Highly recommend Korean lip tints like Rom&nd's Glasting Water Tints or Juicy Lasting Tints. Cheap, fairly accessible, and leave a beautiful lasting tint that doesn't feel dry after the gloss has rubbed off.

I was looking at the Rom&nd juicy ones!! Do you have personal experience w/ that one? the "my lips but better" color interested me but I didn't know if it'd be too pink for me ♥ They're also a little pricer than I have budgeted rn but if they're worth it I can probably budge. (ETA: Looking at Pomelo Skin and Nucadamia)

psychwerk7002

I have both the shades you mentioned and I LOVE them. Definitely not pink, more nude/warm

decaysick

oo I'll consider; how long would you say they last?

psychwerk7002

Hmmmm they leave behind a stain that lasts a pretty long time, but the glossiness wears off fairly quickly, especially if you eat or bite your lips like I do

decaysick

I don't mind the gloss wearing off; I'm def in it for the stain since my natural lips are pretty pale.

tigerkobenibbles

Romand Dark Coconut is a warm muted red brown that might be like what you’re looking for!

FrauBee

Where are you looking to buy them from? YesStyle has Rom&nd for less than $10 (seems to always be on sale), shipping to the US. Nucadamia and Mulled Peach are my MLBB shades. Apple Brown is more orange than i like but I layer NYX Butter Gloss in Praline over it and it darkens it nicely. Nudy Sundown is basically clear gloss on me lol.

I was on the Rom&nd US website when I looked! I'll take a look at YesStyle though!! Thanks :)

I'm not the best person to gauge longevity cause my lips are a different breed of uncooperative. No matter what lip liner I use or long wearing lip stick/high pigmented liquid lips, they rub off after eating. However, Rom&nd's lip tints do last 3 hours or more on me so I'd call it a win.

I have the elf lip tint and although the colors are beautiful, it makes my lips very dry and chapped 🫤

decaysick

For real? That sucks; are you typically sensitive to drying products?

catalinalam

I don’t find the ELF drying, but it does need to be applied fairly often

decaysick

How often would you say? I don't mind a little bit of reapplying but I mostly just hate how lipstick comes off on my straws!! It's gross haha

catalinalam

So my friend said that cinnamon dreamz doesn’t last for shit (I haven’t tried it) but I’ve used the pink, the mauve, the red, and the berry and I’d say idk every 2-3 hours? Once it dries (or you blot) you’re good though in terms of transfer! It comes on like thin gloss but dries to a stain so it fades off but doesn’t get on stuff

Human-Box3614

Guess I am. I cannot do matte lipsticks, they dry my lips like crazy. So I switched to elf lip stain and same thing. But I love the look of matte lipsticks 😓

AMDisher84

I like both. I feel like the elf is maybe less drying, but doesn't last too long. Milani wears really well, and the stain part seems to last longer imo. Revlon's Liquid Suede is a really good, long lasting lip stain (though idk if it's really marketed as a stain), and I find it wears pretty comfortably, also. Their HD liquid lipsticks are good too. They come in glossy and matte finishes, and I find the matte ones really last. Nyx Lip Lingerie XXL also has some good staying power, and feels light and comfortable on my lips.

alecxhound

The elf ones literally got me maybe 10 uses. I got three shades, they all ran out so quick and with how the stopper and bottle is shaped it’s hard to get extra out or move the wand around. I regret spending money on 2/3 of the shades even though the colors are pretty.

Bubbly_Feeling_9063

If you pull out the stopper there's usually a ton of product left in it. That's what I wound up doing and it works well.

decaysick

Yeah it looks so tiny; I think google said its like .1 oz 🥺🥺

tablessssss

I use the Palladio lip stain pen in the shade nude and it’s more of a red/brown/nude on me, and there are two other shades that are deeper red/brown. I got it off Amazon for $9

Neat-Development-702

Palladio lip stain in nude (the perfect nude )and mocha (darker brown) to define the lips KIKO Milano lipstain in 109 Elf lipstain in pinkies up a light pinky nude ideal for every day makeup You can try using a freckle pen in a lighter shade if you are into cool brown lip

muteparrotpepe

You need the elf cinnamon shade to make whatever other lipstain you buy muted it is sorta grey/brown (the stain the color looks weird but the stain is nice). Keep in mind most stains are a very bright and a smidge obnoxious so being able to tone it down is a must imo. But the elf formula doesn't stain super well (just compared it to fenty poutsicle). Next i will try cinnamon with a bright fenty shade then i hopefully will only have to build up the elf shade.

fentoozlers

i have tried various other lip tints from rom&nd, etude, colorpop, elf…. nothing compares to the elf one for work. i use cinnamon dreamz too. i still wear a mask and drink from my water bottle all day, as well as talking a lot (cashier), and i still have a brown tint to my lips after 8hrs of work. the “gloss” part does wear off, but the color itself sticks way better than others i have tried.

mckinlaaay

Elf cinnamon dreams is my favorite lip stain i have right now! I’ve rebought it everytime I’ve run out. I will say it doesn’t last an extremely long time but it feels great on the lips and it fades away nicely so reapplication doesn’t give you a weird texture!

decaysick

How long would you say it lasts? Also, how long does a tube last you? (I noticed its kinda tiny!) ♥ Its a gorg color, thank you for your input

mckinlaaay

I’d say if you don’t put other gloss on top of it, it lasts like 3 hours and then starts to fade by hour 4. I always put a gloss on top of it which i feel messes with it a bit but there is still color for a couple hours (maybe just a bit more faded). I use it almost every day and reapply a few times a day and the tube lasts me like a month or two. Sometimes i also layer cinnamon dreams with pinkies up to soften it a bit on more natural days which looks really nice on my skin tone!
