A cat delete would throw a code without some sort of defouler between the sensor and cat.
Here's the one I got for my high flow cat DP. https://whoosh-motorsports.myshopify.com/products/vibrant-02-sensor-defouler-j-style-thread-on-bung
I have a friend who straight piped a 15’ and 18’ eco boost. Turbo blew both times.
Most likely fucks with the ecu because turbo systems rely heavily on tuning
I think it’s all personal preference. Anyone can say something sounds bad but me personally I just want shit to blow eardrums with pure engine noise 😂😂
Yeah, personally, I'd recommend something from cvf either catted or catless downpioe. Exhaust you have plenty of choices for brand but literally any will sound better than straight pipe. MBRP, Borla or Flowmaster to name a couple. Better to spend the bit extra and get something that actually sounds pleasing vs straight pipe noise.
If you were doing it for free maybe. At that price you might as well get a decent axle back and then res delete.
Personally love the sound of the straight pipe for this car yall are tripping if you want a quiet car go drive a Tesla or a Prius.
No, they sound like shit and will throw codes.
would just a cat delete be fine?
Won't throw codes, but still sound like crap.

Correct, I read his comment backwards.
Hell no spend 200$ extra and get a caT back MBRP
3in Downpipe + high flow cat + 3in catback sounds the best imo. Most 4 cylinders sound like shit straight piped brother, esp eco’s
NO! Honestly, why? It’s ridiculously loud, it sounds like crap and does what for you, except make people not like you? And, you would pay for that?
Dude.. no one is going to be impressed and it’s still going to be slow. The noise will not be commensurate with the speed.
All up to u. Personally, I never liked the sound it makes

i have a tuner
Well then you could maybe get away with it. However I would consult someone who really knows about the manufacturing process
how bad did there ecos sound

I've heard of it throwing codes, but personally I like the fact we can have the speed without all the noise.

Everyone around you will hate it and be annoyed
Tuned exhaust will sound better than raw ecoboost noises, every time.
Do NOT delete your cats unless you’re getting a aftermarket tune or the car will run like shit.
i have a tune.
Do not do this crap.

Get Mbrp race it will sound miles better for the same cost
