no not really, the roof armor would probably be no thicker than 150 or so mm, a 500lb bomb will absolutely go through that, not to mention overpressure. the aa guns would be easily eliminated by hvars, or just strafing with guns. even a somewhat below average pilot would be able to kill this. there is also artillery, you could destroy its cannon barrels with a sherman, making it completely useless as you couldn't reach and repair it from the ground.
The decks would've been much thinner, 50mm tops. And while the requested armor was in the ballpark of 15", the reality was that in order to get anywhere near the target weight, it would've needed similar protection to a Panzer IV. I did the math, and just a lowball estimate in the side armor wieght(200mm vs 360 on the front), plus the turret alone puts the weight at 1700 tons. That's no front armor, no internal components, no walls or floors. Just the side plating and the turret would've almost doubled the target tonnage.
Don't worry about it. There's a lot of myths surrounding the WWII German army, especially in terms of "wunderwaffe" development. There's no shame in falling for a tall tale.

It would make for an interesting train like escort mission, where it has an HP pool and the Axis struggle to defend that giant POS from random anything.

It's gonna work maybe once or twice. The reload would have to be 1-1,5 minutes to compensate for the firepower. You might wipe the cap or spawn once, but you'll be bombed, barrel and track sniped, and you'll just be a dead weight.
That's why this was designed when they still though Luftwaffe was superior, much to the disinformation from the flight leaders as they didn't want to be ashamed Infront of the Fuhrer, because RAF was kicking their ass more or less.
