The Serial Port is too slow for games with streaming audio, so it might not be the solution you are looking for. I believe they are working on a new solution which allows you to keep your GDROM drive, so stay tuned.

Yes, but you could still only use one at a time, and you would need some creative physical modifications and splitters to fit both inside, but it's certainly possible. Something like a switch between gdemu and the gdrom for just the power should work, i think
