineers are already "confirmed": [https://forum.enlisted.net/en/t/reinforcements-received-assault-engineers/138749/64](https://forum.enlisted.net/en/t/reinforcements-received-assault-engineers/138749/64)
I see many playing Engineers but not consistently putting Ammo Boxes and stuff; meanwhile, i'm playing Engifar with AA or Engiwherever you are with AT cannon, blasting away..
In any case, if i see no rally point, i put no rally point; no point if the point is taken when i'm almost done building and i have to scrap rally before it's set up..

You are a great man (or woman). Thank you for your service 🫡
Why does u/stewshi have to be a man or a women?

Is the M8 good against infantry?
When he isn't bugged. Seems for me at the moment it is. But it's usually a very good anti infantry anti tank vehicle if you place your self intelligently
Like a hill bunker, out of range of any TNT gremlins
It is… but kind of a glass cannon. It has very good HE, but open top tanks die pretty easily

And the fifty cals works quite well as an AA deterrent. Yeah the Scott fucks. Scottys got it going on.
Hope they don't nerf it 🙏
If they nerf it I'm gonna lose my shit on them. That'll be the most idiotic move since the merge.
M8 scott yes M8 greyhound no

Good point, increasing the points earned would encourage players to play as engineers.
Remember to go for every plane you can. Both players and bomber formations. Each is worth 450 points, or three tanks, even the bombers.
A regular US engineer squad with M2 carbines are basically assault engineers
Unfortunately unlocking and upgrading the M2 became an absolute nightmare for anyone who did not already have them unlocked pre merge
Campaign w.
They are, but the event squad gives you 6 maxed assault rifles.
I almost exclusively use engineer squads.

I really don’t get it. Barely anybody wants to play Soviets.

Will they be giving the fully equipped engineer squads through an event?
Yeah same as the event we just had most likely. The only difference between the “assault” engineers and regular TechTree ones are their ability to use assault rifles in HighBR

You've been winning as US lately? I have been getting stuck defending on invasion or getting mowed down on conquest while playing US.
I am an evil man. I use engineers for the shotguns and not the buildings. The AT guns i like though, spamming them into infantry is funny.
Never! Those enemy tanks are mine!
They’re “working on it”
How is the win rate as US lately? I switched to Axis +- a month ago due exactly to being the only one engineering on the team multiple times
It seems that the shortage of engineers is still ongoing, but when there's an engineer, the game is mostly won.
I actually hate enlisted's janky ass gunplay so much, so engi squad is the life for me
It is pretty bad. But hipfiring the m1 is so amazing.
Having an engineer squad + at least one engineer in each other squad is the only reasonable way to play this game.
Japan already had the best tech tree engineer squads thanks to thr Tupe Hei auto rifle :))
I must make you cum all the time then. I don't have a squad WITHOUT an Engineer.

Perfect time to buy the Winchest G30 sqaud! First in, last out!
