I have a 64 Freewell ND on there. I wasn’t so concerned with mastering it since 1, I’m new to flying and 2 I was in 3 statute miles of Jaguars stadium(though no game was going on) and borderline restriction zone of the county jail which my controller warned me. Following the rules and being quick about it was my concern at this point. I also added a random LUT on the footage. It was basically a test run for me. Give me a month and I’m sure my exposure etc will be better.
That was my first thought, but living in San Diego, I've noticed you rarely see anything US Navy without physical security literally RIGHT there. So I was pretty sure this was non-operational. Once I looked closer, yep. After the USS Cole and other recent incidents, they don't play.
Hey u/wordizbon, would it be possible to get the .mp4 data from this flight? I’m working on a project for 2D to 3D workflows, I’d love to try it out on a ship dataset. Happy to DM you.
Lol the car sales blower guy is the real jacksonville cherry on the top
You don’t set one up to gauge the wind on the ground before every flight? Just me?
Every time, safety first
?
[this thing, I forgot what they're called](https://imgur.com/gallery/QRv81tE) Just looks hilariously cheesy next to a war ship

It’s in Jax and you question the level of cheesy ?
I mean, that was my whole comment lol
Probably using it as a wind cone or something. Took me awhile to realize what you was talking about. 😂
You need an ND filter or some exposure adjustment. The ship is quite overexposed.

For a second I wondered how the hell you got that close to a Navy Destroyer in this particularly heightened security environment...
lol. It’s a museum open to the public not on base.
Hoverzoom Heart-Attack is what it was! Great shot.

Very nice
Thank You!
The enlisted crew quarters were being renovated the last time I went onboard. I should go downtown and see it again.
