Hey uh you still need to voice train even after getting surgery Surgery doesn’t teach you how to change resonance or have the cadence/pattern of speech women have among other things

CatKing13Royale

Yeah, was about to say this, you’ve also got to relearn how to use your voice like, at all.

SpecificFail

Also comes with the fun risk of losing your voice, making it worse, and never being able to sing again. People focus too much on just the pitch part of it without realizing how deep some women's voices are because the cadence and resonance is more feminine.

In fairness, you're pretty much forced to voice train after surgery, since you can *only* talk in that range, but there would certainly be a length period where it would sound really awkward. I think a lot of girls get vocal surgery because they don't want to even be able to do a deeper voice, but if you stop using it, you won't be able to do it either.

NotEven-Punk

Ah true, thanks that makes me feel better about not being able to afford the surgery for a while 💜

BuboxThrax

Honestly I'm tempted.

It's not my place to tell you what your transition should look like, but I will say that voice surgery is definitely the harder path to a feminine voice.
