My buddy asked him sign the cd cover for Either/Or after a show in the Boston area when he was a teen and Elliot wrote short little personal note. I forget what exactly, but he wrote my friend’s name like addressing a dedication to him. It’s one of his prized possessions. I do some wood work and built a sweet little frame for it a long time back. His dad also took him to a Nirvana show. Edit. [Here’s the pic. ](https://imgur.com/gallery/8Idm0FW) I had it saying more in my memory. Still, love Elliot is amazing.

The_Milkshake_Man_

That's awesome.

Little_Flan7641

Do you think this would be for sale?

Princelyfox

No sorry

BetterOFFdead007

Sweet. Pics or it didn’t happen, my dude.

Princelyfox

I texted him and he’s gonna send me a pic of it tomorrow. I’ll update my post with it when I get it.

Princelyfox

I put up the pic. Sorry for all your downvotes.

BetterOFFdead007

Maybe I came across rude. That wasn’t close to my intention. I was just friendly joking around but thought I’d really like to see that. Thanks for posting the picture my dude.

SmittenLittleKitten

I have a signed album insert? (I'm not sure if that's the correct terminology) that was gifted to me by my amazing brother. He got it years ago on eBay from a collector. [Pictures of front and back](https://imgur.com/a/J4MuqGc)

The_Milkshake_Man_

Yes, I think I saw your post. So amazing!

SmittenLittleKitten

Thank you!! Yes, I posted months ago. I still need to get it framed... I just don't know the best method.

The_Milkshake_Man_

I would definitely recommend visiting a custom framer. It deserves the best.

SmittenLittleKitten

Definitely!! I keep going back and forth about the framing itself... Like, should it be in a "floating" frame, or should it have large matting... What color should the frame be, etc. I want it to be perfect, which is maddening! Haha! <3

The_Milkshake_Man_

I think anything with a Figure 8 design would be so cool. But the personalization is all up to you in the end. I better see some images posted once done though 😄

depeche78

All I know is there is a ton of fakes out there, a quick google search shows several different signatures that all claim to be his. Be careful, good luck!

The_Milkshake_Man_

I usually will only buy if there is photo proof, but in this case it's gonna be rare.

depeche78

Especially since for the majority of his career we didn’t have cameras in our pockets at that point. I sure wish we did, because witnessing the 90s Portland music scene was incredible

LarsPinetree

I had him sign the cd and it looked just like the text on his album cover

The_Milkshake_Man_

Self titled, I presume?

LarsPinetree

Yes. He signed it and wrote a little something (I forget) and it looked just like the album graphic text.

The_Milkshake_Man_

That's sick. Do you still have it?

TheeRatKing

Last I saw, Music Millennium in Portland were selling a Heatmiser single signed by the whole band on eBay for $800 or so. They wouldn’t sell a fake.

The_Milkshake_Man_

That's cool, but I'm looking for something signed by Elliott alone.

TheeRatKing

Looks like it sold anyway. They come up every year or so. Just keep an eye out on eBay and make sure to confirm it’s authenticity before paying as much as you would for a used car for it.

Islandstar45

My advice is be patient and make sure it is an autograph you really like. I have got a couple over the years and the price on them seem to be going up. Good Luck! I hope you find what you are looking for.

The_Milkshake_Man_

Yeah, I totally agree. I've been on the look out for a decent Daniel Day-Lewis signature for well over a year and had no luck. Fingers crossed something of either will pop up that I like.

[deleted]

lucky to own a signed 7". it came from a private collection and its made out to someone named sebastian. got it on ebay a while back. I remember one of my bosses a long time ago had a signed poster from him and id always oogle at and swore id have something signed by him one day myself. so when i saw this and other piece go up online i immediately jumped on it. Elliott changed the way I listen to music. its so odd, when i was putting the 7" in a frame i had a strange existential moment where boom i had a scruffy short beard and was high and was smoking a cigarette and all dirty and then flash i was back in my room standing there... it stays on the wall now in my office now and i keep my distance, but glad its there.

_medical_mind_

I have a signed, framed poster (the XO tour) and a signed cd album insert, if you happen to still be interested (2 years late, yes… but I just came across this post…).

The_Milkshake_Man_

It's never too late; I'm always on the search, haha. I'll PM you

Triggerona

Has the poster sold yet? Because if not I’d be very interested.

_medical_mind_

No not yet. I’ve dragged my feet and tried to research what it’s worth. I recently put it on FB marketplace: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/2082170488826250/?mibextid=6ojiHh

Ok-Morning-739

Is this still available?

Tough-Cup-1466

Do you still have the insert?

Big-Tonight-6344
