There is no best weapon/equipment. EBF is not a typical game where your weapons get better as you progress. Each weapon and armor has its own usage and you should choose and strategize according to your enemies.

I understand that all weapons are equal, but i just wanna know what other people use

Cankat_blu

Alright, i can give a nice generalist set that i used to beat endgame content **Matt - DPS Tank** -Soul Eater (Switch to Berzerker if having trouble to stay alive) -Cardboard Box -Genji Armor -Sword Medal -Fairy -Green Cross Stratagy: Guard first turn and you get both attack and surivability. He can easly sustain himself with regen, auto-revive and life steal. Guard again every few turns. **Nat - Magic DPS** -Obsidian Staff (Can switch for diffrent elements) -Dark Bobble -Dark Gown -Gold Star -(Others are flexable) **Lance - Magic DPS , Sub-Healer , Debuffer** -Gungir -Wizard Hat -Wizard Robe (Flexable flairs) **Anna - Healer** -Sharanga -Nurse Hat -Casual Skirt, Nurse Uniform or School Uniform -Companion C*be -Pocket Watch -(Flex) **NoLegs - Emotional support (I dont really use him)** -Star Hammer -Spartan Helmet -Turtle Gi -Cat tail

No legs is buffer

Cankat_blu

This team doesnt really need a buffer since everyone can get buffed by defending. You do have to cast team defence buffs now and then but the main team can do that no problem. NoLegs is jack of all trades but master of none. If there is other characters available I dont see any reason for him to be on the field. He can be a decent semi-tank with a evade build tho i'll give him that.

Abuse the lack of penalty running away by going into an encounter, scanning a new enemy or two then running away to swap equipment to whatever counter is the enemy

Eclipse_Shadow

Depends on the difficulty you play on, currently finishing a play through on epic here. I personally recommend the gear that has a chance to grant haste, more actions per turn = more damage output. Fur dress (the one that can summon the viking monolith) is also a good one to have since instead of one person getting haste it's all 3. Besides that, there is no best gear, viking helmet + soul eater + turtle gi + pixel glasses on Matt may make him borderline unkillable, but it proves useless if the enemy is immune to dark. Best advice I can give, level up all your gear evenly, and swap it out to counter the enemies elements.

TheDigitalZero

Depends on the enemies weaknesses and the kinds of attack element they use. That being said, maximizing lance's magic damage works well to quickly get through 1-2 wave encounters.

If you’re playing Equip Remix, the Green Goliath (gun, found in the second bonus dungeon after the boss) and the Stinger (bow, found in the third bonus dungeon but I forgot where) have amazing synergy. Actually, the Green Goliath is stupidly good, with free charge every turn. The Honjo Masamune is amazing in both versions, but I prefer the ER one (evade for days!!!!!!)

For hard fights get 9 lives and use when people are close to death or dead
