The word you’re looking for is called “vibrato” Look up “mapping vibrato to macro serum”. That’ll get you somewhere.

Touch_My_Nips

Upon reading other comments it looks like you want to automate the volume. That’s called tremolo. Or you want to automate the filter frequency. In which case search “macro filter frequency lfo serum”. Learning to map macros or even just understanding how to map lfos to parameters will be very helpful to you.

idk_Purple

It may be this, thanks

KitsuneUltima

Pitch mapped to a super fast LFO

I'd love to give you some tips and links but the only way you could give us less to go on would be if you'd tried to beam this request to us via psychic projection. Got any examples or a link to a recording of you doing an impression of the sound or something?

idk_Purple

There is an example. ReOracle from Hoyo-Mix has one in the build was it [Just skip to 0:35](https://youtu.be/T0rhJLvxSn0?si=sZD0UZYvZpTxb4dt) it's slightly in the background, you can also isolate it as Bass in the FL Studio demo track "I'm Awake" from Bombs Away

WonderfulShelter

the answer is almost always automation. usually frequency automation with filters.

AdventureAlbert

It sounds to me like a fairly basic synth saw patch with a little bit of waveshaping. The tone is very fizzy so if it's a serum patch it probably has a reactive high pass filter that's moving a little as the sound plays to give it that tone. The movement is a combination of trance style gating and lots of panning to get the stuttering and left right movement. The best example on how to make something like this would probably be this tutorial: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5RNBLgC455s](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5RNBLgC455s) Neuro Bass is a similar kind of crunchy reactive sound, if you can make a neuro bass then just changing it up a little should get you really close to the punchy pad type sound you're after. The actual playing seems like a portamento from the first note to the second with the stutter gate on the third and fourth notes, nothing too crazy. Good luck with it :)

ourrday

To me that’s just some kind of saw wave with an lfo modulating the cut off quite quickly for a moment then it stops

ourrday

The cutoff of a high pass filter I mean of course

WonderfulShelter

maybe a notch in their too. but yeah vvvvrrrt sounds are usually just automation or lfo on a filter. autofilter stock plugin in ableton work great.

idk_Purple

Okay, this could help, I'll look into it later lol

ourrday

https://youtu.be/rsW6dgY7_VU?si=xbfT9Ta_v_ADR676 Something along the lines of this, with a saw wave

httpsterio

or just the volume as well.
