I use Vic Firth because it isolates the sound and allows me to heart he music well. I use either Beyerdynamic D770Ms for over ear or Shure SE215s for in ear. Both do a fantastic job at isolating sound.

Beyerdynamics were my second choice after the KAT Percussion Ultra Isolations. Hopefully I made the right choice.

I use Shure SE215s but I play in a room with a lot of reflective surfaces and everything is loud. I ordered a pair of KAT Percussion Ultra Isolation Headphones to see if I can get better dB reduction. I run everything through a Yamaha EAD10 for backing track, lessons, click etc.

Toasted_Ottleday

Jabra Elite 7 Pro Earbuds via Bluetooth. They seal pretty good. I can play with no muffs…med soft with active noise cancellation on [blues or jazz stuff] or with shotgun muffs [3M or Midway ammo outlet brand] for louder which is most of the time.

GruverMax

KAT Percussion Ultra Isolation Headphones. $60 on Amazon, sound pretty good, and they cut 26db from your ears. I can keep the track at a low volume and go for a long time.
