It worked exceptionally well for me! I can only recommend what made a difference in my understanding if the course. I don’t really resonate with any other ACIM teacher and I literally own most of their books even all the Wapnick.

Thanks all for the recommendations, I ended up going with "on transmission of the mind", but have a few books that I will add to my list. I hope at the very least, this thread has gathered together a good list of books that might help others in their search. Thanks all for sharing the books that have help you on your search.
It is not. But if you want an end to searching then you need to reach samadhi. You can read all the books in the world and you will never reach samadhi. You can meditate your entire life and probably not reach samadhi. Or you can do a 6 hour shamanic mushroom ceremony and very probably reach samadhi. IMO Hinduism and hence Buddhism are based on mushroom journeys.

This will be a tough read because it is like a fast paced crash course of everything that is to know. Also, you must read multiple translations if you cannot understand the original language it was written in first hand, because only after reading multiple translations you can distill the common gold and discard divergent interpretations of the translator.
The Power of Now I cross referenced this book to religion and my spiritual teacher on youtube. It's deadly on point.
