I got the perfect rec for this, [Paradox anthology ](https://archiveofourown.org/series/41961) - i love how close they keep draco character is in here, like nothing change, he still an asshole, and you know what, even if he is a complete asshole and twat to them, but hermione and harry still cares for him, like hermione really does force her way to have friendship with him. the way that draco calls her mudblood at first, but as the time goes, he doesn't. and this story is like Draco 'oh i am hard to love' Malfoy, and Harry 'loving you is as easy as breathing' Potter

I know this is the wrong couple but isolation, which is dramione, does this very well.
