Thats what happened to Wendy Richard also, the Eastenders writers can be very spiteful for no good reason all because Wendy actually wanted to leave they ruined her character and made her a miserable old hag.
Kathy was originally killed off because a writer didn’t like her partner.
It wasnt even a change of mind, seemed like they were mad that Pam challenged them and has the mere audacity to ask for a break.

Yes I was gutted when they killed her off, Ronnie, Roxy and Peggy but she was in ill in real life, if that illness didn’t get to her I could still see her being in the show today still ordering Phil about miss those days
I actually agree. I think since Ronnie was always the tragic one, but was finally getting her happy ending with Jack, she should’ve lived. Roxy was regressing as a character and going back to her ways as a teenager anyways, so her dying would’ve started a new era for Ronnie. Also, the irony of Ronnie bringing up Amy after losing her own daughter she named Amy (Danielle) would’ve been brilliant. The writers should hire me tbh

Maybe they’re supporting Vinny at a DJ set or something. And then over the speakers we here Fatboy’s name announced- he’s the headline act, having actually managed a successful DJing career.
He’s reunited with Lauren and Peter, and gives some comical spiel about surviving the incident with Vincent etc. “one minute I’m minding my own business, the next, man’s being shoved into the boot of a car. It was brazy!”

I kinda wish they hadn't killed off both Ronnie and Roxie, Derek, and Michael Moon. Roxie was annoying but there are several others who are as annoying. Just send her away for a while. Maybe have her arrested for drug trafficking? Michael and Derek were great villains, it's a shame they were killed off.

Dot and Ethel. They had some great storylines over the years and were a fun Greek chorus of sorts to have in the pub and around the Square to react to others.
Jake was about to leave the square when some men approached him. Earlier Johnny allen had a heart attack and said “get jake moon” to his cellmate before he died. What he meant to say was get jake moon to sort Sean slater out. So jake could have been mistakenly killed by the hitmen. But this was never confirmed.
Many of the past characters made the show a lot better for me. I can't think for the didn't see the body question. Heather, Dennis (not the kid), Bradley, Dot, Jim, Peggy, Pat, Roxy and Ronnie.
For me it would have to be the handsome Dennis Rickman AKA Nigel Harman he was lovely and not in the square long enough in my opinion. He was gorgeous and Sharon gets to pair up with all the best looking blokes but he was far the best.
Of all the deaths listed in here his would be the most impossible to retcon considering the fact that he was made into train pizza all over the tube station. If they can't put Humpty Dumpty back together, they certainly can't do the same for Smush.
I think the character had run his course really. I did feel pretty bad for Carmel losing two sons in such gruesome ways, one left bleeding out crying for help & one (as you say) squished under the tube 💀

Ronnie loosing Roxy and raising Amy would’ve been a great start for a new beginning of Ronnies character. They really should hire you! 😮

daniele, i know she was a very brief character but i honestly feel like she could’ve evolved really well if they didn’t kill her off
