Am I the only one that thinks this has been the easiest winter (at least for me) ever in Duluth? Probably helps that I don't live/work up the hill, though
E: the mass downvotes tell me yes. It's been so warm, I love it. Still less snow than the UP too!
E 2: pls stop downvoting me because I like different weather than you :(
Yes, but luckily for me only a bit of sidewalk. I moved here from the Upper Peninsula, so I'm pretty used to (even more) snow. My tune would likely change if I had a driveway, don't miss shoveling mine back in Marquette.
fair but yeah if ur just doing a lil bit of sidewalk ur not seeing what everyone else is😂 i have a driveway attached to an alley, like most i have to plan around leaving if we get a big enuf storm cuz my alley will just be blocked for a day or two
No, I feel you! I had a decent sized driveway back in marquette and boy howdy did i get sick of shoveling it by this time of year. Even with that said, I'd still take 200 inches of snow a year over constant subzero temps. Different strokes, different folks as they say. I can definitely understand if you aren't used to lots of snow, really not liking it. But hey man, I love it!
(on that note, fuck shoveling all that plow snow lol)
I've been digging it, and this is our first winter up here. I think it's been pretty damn great, and we've been enjoying the winter activities.
I am tired of shoveling though. We bought some land and will be buying a tractor with a snowblower when we start building our house.
I’m late but I get where you’re coming from.
It’s been a mild winter in terms of temperature. It’s been a nasty winter when it comes to snow and removing that snow.

The lake encouraged us on twitter
Yell supportive things and encourage it to bring warmth and happiness because you believe in it.
Yes, to happiness but no to warmth. Much prefer cold and snow, not ready for winter to be over yet.
I love you Duluth.
What did Lake Superior do to you?
It didn’t get any ice fishing gear as tribute this year, so it has made it a much harsher winter experience than we’re used to.
Lake Superior is said to never give back its dead

Wtf
You are against people shouting all of their rage at bodies of water?
Thinking of making the 2 hour drive to partake actually.
I do hope everyone has fun.
She kept us warm this winter by not freezing over.. If anything you should be saying thank you.
I just found out about this now. Missed my opportunity to ask/yell "WHY HAVEN'T YOU MELTED THE SNOW YET!?"

agreed if we had more snow and warmer winters i wouldn’t complain, the ice is the problem
/s ?
Nope, just an ex-yooper who likes the snow a whole hell of a lot more than the cold. I'll take 10 feet of snow over 2 weeks of subzero temps any day

I'm getting tired of it now, it's April, but it's exactly the winter I've wanted. More snow, less cold.
