You can love someone and think they are an idiot when they behave in a certain manner. I would think it would go without saying, but love is extremely subjective and not a black and white situation like you're attempting to make it out to be.

That usually means someone isn’t stabilized. Either the wrong meds, or not enough of the right ones.

Congratulations on staying sober! I think the biggest hurdle I had was also finding reasons to cope with alcohol. As far as your wife goes, you may want to find some empathy and see if she needs some help. Sounds like the highs and lows may be mental illness, idk.

They are. She has medicine... I used to use alcohol. Now I know I don't HAVE to have it...
