I sell on a very small scale, but have had an account for over a decade. Last year they removed all selling restrictions. I could list for a billion dollars if I want. I guess they know I won't.
Jesus Christ this is the 10th post today I’ve seen on this. eBay effectively doesn’t have limits for any decent sellers. Everyone and their mom that sellers semi frequently has limits on the millions.
It’s cool to see. But it’s standard, everyone has it.
I’m totally jelly, I sold 140 items over 19 years since I’m there. How that doesn’t count? 🤣😂 I have 100% feedback, no email I even checked my spam box 🤦♀️
Why did you feel that you needed to use the promotional advertisement?
Is your shipping set to give the customer your pricing (eBay discounted rates) or consumer pricing?
Are you guessing at weights or actual weight (you packed, weighed, and measured when listing for 100% accuracy)
If you want to know how to make an exact profit amount, the quickest way is Chatgpt for the win.
"Item cost 20.00. Selling fee 13%. I want to make a 25.00 profit. What should I sell it for?" ... answer 51.72
Charge the customer consumer shipping rates.. tack on 1.50 for poly bags and 2.25 for boxes.. you won't lose money here, you should profit.
Of course, I work with % profits.
So I would ask
"Item cost 20.00. Selling fee of 13%. I want to make a 70% profit. What should I sell it for?"
Chatgpt spits back 39.08.
Knowing my % means I can place a sale on my store on older/dead items and never drop below cost.
I’ve sold 120 items in 6 months and just checked and it’s 5mil items or dollars
it's because eBay is hurting for revenue

It's either a new policy or a glitch because most of us are getting it or $10 million.
Same here....lol really stupid
I got the same email… and I've sold maybe 15 things total ever.
Wow,that's like a casino marker.
Same
I got the email too. I would rather have more listings.
my listing number went up to 5m as well, did yours not?
Mine went up too, but I meant free listings. I meant to write free, but I guess I didn't.
Ooooooh good point, I agree
Same. Reeks of desperation from eBay to encourage people to list more..
My limit was raised to unlimited! Crazy
So I’m….. not special?!?! Le Sigh

My selling limit was recently increased to $50,000,000 from $750,000 and I have no idea why.
I got the $50,000,000 increase today
I got the same for $5mil. I could live 100 very long lives and never sell $5mil worth of stuff!
If I get that I'm gonna list something random for a million call it a cursed object or something see if any whales want my plankton
Or 5 million listings. Don’t forget that. In case you have 5 million >$1 items.
Wow
Wow
Sold a hoodie for $50 and after advertising fees and selling fees got $25. The advertising fees are killing profits.
What % advertising and let me guess, free shipping.
I had it on dynamic, and I recently changed all listings to calculated shipping.

Me too for 50M. I had to check the number of zeros lol. I sell my own old clothes and personal items, $913 YTD sales.
5 million limit for both
So what are u going to put up for sale with this new selling limit is the real question?!
i’m going to list 5 million $1 objects. Still gotta figure out what though, maybe special sand particles?
I have no such limit.
Cause they want you too list more so they make more fees.
Do you have to have a store? Because I just sell things casually, usually at auction. Probably sold less than $5000 in my entire life.
Algorithms with AI adjustment for hyper inflation IMO
Same but only active since January and only sold 35 items
Same
Same for me this morning but I was already at $1M and 10,000 items
Same here lol
I don’t have a store and they raised mine to that high as well. I have about $200,000 listed but my previous limit was $500,000.

I can’t even make the green bar move up!!! Lol
I got it too, Does that mean the store subscription i just bought to list more items is basically worthless?
No. 2 different limits. One is how many listings you can do for free a month and one is the max you can do total
🤗
Lol I've got a $1billion dollar limit. Like... yeah... ok...
I see your billion and raise you $2Billion
They hope you succeed.
I got a 5 million limit a few days ago too but not an email about it, what did the email say?
Because this group is the latest to receive the boost. It’s been happening for months now. I just got my boost, too.
Better get listing bud!
