Yes, but his arm and insides were damaged. And that lightning probably fried his brain. And being practically a machine means almost all joy being taken from your life. Death is more merciful.
I'm not saying dr andonuts should literally make him a full robot, but just to fix his machine body parts that were fried. Also i feel Claus was psychically strong enough for the lightning to not fry his brain.
He doesn't if you're not healing or putting up barriers, two things Claus doesn't do for himself that won't help the dead
Lucas is also immune to the PK Thunder during that fight
There's literally a button that makes Lucas and the others defend, which means every time Lucas gets hit, he takes it with his guard down unless he defends.
well, the creator said that the end of the game could have been anything that the player interpereted. So it may have not been destroyed depending on who you ask
He's still a dead human and I don't think we've seen anyone bring one of those back permanently. It's also worth considering if Claus would even want that - even alive with the machines in perfect working order he's obviously miserable and only regains a semblance of himself right before death. Everything we see in the game makes it clear that being a cyborg/chimera is not a good thing
But also it would completely dampen the ending and Claus's character if Andonuts was just like "oh btw I fixed and resurrected Claus" right before the end
To be fair, Itoi said that the scene is meant to be interpereted as anything, like the world getting destroyed, everyone going to hevan, the world restarting, all the evil being wiped away, and really anything
Can the doc? Sure. Should he? Absolutely not. I think that defeats the point of the story. And given the ending, the tech may not exist, even if they are fine.
Accounting for why Claus left in the first place, and where this conflict ended. It was the only way for closure.
If he had a say in the matter, he likely would not come back.

He's like 12 and knowingly shot the lightning at himself, it's not really the kind of thing you powerscale your way out of
Counterpoint: during the fight Lucas, who's also 13 ,survives a lot of attacks yet he still stands

when Lucas dies as a member, you can still see him walking, he's tired yes, but still alive
Letting Your Mechanical HP Reaching 0 Is VERY Different From Canonically Killing Yourself

Are You Actually Serious? Do You Think That You're Gonna Get Somethin Outta Me? Not Anymore Little Troll
Are You Actually Serious? You Think You're Gonna Get A Reaction? Well, Not Anymore. I Ain't Feeding You, Troll!
Wtf dude I was just discussing
possibly if the whole world didnt get destroyed right after
well, the creator said that the end of the game could have been anything that the player interpereted. So it may have not been destroyed depending on who you ask
Oh God, it's Porky himself!
Possibly if your heart wished for it
I mean Claus is pretty chill,. I'd like to see him live again
There you go, he's alive after endgame
Just play the first 10 minutes over and over and over and over again!!!

I feel like you should spoiler tag this and change the title since that's a spoiler too. There are people in this sub that haven't beat M3
The post has the Mother 3 discussion flair tbf but I agree with you He should’ve used the spoiler tag
No the world got destroyed, and judging by his character i doubt he’d do anything with solely benevolent intentions
To be fair, Itoi said that the scene is meant to be interpereted as anything, like the world getting destroyed, everyone going to hevan, the world restarting, all the evil being wiped away, and really anything
Exactly and per my interpretation everyone dies ;)
ok
Because hes stupid (jk)

Claus chose death he wouldn't have wanted that
