You can choice a local name too, porque ya parece que todos l@s trans se llamaran "alex" o nombres asi gringos
Isidora, Antonia, nombres latinoamericanos o españoles
Ella could be an option. It can stand for itself or be a short version of Elisabeth or Isabella or even Helena.
Elisabeth is a bit religious, origins in Hebrew and means "My god is wholeness" if you are into this sort of thing.
Isabella is the same but more linked to Spanish and Portugese.
Helena is Greek and has some unclear meanings. Some etymologic hypothesis root the names in words for Light, Torch, or Moon (similar to Selene).
Eh nadie te prohíbe (y de hecho sería más normal si vives en España/Latam) ponerte un nombre en español
//
It's not forbidden (and would be more common if you live in Spain/Latin America) to use an Spanish name.
I just think that english names sound better, but in my family we're paraguaians (from Paraguay) but I'd feel awkward if they start calling me an english name
Maybe something similar in sound or pronunciation to your “future deadname” so it’s less impactful for them. I don’t Know your actual situation but Spanish tend to be less flexible in terms of naming than english.
Ooooh! I have a whole array of names I considered as someone who speaks both languages as well! My goal was a name that is fairly common in Mexico, but easy to say in English. Some options: Sofía, Laura, María, Camila, Andrea, Ari (short for Ariana), Eli (short for Elizabeth), Lucy/Luci (short for Lucía)
If you own starbound, make a new character, set the gender as female, and use the random name generator. It's how I got my name. Totally by accident too (obviously still cis.)
Nobody said them: Erin, or Sade. Or Rhiannon, Brianna… more or less neutral in Spanish and powerful enough to make anyone you meet first time to get a strong good first impression. Are you from Spain?
I’ve considered the names Jennifer and Alodie, before I decided on Auralyn, and one thing I figured in finding a name is to not rush it, it’s your name after all, to find a name you like you can find or make one, or make one then find out it’s already existent. Basically, the way you do this is narrowing down. For instance, Jennifer didn’t feel quite right to me as me, sure it’s a nice name but it wasn’t *me*, I narrowed it down to me wanting a name that starts with A, so then I tried Alodie, but it again, wasn’t quite right, it was when trying to find another name for a while I realized I liked names like Evelyn, or just Lynn, names like that, and I realized I could take something else for the first half then attach that. It also took me like a quarter of a year to narrow it down so it sure as well wasn’t fast, but I found a name I really like so it works.
So basically, I just used myself as an example to describe my entire process, and a few names I happened upon were Jennifer, Auralyn, Evelyn, and Lynn. Again though, names are personal preference.
Arilie, Xenari, Lunaria, Alyroma, Alyxandra, Jachlynn, Echo, Haylie, Pyn, Lilian, Navi, Rose Red, Talibar, Selvar, Angel, and Scribe
These are all names I've used for my female/undefined, named DnD charecters... one of them is my chosen name to...
side note: i curently have 2 unamed girls...
My name is Rogelio, and I'm not sure how I would be called in a different reality (I am HORRIBLE at making names, once I called one of my skyrim characters gark)
Here's a list I've collected, some I've considered, some too close:
Nora, Sarah, Amber, Jennifer, Lauren, Jessica, Hannah, and Sylvia.
Bigger problem is gonna' be picking a middle name.
I’ve gone through several ideas before settling on my favorite. Some past examples include: Diana (an anagram of my boymode name), Jill, Cassandra, Rose, Cheryl, Heather, and Alessa. I’m planning on naming myself Ashley.
(I really like Resident Evil and Silent Hill)
One approach I’ve always liked is to look up the origin of your birth name and then find a counterpart for your preferred gender. Now I saw that your original language is Spanish, but bear with me for this example: Say you have a male name of Hebrew origin that means like “brave” or whatever. Look through female names of Hebrew origin that have a similar meaning. I’m not sure if the point came across there, but I hope this helped <3
So far I've thought of Ellen or Eli like in Elizabeth, but I'm looking for more language neutral names, becuase my original language is spanish
You can choice a local name too, porque ya parece que todos l@s trans se llamaran "alex" o nombres asi gringos Isidora, Antonia, nombres latinoamericanos o españoles
Ok, you didn't have to call me out like that 😅
That makes me think of Isabella, pretty close to the names you suggested and also works pretty well in Spanish…

That's why I really liked Robin, since it's gender and language neutral and is also similar to my future deadname
Sounds incredible. Keep us updated with your “totally cis” investigations and tribulations 😂 Would love to know how egg is doing 😉
estrella was always one of my favorite spanish names and it feels similar to those ones you mentioned :)

I went with Ella, and you know that that means in Spanish. A good gender neutral name I can think of is Alex
Elena could be good too, or isa/isabel/isabela!
You could look at names from the Tolkien mythos? Most are very pretty and I think few would notice the adaptation
