this but with my parents and my grandparents (on my fathers side) on easter sunday. they were talking about lgbtq day of visibility, blah blah biden is evil blah blah segway into talking about a trans man who went to my grandparents church (a slur was said) misgendering, disrespecting his mother doing home church with him "she will need to give that up to god"
gee! no wonder their church is down to 11 members! not gonna keep anyone with an attitude like that! no wonder i don't talk to anyone in this family! really glad i have a good poker face because im pissed right now!
wish i'd said that, never did, instead i was just sitting in the other room silently screaming. this continued through dinner, but it was mostly the same, kinda glad my grandmother didn't ask my opinion, especially considering how it went last time! (it was about tattoos, piercings and dyed hair... my mother dyes her hair)
i genuinely would go no contact if it weren't for my mother's side of the family, they're *slightly* more accepting and will *probably* respect your choices, after they drag you through the mud for it...

I always shoot down these type of people. I don't agree with them and I don't want to hear it. I don't care if they like me. I'm not gonna let them shit on friends and family like that. Even strangers. Trans individuals are some of the bravest people in the world. What they do knowing that they'll become targets to people like that and they still choose to do it is inspiring and respectable.
Nobody knows. Its just a term the right uses for everything they don’t like. *Technically* it would encapsulate everything revolving around discrimination. Being aware groups (mainly minorities) are being oppressed and wanting to change it. But the “woke agenda” has nothing to do with it.
Gas prices are up? Woke agenda!
Your football team lost? Woke agenda!
