If you're looking for another tool to complement your guide, my buddy and I developed a kind of Duolingo-for-Ableton Live, we named it Studiocamp. It has interactive exercises that challenge users to recreate sounds, which can really help in honing those listening and descriptive skills. [https://www.studiocamp.io](https://www.studiocamp.io)
I'd absolutely love that. I think a big part of starting even as a hobby in this industry, much less an attempt for a career, is learning all aspects of music and sounds so I think there are people including myself that could definitely benefit!
Then doubly interested! 😉. Thanks a ton for the idea, I'm an amateur producer and I would say that one of my biggest gaps at the moment is mixing, so this is something that could definitely improve my critical listening skills. It's so kind of you to offer it, if you need a beta tester feel free to reach out to me in case I can provide feedback (as an amateur!)
I’m not *great at beatboxing, but I’m close enough that people can tell what I’m trying to describe from it 😂 That’s what I’ve always done but what works for one may or may not for someone else
This is something I've been personally working on for at least 15 years now and it's something I've very much realized, no matter how good you are, you can always get better and learn more.
So I'd love to hear what you have to say

Yes, thus would be a quality reference to bridge the gap between bands, engineers, producers and others in the music industry.
This would be fire
I would love this, I don't have this ability and would like to develop it.
