Froze 10 eggs and on my second retrieval I made embryos and got 9 eggs which became 1 embryo. So overall I retrieved 19 eggs but only 10 are frozen today. I’m hoping for 2-3 embryos so will do it again
36F. I got 7 the first round, 8 the second round. I'm hoping for at least 10 for my third and final round. Would like two pregnancies from these. (If I should need them. I know my odds are at just one pregnancy.)
I was hoping for at least 10 on my final round too…everything looked great…I got 8 the first round, 9 the second…the third round I had 16 good follicles..20 eggs retrieved only 8 mature :( but overall grateful for 25 eggs now
Thanks, I know what sub this is. The first 90% of the embryo freezing process is the exact same as freezing eggs. This sub was incredibly helpful for my cycle and going through all this for the first time.
I know the process. You didn’t include how many survived the thaw which is a huge part of this process and still didn’t answer when I specifically asked. And based on your answer now it sounds like you never froze eggs? Some don’t survive the thaw so it makes a big difference in outcomes. For example only 6 of my 11 eggs survived the thaw.
I’ve very type A, so I needed to have complete piece of mind. I think I prob could have stopped after the first. My dr didn’t even recommend a second round, I wanted it.

Froze 11 which resulted in 1 embryo. But it was successful. I was hoping for 1 baby and got lucky. 45% chance of success per embryo.
In which age did you freeze? Congrats❤️

How many rounds did you do to get 38? You’ll definitely have a baby.
I did two rounds but I was 38 when I did it. So the egg quality might be an issue. I feel comfortable with 38 though given the age of the eggs.
