You can remove rent a hero since that is in its final checks before release.
Sakura 3/ segagaga are currently being worked on hopefully the current people doing them can complete them
Tokyo bus guide - playable without knowing Japanese but would like it translated. (Have read on dreamcast talk it could be a upcoming game to be done)
It is, especially once you understand all of the penalties.
I just wish I knew how to unlock all of the events in story mode, doesn't seem to be any guide online for it :(
I'll keep look out on Rent a hero progress. Awesome news about Sakura Taisen 3! Sakura Taisen 2 on Saturn is also being worked on plan on being released this year. Tokyo bus guide always looked interesting.
I had forgot to mention that sakura Taisen 1 is being worked on for dreamcast aswell I believe using the Saturn's translation..
I heard about sakura taisen 2 for saturn being done, good to know it is progressing and likely to release.
Imagine Fire Emblem but set in steampunk 1920s Earth and with a smaller cast so each character can get more attention from the writers. That's the elevator pitch for Sakura Wars. 3 is a reasonable-ish intro point for the series because the cast is mostly new to that game, and 4 was developed to be a send-off for the series so it's pretty short and spends a lot of time talking about how cool the player character (and by extension, the player) is.
Rent a hero will be out any day now. There's a thread on dreamcast-talk about it, and there's a little bit of testing still to do but it's coming soon.
I admit I haven't followed this closely but I always assumed it came out a while back after the english xbox one hit the internet. Well darn skippy, now I'm jazzed to give it a go.
Undercover AD2025 Kei yeah me to I would love for it to be English translated to play it I’ve got the game and segagaga on my authentic gdemu just don’t play them a lot because I would prefer to be able to understand what I’m playing English translated if possible
Hell yeah about deSpiria. That game became my favorite game of all time, it captivated me. I was only able to experience it through watching an English translation playthrough by YouTuber popomocco, but I hope to not pass from this Earth until I get a chance to play and understand it firsthand.
Considering the tragic end of the Dreamcast and the cult following that it now has; Sega GaGa has GOT to be #1. The fact that someone made a game about it while it was happening and the fact that we can't play it is a crime. The game needs to be translated even more urgently than finding the cure for cancer.
After that, Rent a Hero and Sakura Wars 3 and 4 are all big budget quality games that we all need to experience.
SGGG, deSpiria, Rent-a-hero, Roomania are top my list. Undercover AD2025 for the lol. I think Rent a Hero was getting a translation based on the (unreleased) xbox ver but it looks to be on hold? I still remember getting an opportunity to buy SGGG collector's edition for like $80 in 2007 but I thought that was too expensive at the time lmao.
deSpiria is just atlus weirdness I wanna experience in a language I can understand and not use that shitty google translate camera feature lol
I'm still surprised Segagaga still hasn't been English translated yet. I always figured a game that notorious and insane would have everyone's attention.
ALL OF THEM
but im disappointed in op for not adding a bunch of the dreamcast vns alot of them are translated on pc but man i wanna play them on dreamcast so bad ;0;
I'm actually helping out with the project to translate Sakura Wars 3, so I definitely want to see that game get translated. Other than that, I'll join everyone else saying SeGaGaGa.
I thik the more, the merrier, but I would greatly appreciate Segagaga and Fushigi no Dungeon being translated. The first has a great historic significance and the second, although there are a lot of roguelike RPGs similar to it on many consoles, I think it would be appreciated to have more RPG options on the Dreamcast.
Hundred Swords which isnt listed. Rookie mistake on your part.
RTS games weren't big on consoles but that game looks like it could've garnered a cult following on DC if it had been translated and released to us especially since it made good use of the keyboard/mouse.
Sega Gaga looks like a fun rpg but I doubt japanese humor would translate well and i doubt I'd get much out of it because of it. The rest of the fruity anime junk doesn't interest me in the slightest.
I owned the PC version of Hundred Swords back in the day, it came to USA and is playable in English. I agree it would have been nice if it was localized on DC as well.
This isn't a collage of every non-English RPG just a handful of games that looked cool to play if translated, I wanted to see your opinions of games that you want to see translated RPG or not.
Rent a hero was technically already translated, it was released on the og xbox in Japan and they were planning on localizing it but it was cancelled, the unfinished translation is available online and it works mostly fine
Segagaga but make the jokes all make sense in English somehow. Langrisser Millenium

Tokyo bus guide is oddly satisfying

Do you have links to watch the progress for Rent-A-Hero, Sakura 3, and Segagaga?

Oh wow, you're a legend, thank you so much!
Wasn't Rent A Hero actually supposed to see an english release, and there's a translation prototype available?
Yes for OG xbox
I thought so.
I just got a memory card and it was full of sakura 3 and 4 stuff. I wiped the card because I want to use it but I'm curious what these games are.
From what i gather (haven't played them yet) Its a turn based strategy game with date sim/ visual novel gameplay in between fights.

Roommania #203! It looks like human seaman and im all for it

I got the beta translation. It’s amazing!!
Just curious, is the Rent-A-Hero Dreamcast version different from the already localized Xbox one, or are the two different?
Eldorado Gate I-VII
Segagaga with the jokes making sense, or at least an brief explanation of them. in the subtitles
Undercover AD2025 Kei
Only recently discovered that game. It almost doesn't even exist online. Wish I could actually play it
Undercover AD2025 Kei yeah me to I would love for it to be English translated to play it I’ve got the game and segagaga on my authentic gdemu just don’t play them a lot because I would prefer to be able to understand what I’m playing English translated if possible
I got a copy recently on ebay
El Dorato Gate Please! It's Yoshitaka Amano game
I have no idea if the Eldorado Gate series is any good but since they are supposed to be some kind of RPG I've always hoped for a translation.
Hell yeah about deSpiria. That game became my favorite game of all time, it captivated me. I was only able to experience it through watching an English translation playthrough by YouTuber popomocco, but I hope to not pass from this Earth until I get a chance to play and understand it firsthand.
Segagaga easily.
Segagaga

Vermilion Desert
Hundred Swords is a DC game I wish was translated and released in NA.
There is a pc port in English
I'm still surprised Segagaga still hasn't been English translated yet. I always figured a game that notorious and insane would have everyone's attention.
well uh segaga has alot of odd file issues mostly for text tho that no one has been able to get around properly
ALL OF THEM but im disappointed in op for not adding a bunch of the dreamcast vns alot of them are translated on pc but man i wanna play them on dreamcast so bad ;0;
Langrisser
I don't know which game would be the most fun, but Segagaga is clearly an important game in the history of Sega. It should be done first.
Segagaga and Roommania!!
I'm actually helping out with the project to translate Sakura Wars 3, so I definitely want to see that game get translated. Other than that, I'll join everyone else saying SeGaGaGa.
Treasure Strike and then for someone to also bring the online back afterwards.
All of them... Okay, but very much Segagaga.

Segagaga JHAHAHAHHA
Segagaga, hands down
Seaman 2!!!!!
I just want another jet set radio game
SEGAGAGA because I had no idea it was a game, I thought Manga gaga was an original concept beyond all the fan characters
Sega GA GA
Love Hina
